No longer Rusty’s but using Rusty’s account and reviews. Beware of this place they are shady. Ask for quote up front and don’t leave your car if they don’t give you a quote. Was charged $483 just for LABOR for oil change and spark plugs. This was ONLY LABOR! If you don’t know much about automotive repair or a female, I suggest go elsewhere.No shop rates posted, super shady.Using old reviews when this place was Rusty’s. This new business here just opened so anything from a couple years ago should be removed or new business should start a new google business page.

BEWARE! This is not Rusty's anymore. Rusty has retired and is living in Hawaii. This place is now owned and operated by Jose who is super shady! Brought my 9 yr old e350 for an oil change and spark plugs. I brought my own oil, filters and spark plugs. And he was trying to charge me $$500 for the job. $17 of that was for an oil filter that I forgot to bring so $483 for labor cost to change oil, air filter and spark plugs! Not only that, this man doesn't even have his shop rates posted which is a big red flag. I brought my own parts because last time I was here I noticed he used cheap oil and my car required mobil1. It is absolutely wrong to treat customers like this. Never again, and if you HAVE to come here make sure you get a quote up front. When rusty was running this place everyone traveled from far to get his great customer service, honesty and fair prices. I'm afraid this is no longer the case here. YELP pls take down this business as it is no longer Rusty's. It is JR automotive or something along those lines.

Rusty and his shop are the best, hands down. The Why: I took my mom's VW into the stealership because of a check engine light that flickered and the engine was mis-firing somewhere; we hoped it was still under warranty. Because the car was out of warranty, the estimate came out to an unbelievable amount. I promptly looked on yelp and found Rusty because of other good reviews. A week later, the car runs great and the repairs were 1/4 of the estimate given by the stealership. I appreciate your honesty, transparency and professionalism in finding the solution to the repairs needed, Rusty. Did I mention how promptly the repairs were made??

I have a VW TDI diesel, after weeks looking for a mechanic ( locally and online) to fix the turbo ( diesel are complicated and some works involve a lot of parts to be removed) I decided to to garage the car ( was at Santa Monica Motors, they say in their weebside can fix everything and did not take my car) . Then one friend of mine recommended Rusty, great person , very profesional with deep knowledge and fair prices. I could not believe when called after one week and said the car was ready. Sometimes the size of the business is not the most important...but the people....

I had a great experience with Rusty during my visit. It was my first time at the shop and without an appointment after someone on face book Mercedes w123 forum recommended his shop. Rusty inspected my car and immediately found the problem on my 1985 Mercedes 300CD. I don't let just anybody inspection "Lady Kennedy " but Rusty was kind enough to test drive my car In order to investigate the problem. I'll def recommend and will continue to go to Rusty. Any one with a diesel Mercedes is very aware that not everyone is willing to work on our w123 nor have experience on diesel w123 !!!!

I bought my Audi A3 to rusty after I couldn't figure out why there was a vacuum leak in the system. It was my first time contacting rusty and he was informative. We scheduled a time and he was able to find the leak and also had replacement part on hand. I was very pleased with his knowledge, rate and turn around time. Highly recommended
