It has taken me 3 days to get someone to answer the phone regarding an appointment at the Arcadia location!! Each time I called I was kept on hold for over an hour. Very frustrating!!! I will be looking for a more professional ophthalmologist.

Appointment was at 1:30pm, sat here till 3:00pm before I was seen, 1.5 hrs of my life is gone. You get better service at the DMV online appointments than this place. As a SC alumni, everything has always been top notch, until this overbooked medical eye center. Keck, if you are reading this, stop the practice of overbooking, we have better things to do than sitting in your boring waiting room. It has been over 2 hours now at this facility, I am inside the 2nd waiting room, still have not seen the physican. Didn't know this was thing to be an all day affair, would have brought my RV, so that I can wait in comfort. There's about 15 other patients here, combined wasted times are probably over 100 hours. STOP OVERBOOKING, our time is important, we have things to do. After multiple visit review, I have been here 3 times now, wasted 6 hrs of my life waiting. Six hours that I will never see, pun intended... The wait time has gotten longer. I think the patients are healing themselves in the waiting room with these long waits, I see them walking out. Please do something about the wait!

The Roski Eye Institute was recommended to me by my eye doctor. She indicated that I needed a specialist. I was happy to find this location, as it is close to where I live. It's a beautiful location with a nice outside atrium by the office entry. It is easy to find and has a large parking lot.Inside the office the staff was efficient and helpful with the check-in process. There are a number of doctors at this location, so it is busy at times. The check-in process was easy and the wait time was normal for a doctor. The first appointment is alway stressful. The staff was very patient with me. All protocols for COVID-19 are followed. It's nice to go to a doctor's office and have a good experience.

I was fortunate to find Dr. Sandy Zhang-Nunes at USC, a medical center that continues to impress me with their level of care. Not only is Dr. Zhang current/state of the art, she's grounded and easy to talk to. I was relieved to converse with a real expert. She spends time with each patient & answers all questions. Kind staff. Easy on-site parking.

11/16/21 Been "seeing"Dr. Linda Lam since January of 2011 and she saved my eyesight. Best skilled eye surgeon/retina specialist! She had a practice in Riverside that my husband would drive me to since her team there was most efficient. A few years back she moved it to Arcadia & we followed her there. She has one by Keck Medical Center of USC but that place gets super busy. She's a very talented surgeon & has an MBA in business administration who helped design the space at Arcadia. She's meticulous & focused, she also cares about her patients, great bedside manner. Her team at Arcadia is also top notch. Becky, one of the technicians there who prepares my eye dilation & takes imaging of my eyes is skillful & friendly. There's Edward & Gary, techs as well, very helpful. Marilyn & Delores at the receptionist desk-always a smile & its great that I'm greeted with warm familiarity. Dr. Lam always manages to tell me how she appreciates her team. I'd recommend this practice & eye specialist tenfolds. The best TIP from me after all these years, get an appt at the earliest in the morning. The whole thing for me can last anywhere from an hour & a half (best time) up to four hours--the one & only time I picked an appt later in the afternoon. Understand the way she sees her patients, she's efficient but takes the time to get to know you & listens and explains things well. I'm very fortunate to have found a great specialist & her wonderful team, it's a package deal.

I'm am grateful that Dr Lam and her team every six months look at my Retina to ensure that my vision remains strong. The examination is thorough and everyone is kind. I drive over an hour as I feel I'm getting the best care.

Let's get right to the point. It's one thing to rate a restaurant, or a hotel or even an auto mechanic. Yes, those are all relevant. But when it comes to your eyesight, the words crucial and life-changing come to mind. I have been a patient of Dr. Linda Lam and the USC Eye Clinic for over 10 years. I drive from Newbury Park, almost a 100 mile rotund trip in LA traffic, to receive the finest care available to preserve and protect my one functioning eye after a horrible experience with a Ventura County based practice that robbed me of the sight in my right eye resulting from four botched attempts to repair a detached retina. I have referred over a dozen patients to the USC Roski Eye ( many who were abused by the same practice that injured me) - here's why. First, USC Roski is part of the USC School of Medicine - a nonprofit world class educational institution that is focused on patient centered outcomes, not profits. Your care is their primary concern, not a monthly income statement. Second, you are seen by doctors who are researching and learning all the time. Their care is driven by research, not revenue. Third, they are some of the most compassionate and caring medical professionals you will encounter. You will not feel rushed or hurried. Drs. Lam and Heur are focused on you and what is your best treatment plan. The staff is friendly and cheerful and professional in every way. Fourth, you will be able to see a specialist in the area you need. I am not kidding when I say I have three doctors for my two eyes. When it comes to your sight you cannot have too many specialists. Fifth, and certainly not least, the clinic is a clean modern facility with the latest in diagnostic and treatment technology. Equipment is calibrated and properly serviced and maintained. Early on I went to another "highly-rated" institution only to be shuttled from exam room to exam room to find equipment that was working properly. The practice that destroyed my right eye had a "surgical suite" that was cramped and over a Taco Bell. Location. Location. Location. Due to conditions with my still functioning eye, I am at the clinic every 90 days, if not sooner. So from a guy who entrusts his one functioning eye to the staff at Roski, I cannot offer a more heartfelt, sincere and passionate recommendation of the Dr. Lam and USC Roski Eye Clinic, You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Lam and Staff for the ongoing gift of sight!

Dr. Linda Lam is the best and she was so attentive and knowledgeable in handling my Retina swelling issue resulted from a cataract surgery done by another colleague. I wish I have gone to Dr Her instead for my initial cataract surgery in the first place and he later took over my cataract replacement issue and everyone at the clinic is so professional and courteous especially Sylvia Rea.

Dr Flower saved my eye. I had cataract surgery at Acu in Pasadena, very bad infection for 3 moths and two doctors there could not help. Got an urgent appt with Dr Flower at USC Roski Institute and he was very comforting and ordered pills, not eye drops like others kept giving me, and in short time I think a week or two, infection were gone and my eye is back. Too bad I wanted him to do my cataract in the other eye, but the hospital order insist on my doing the stupid covid test that I don't believe in. They just want your name and counts to give to CDC and they can harass you 24hrs a day, plus the hospital get money for that. To me it's up to the person if he wants to do the test or not. I have no problem with mask and temperature taken, but don't force me to do something I don't want to. Even the nurse said the vaccine passport is coming. It's rediculus.

Dr Grace Richter is so so amazing doctor, she never let me feel disappointed. She did the XEN gel stent in my both eyes, which showed the very successful results. She is very patient and always care about my concern. She always tried her best to help patient. Everything is do good. She is the best doctors I have ever had. BTW, USC eye institute team is much better than UCLA.

Ridiculous and inept service. Whoever i spoke to trying to make an appointment has a seriously bad attitude. Passive aggressive in the extreme. I almost put the phone down on her. Then i arrive and it takes them 90 minutes / 1 hour and a half before i see the doctor. In a damn pandemic. Highly irresponsible . Now i know why an elderly asian patient was wearing a full hazmat suit ! I leave asking the somewhat clueless desk person to just notify me of my appointment with the ENT dept, as i didnt want to spend any more time waiting around for them to get their sh*t together. Still waiting 3 days later. Oh and they omitted to give me dark glasses for the dilation of my pupils so i drove home almost blind. AT ALL COSTS, AVOID!!! it's also telling that the owner, Narsing Rao only responds to positive reviews and doesn't care to respond to the negative reviews.
