Talbots have very nice clothing maybe the nicest clothing ever. Took one star because it's a little expensive but you know what they say happy wife happy life.

Great experience today. Was short of time but Barry was so helpful. Not pushy which I hate but found clothes in different sizes for me and offered helpful opinions when asked. Bought more than I intended as colors were good, styles not fussy and they had small sizes.

Lacking customer service especially when I try to return an item. I don't know the lady's name but both times I went there she seems to avoid helping me. First time I notice she is soon off work so she avoid my eye contact. Second time I went in for a return and she said I should have made sure I like the product before I purchase it. I bought over 10 pieces for that purchase and simply return one I didn't like. Overall my feeling is they seem to intentionally and subtly provide selective customer service thinking customers can't tell/feel the difference. I don't want to use discriminate but not sure what's the best way the put it. Very disappointing customer service for this brand.

I went to the Arcadia location in the morning. I went to the sales rack which was located in the petite section. I asked the location of regular sizes and was told that this merchandise was in the front of the store. The sales person acted annoyed with me for asking this question. If the store wants to be clear on location of petite versus regular sizes, the manager need to post signs. When I decided on the item I wanted to purchase, the sales person processed the order and when finished, she just walked away. The two women waiting on customers are not friendly or accommodating. I will not return to this store. The Pasadena store is friendlier and the sales people put customer service as a priority.

This TALBOTS offers awful service and it's obviously the worker could careless about their reputation as well. The cashier instead of helping me to process my items first, she kept me waiting and there is no customer ahead of me. Absolutely none sense!!

So disappointed with my visits (2) today, on both visits, employees merchandising the floor took priority over customer service. I expect more from this brand and customer service was sorely lacking on both visits but especially the second visit which happened to be a return and new purchase of items which were the incorrect size from an earlier purchase today. Apparently they don't like taking returns, a lady named Myrna was not very pleasant when doing the return, she acted as if the clothes were dirty the way she handled them (they were brand new from earlier today with tags still attached). When I purchased the new items, she did not even say thank you after the transaction was complete, she put the receipt in the bag and just walked away from the register to merchandise clothes. In today's world where brick and mortar businesses are already struggling with on line competition, why? just why? If I was not purchasing a gift I may have just given my business to the online store, I will be reluctant to return to this location.

I just went into this store to return items purchased online in February. I am a plus size customer and Talbots doesn't cater to plus size women in there stores. My return was declined as the return policy for Talbots (90 days) had elapsed. Thus I am stuck with ill fitting garments that I cannot return regardless of the fact I have the sales receipt. I have learned a valuable lesson today and I will cut up my Talbots credit card. I am not sure what I'll do with the clothes but I will no longer shop in person or online at Talbots. Heading to Nordstroms better return policy!
