I worked with KB Construction Company through my insurance to fix some exterior damage and water damage after winter storms. I worked with Camon and Vicente. Camon was very thoughtful and communicative. He was willing to communicate via text, which was easier for me, and they were very accommodating to my work schedule. They did a great job and finished the work in a timely manner while keeping me informed of plans and progress.

Paul, Camon and Edison did an outstanding job. They communicated thoroughly throughout the process, the workmanship was fabulous and very detailed. They listened to what we wanted and delivered. I highly recommend them to everyone.

We had a great experience and would recommend KB construction to everyone. Your employees Ian and Bob are exceptional. Everything was laid out for us in detail from the first project meeting in our home. Communication was always clear and timely and our mutual expectations were always discussed and carried out exactly as agreed upon. Thank you, and best to all of you in the year to come

There’s really no need to go into a long story about how poorly our rebuild went. Overall, the process was terrible and KB blamed every single delay on someone else. They took zero accountability for taking 9 months to replace one exterior wall. We had an open exterior wall for the WHOLE summer.Yes, the county was involved but they actually weren’t terrible once the paperwork was finally submitted. There were delays due to KB’s workflows and a huge lag time solely based on their disorganization. Overall, the work was fine and I want to give credit to the workers who were better communicators than the guys in charge. If you can avoid using them I strongly strongly suggest looking else ware. They will make big promises about it getting done but will leave you hanging once it’s started.

It takes weeks and MULTIPLE emails/calls to get any kind of updates from these guys. They sat on the project for a month and a half before even sending someone out to survey my condo, missed multiple appointments without notice, and it’s now been 4 months since they started working on my tiny kitchen and we’re still not done…
The icing on the cake was when the lead builder didn’t know I was the owner of the condo 3 MONTHS and dozens of emails into the project...
VERY unprofessional - if I could give negative stars, I would.

Vince and Jesus are an amazing team and did an incredible job. Our ceiling started forming cracks along the drywall and they came in and within 5 days had replaced the bad panels, taped, mudded and painted the entire ceiling. They even went above and beyond and repainted all the walls and baseboards in the room. Once they finished, they put all the furniture back in the exact same spot it was when they arrived. They were extremely professional and fast!

It's beyond reason that a construction company would take 2 years to rebuild a 1671 square foot house! But when the same things continue to fail inspection for over 7 months, then you realize you hired the wrong company. I could write a nightmare novel about my experience with this company.

I had water damage after the last heavy rain. After a water mitigation team came in (also did a great job), KB fixed the drywall and ceilings and repainted everything. They got everything done on time, were very responsive to phone calls, and the ceilings and walls look like nothing had ever happened to the. Thanks to Angel, Rick, and Vince.

WARNING! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! My small 1671 sq ft house burned 2 years ago and KB Construction still hasn't finished it. Average work has been 2 days PER MONTH. Failed inspections after failed inspections for very simple fixes. I've been sending emails for 3 weeks asking about my house and no one will respond except to tell me that I owe them more than my contract amount and that they're going to send me to their attorney.

Decided to write a review. My insurance company referred few contractors including KB to repair a damaged garage wall. It turned out the experience by letting KB to do the repair was incredibly frustrating. They basically did not know much about structural repair. Poor workmanship, tried to cut every corner to do a crappy job. The garage door safety sensor wire was damaged during their repair, KB denied the responsibility of their negligent and told me to have my insurance to pay for the damage. That is not right.

Imagine your house burning down 19 months ago and it still isn't going to be completed for another few months? And that's not all! They don't honor what they told you they were going to do! I requested a couple of floorplan changes before construction ever began last fall and these were discussed numerous times through the process. Guess what? No plans were ever submitted to the city for approval, even though I have an acknowledgement from KB of the changes when I requested them! I don't know how they sleep at night. Also, the same things (as in more than one) failed the city inspections up to 5 times, and inspections of other things continue to fail. What a nightmare!

After another major home repair, I called our home insurance and without hesitation I asked for their approval to use KB Construction for a second time! They confirmed that KB is still on their recommended list as well! Rick handled estimation details, was clear about what work will need to be estimated and completed (which was replacing all our vinyl floors/baseboards and drywall repair). He handled all the communication with the insurance and third party contractor services. Vince also coordinated the project and was awesome with scheduling and working around my schedule. Angel and his crew really did a fine job. Taking time to pay attention to detail with baseboards, laying the flooring down. Angel was able to find our existing flooring, and walked me through decisions. His team also caught a huge defect with the manufacturer's flooring products. They promptly found a solution, drove to find better product, and redid all their work to make sure it was professional, minimizing my stress. Angel made sure to have the appropriate amount of crew to try and get the job done and not leave us waiting. They all always showed up on time, always respectful of our space. Construction can be tricky to find reliable services so I always like to recommend when I can to any homeowner. Another shout out to Patricia and Marina at the office - always a joy to talk to about administrative needs. Call KB!
