outback steakhouse is one of the most disappointing restaurant i've tried this year... i've been wanting to try because of the blooming onion but now i will only get their blooming onion if i were to ever go back ~Food~ blooming onion: 10/10 definitely met my expectations. crispy batter with delicious creamy aoli ribeye: 5/10 way better than the sirloin but still ok. meat didn't have any flavor and was a bit chewy sirloin and rib: 1/0?!! everything that came with this dish was not it. the ribs barely had meat and the bbq sauce was not sweet at all. sirloin was so chewy (even when we ordered medium rare) that we almost broke the plate trying to cut the meat what's also disappointing were the sides. veggies were just plain steamed broccoli, baked potato was dry and cold, and mashed potatoes lacked flavor overall this place is a miss for me ~Service: very friendly service ~Cost: $ not worth ~Parking: free parking lot

Came here for the blooming onion since I was craving this after a long while of not having eaten it. I also ordered the Sirloin and Ribs combo as well as the Ribeye steak. It was not too busy and we were served within 20 mins of waiting and our waitress was attentive as well. Bloomin' Onion 4/5 -This satisfied my craving and it was exactly how I remembered it from years ago. No complaints but it was just a little too oily. I recommend to not take it home since the oils came out a lot the day after and it was not much edible anymore. The sauce was very good and complimented the dish well. Sirloin and Ribs 3/5 - I was very disappointed with this dish since the ribs that I received were about the size of my fingers with no meat on them whatsoever. The steak was cooked to a nice medium rare, but it was really tough to cut as it was not tender. Ribeye 3/5 - This was at least a tiny step above the sirloin and ribs as it was more tender than the former. However, a good portion of this steak was very fatty. It was not bad but not worth the price of eating out. Overall, I would only probably come here again for the blooming onion and the free bread that they serve since those were the ones that I enjoyed thoroughly.

2nd time visiting an outback steakhouse, 1st one was the one in Covina, that place sucked, we waited over 40 minutes after we ordered our food until I asked the Waiter why it was taking so long, the waiter got the manager and we waited for another 30mins, finally we just told the manager that we were leaving, mgr offered to comp our mewl but at that point we just didnt feel right. So we decided to give it a 2nd shot we came to Arcadia, service was great waiter was awesome, but the food sucked, we ordered the ribeye with shrimp, the steak looked microwaved was not what we were expecting, very disappointed. And we spent $150 on food plus $30 in tip, tip was just because the waiter did an excellent job.

Came in to celebrate our anniversary. We were seated promptly. Our server came immediately and took our beverage and appetizer order. The drinks were great, the food was GREAT; our server was one of the BEST I've ever had. With luck, you too may be served by Ashley K, she was on it every step of the way, personable too!

Shrimp was overcooked, and the onion bloom was burnt.

Take order was suppose to take 15-20 minutes. It took close to 40 minutes. The take out person never showed up, manager had to grab him. It took him an additional 8 minutes to finally show up. I then had to wait for him to check me out and my food is warm, not hot. The hostess opening the door mumbled at me as I left. Complete chaos sums my experience up.

My first impression of the place was the parking. If you plan on going to get dinner on a weekend, go a little early to wait for parking. It does look like there is public transit options in the area though. The food pricing was not too bad. Things we ordered was the filet Sheila, sirloin, and the blooming onion. The filet Sheila was nice and tender and the mushrooms plus the cheese added great flavor. The sirloin was pretty standard, nothing to write home about, definitely order some toppings with it to add a little touch of special.Service was ok. It was almost an hour from being seated until we got our food. Not great, but also fairly standard for a weekend dinner.Overall, not bad for our first time at an outback.
