Our neighbor recommended Johnny's Automotive and so we had him check out brakes to make sure they were still good.
He could have said, no, the pads need to be replaced, but instead he said, you have at least a year before you need new pads.
It can be hard to find an honest mechanic, and I appreciated that he was honest by telling us to wait.

My son was down in Irwindale with his classic Mustang and was having some issues. I called Johnny’s and he had him come by to take a look. Nicest and most helpful mechanic experience that I’ve heard of and I’ve worked in automotive for years.Johnny’s went above and beyond to help him out and get the vehicle sorted, and back to the track. Words cannot describe how helpful and professional they were, and how well they took care of him.This is the type of place you can send your family to and know they’ll be treated properly.

OMGI I just experienced an extinct truly rare encounter with an honest businessman, an auto mechanic at that! Mando at Johnny's Automotive in Arcadia immediately took the time to check my car with a diagnostic sensor. He assured me it was nothing serious and charged me nothing. God bless Johnny's Automotive.

I had him repair the window wipers spray nozzle and look at the shocks. After assessing my shocks he advised me not to do the repair as the parts were expensive and my car was not unsafe if I didn't do it. I was impressed at his honesty and I will delay the repair on his recommendation. Most mechanics would have you do the repair to make money. When you go to him he will shoot straight with you and not try to do unnecessary repairs. I totally trust these guys to do it right and charge a reasonable price. So call ahead to make an appointment.

This place is top notch !! If your looking for a master mechanic this is the place ! They went above and beyond to help us out and car is running so good now . Trust is key when it comes to someone working on your car and thank god we found this place !!!!!!!!
