Just wow! Brought in my 4-series on a tow truck after it started shaking violently and all kinds of warning lights lit up. I thought I was in for a couple grand for sure.Chris looked at it and it turned out it was just a $50 part that went bad (PCV diaphragm). He ordered it and I had my car back the next day. $50 for the part or $50 for the diagnostic. $100 out the door! He could have charged by $1,000 and I wouldn’t have know any better.Really honest and experienced BMW shop!

Chris at RLA is great. I've had a couple things done on my 435i here, with the latest being an axleback exhaust installed. I'm particular about who touches the car (as everyone should be with theirs) but at RLA, it's treated like it's their own. He's very informative and explains things along the way. One of my pet peeves with axleback systems is a lot of them tend to sit much too low or droop making for an awkward fitting between the tips and the diffuser, this AWE system came in multiples pieces, but Chris took care of making sure it fit to my liking. He let the car heat up after the initial install, then rechecked to make sure everything was still properly secured. He does everything with a great attitude which makes him an easy choice any time there's something I need done to the car. Bonus points for his Pops being super cool as well.

Amazing experience here. They installed headers on my mx5 and the father son duo was awesome. Will definitely be coming back if I have to install more things! Went out of their way to solve an issue due to faulty parts and knocked it out quickly. Would highly recommend. They seem to specialize in bmw but work just as well on other brands.Service: Exhaust

Definitely would recommend RLA Automative for your car maintenance. Chris was very responsive to my Yelp messages and is very knowledgeable at what he does. He did a great job with the valve adjustment on my 2006 Acura TL. Will definitely go here again for future maintenance on my car. Thanks Chris!

RLA Automotive is the best mechanic shop out there. Chris is very knowledgeable in his field and knows what he's doing. I took my Chevy Equinox in because of a misfire and check engine light that the dealer could not diagnose. Chris got it diagnosed very promptly, which were the spark plugs. While doing so, got fully serviced with dealer grade synthetic oil change, brake fluid and air filter. Very happy with the service and will definitely be returning again! I totally recommend everyone to check them out for all their automotive needs. Also they have great pricing compared to dealer service and other shops.

Chris did an amazing job installing my front lip and rear diffuser for my BMW 540i. I couldn't be any happier with how it came out and his shop. His shop is very clean and organized and he installed my parts in just a few hours. Definitely a great shop to bring you car in for any needs.

Have been a customer for a couple years now. Long will give you his honest opinions about your car. Sometimes, honest and suitable solution will save you a ton. It is hard to come by these days, especially among car mechanics. Enough said.There is also this one time my car mysteriously break down. I don't have AAA so I called Long and he was able to drop by in a few minutes to check it out. It was really awesome of him and I was lucky to be close by.I truly hope this business does well, because I want to keep having Long as my go-to mechanic.

Called the shop at 10:30am on a Friday. Had a nail in my tire that needed to be patched. Long helped me. I was in and out in about 15 mins. He charged me $10.00. he was very fast, easy, and affordable.

I always take my car to Long, his prices are reasonable and he always take his time to explain to you what the problem is. The location is a little hard to find but if you want an honest mechanic, I know those words almost shouldn't go together, LVL is the place. No nonsense mechanic.

I was referred to LVL by our old mechanic who no longer works on basic maintenance services. LVL was great! No appointment and they were able to accommodate my oil change right away. Fair price too.

My low tire air light came on, and I had just added air a month before (and barely drive) so I wanted to have a professional look at it. I saw Long's great reviews and called. He said to come right over, checked it out instantly, and said two tires were low but there was nothing wrong, I'd probably just driven over a pothole or something. He added air and didn't charge anything. So pleasantly surprised by the honesty (as other reviewers have pointed out too -- it's absolutely true). Now I know where to go in the future. Thanks, Long!
