I had a very nice experience with a new hair stylist named Johnny. I highly recommend him. He was very careful with shampooing and cutting my hair. I will be back!

Lupe has done color on me twice and both times were good experiences. She's very friendly and asked me questions throughout to make sure I got the results I wanted. My hair is very dark and she was able to get it lightened without too much damage and cut it just the way I asked. I saw someone give her a poor rating and I just wanted to say that I had the complete opposite experience and I am quite difficult lol

Please don’t go here. I cried for hours after. I asked for curtain bangs and she gave me a bowl cut. Before hand I asked her do you know what curtain bangs are and she said yes. It was 60 dollars for me to cry. Thank you. The lady I had I don’t want to say her name cause maybe she had a bad day but she couldn’t even blow out my hair. Also, I have curly hair why do I need to damage my hair for a non existent blowout. I feel foolish for going here.

Took my son for a haircut and after my son told the stylist what he wanted she told him that she doesn't use shorter than a #1 guard on the back/sides and that she doesn't fade the sides to the top. So unless your son just wants a trim or scissor cut, do not go here. Pay the extra money for a real haircut that doesn't have limitations for certain syles

They try to charge you more than what is advertised or what they initially tell you. I get that the prices adjust a bit due to length of your hair or the type of cut there giving you but I felt like my stylist was being straight up shady and dishonest about it. First of all, as I went to pay everyone disappeared from the counter, I might as well of walked out at that point but I didn't. I guess they don't have a receptionist and your stylist is supposed to check you out, the stylist didn't check me out until someone flagged her down about 10 minutes later. Anyway we agreed on an amount that she wanted me to charge me (even though it was more than they advertised on their flyer) then as I was paying she tried to charge me way more then what we literally just verbally had agreed on, as if I wouldn't have noticed. The manager came up to fix the price and realized she was charging me more for Another service that wasn't even what I received and she apologized. Then she asked what I wanted to enter as a tip and the stylist looked super annoyed when I gave her 35% tip lol, I think that was more then fair especially considering how simple the cut was. I was also disappointed because I did really like the cut but the stylist just made the whole experience so weird and after her trying to charge me more I don't think I'd return again. She kept walking away to get something as she was cutting my hair, accidentally hitting my face, brushing my hair way to harshly and overall had a very awkward disposition about her but I can only assume she was probably new there so I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but trying to keep charging me more multiple times was just super shady.

I went in on a Sunday, late afternoon. Was so happy to find it open due to most salons being closed on Sunday. My stylist was Xiaoling. I received friendly service \u0026 a great cut! She was very helpful and gave me the exact cut I asked for. She consulted with me before and gave me good advice on what would work with my hair type. I appreciated how knowledgeable she was \u0026 thorough of a job she did. I also really appreciated that she made product recommendations but was not pushy whatsoever about me having to purchase. (Some salons are WAY TOO pushy about their products!) Also she had a walk in customer while styling my hair and she did not rush my appointment at all. She treated me like a priority while getting my hair done. I will definitely be going back to her from now on for any haircut/style.

5 stars for NORA!! She was super friendly and helpful and waited for me. Thank you! This has got to be the first time in such a long time that I finally got the haircut I wanted. She listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for! Thank you Nora for finally giving me a correct asymmetrical bob that I've been asking for all these years from other stylist. I've gotten plenty of compliments already! The salon was clean and nice as well! Fully stocked with plenty of products to purchase. I will return to Nora for my next haircuts!

I wasn't able to use the service, waited there at the front desk for 15 minutes while employees walk past me and didn't even address me and my family. Six people were in the back and only two were getting a haircuts and I was blown off. Honestly I would take my business elsewhere if anybody is inquiring.

I actually had a good experience at the JCPenny's salon in the Santa Anita Mall. It was due mainly to my hair stylist, Amelia. She is very friendly, calm, gentle, patient and attentive. She diligently washed my hair, giving me a massage simultaneously, conditioned my hair and place me under the large hair dome dryer for a relaxing and warm 20 minutes. Made me think of Ed Sheeran's music video where he was the dome hair dryer LOL It was the first time for me! On a cold day, it's perfect as it kept me warm. Afterwards she washed my hair again, trimmed my hair, and gave me volume. My hair was so fluffy and light. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there as she pampered me. I don't believe I have ever stayed in a hair styling place for over a hour. It was well worth it. Amelia was great. She said we should always make time for ourselves and treat ourselves once in a while. Indeed, it definitely has been a long while for me. She reminded me of that. I recommend Amelia if you ever go to JCPenny's salon. It's on the first floor next to Optical. Although it may appear outdated (i.e. not modern), it is very clean. Strangely it is nice to just be a simple place without all the crazy glitz and glam. It's the quality of the hair stylist that stands out.

To the hair stylist who answered the phone today at 4:30 pm- I called to make a appointment and she gave me the response, " you can make a appointment but there is no guarantee if anyone can help you" Then there is no guarantee I will ever make a appointment here then. Do you not want my service?! Never will be coming here She was very rude and unprofessional K bye
