I needed urgent care and found this place after hours. There been a lot of bad reviews but my experience was top notch as the attending physician addressed my child's needs and prescribed accordingly. Wait was minimal and facility is clean and modern. I'd use them again if my kid had an issue.

Terrible experience with the front office. Don't waste your time. We called ahead to let them know we would be 20 mins late. Instead of letting us know they would cancel our appt they had us continue our 1.5 hour drive only to be told in person that they canceled our appointment. We missed our grace period by 3 mins!!!! Instead of being helpful and offering to reschedule my appointment that I had waited 2 months for I was given attitude an terrible communication by this staff.

I feel so bad for our Children. We truly have the worst health care system. I was told the wait would be an hour, 2.5 ours later I had to complain. It took almost 3 hours for the physician on staff to come into our room to put a otoscope in our child ear in a record of 15 seconds. I truly don't recommend this place.

Amazing. Lots of parking, close to freeway exit. The only issue was getting my kid's primary care provider to correctly upload the request into the portal. The referrals team was great- sent the concussion records to the Valencia office for triage. Soonest appointment was at the Arcadia office. Bring ID, insurance card. Check in quick and easy; movies in the waiting room for kids. Physician's asst and doctor Kelln top notch- went through diagnostic tests and spent a great deal of time with us explaining care, tests, timelines, check ins, online suggestions, PE suggestions, supports at school, next steps. They were the most thoughtful and thorough medical team we've ever worked with. Thank you, CHOP Arcadia!

We get there for our appt. 10 minutes early. They have plenty of parking. It is so much easier than Chla On Sunset Blvd although it is not too bad there either. But it's Arcadia and has so much space!!! Y'all are spoiled out here. Dr. Azadi is great! We saw him as my 8 year old allergist doctor for 2nd year and has been great! Amazing! Very informative and kind. And my daughter has a very easy time talking to him. We also saw an ent doctor who is a female and it's been a few years and unfortunately I forgot her name. And she was so good! Each time we went here, it's been fine. No wait, easy check out, and descriptive after appt. Instruction. Most of all my daughters allergy and skin eczema has been under control since we saw Dr. azadi and I tried oils, creams, steroids, honey butter, shea butter, baths, - his recs gave me a clear methods on how to tame her skin flare ups!

We had a very pleasant visit the lab today. Our daughter needed to have a blood draw and the Lab Tech Griselda Velazquez made the whole process extremely smooth. She is very skillful, gentle, sweet, and patient to my daughter who was terrified of needles. Thanks again Griselda for taking away my daughter's fear :-)

My daughter was referred to Dr. Luu for dermatology. This office was amazing from the check in ladies, to the nurse Maria, to Dr.Luu. My daughter had a previous doctor that made her matter worse and scared my daughter from wanting to see another doctor for it but Dr.Luu has put us at ease with her treatment plan. Maria the nurse was so positive and sweet just all around aero. Dr. Luu bedside manner is amazing and we can't wait to see her again in 3 months. The office gives you the treatment plan as well as paperwork on your diagnosis which is so helpful for parents to follow up on. Thank you Children's Hospital Los Angeles!

I took my 2 month old daughter here for a pediatric GI due to weight issues, only because it's where insurance sent us. I left feeling more frustrated and helpless than I was going into the appointment. First off, rather than taking you into the exam room and letting you offload your baby gear, they insisted that I drop all my stuff in the middle of the hallway and then strip my infant down to get her weight right then and there with all my belongings on the floor. When my baby needed a diaper change they had me exit the hallway and change her in the waiting room restroom (this is something I've never experienced as all other offices first put you in an exam room where you can take care of soiled diapers, etc. in privacy). It just got worse from there. The doctor we saw (who I won't name) was cold and condescending, and gave me medical advice that I've been told by our primary pediatrician and new pediatric GI could be dangerous to my infant. I was advised to put rice cereal to thicken her bottles as well as give her over the counter Mylanta for her acid reflux. When I raised concern over the rice cereal in the bottle due to reports of arsenic and young baby's tummies not being able to handle rice cereal, the doctor scoffed at me and gave me a personal example as to how she ate rice her entire life and is just fine... "but granted, I've never been tested for arsenic poisoning." She seemed annoyed with me and my questions and really didn't listen to my concerns at all. She definitely did not like that I was questioning her medical advice based off of what previous pediatricians/specialists have advised me against (such as rice cereal in general) because she would respond to me with a sharp tone and short answers and asked "so then why don't you go back to them?" The worst part- she actually advocated that I stop breastfeeding my baby to put her on formula- in fact, she questioned why I wanted to continue to exclusively breastfeed my baby. When I explained my reasoning of wanting her to continue to get antibodies and the immunity benefits during cold/flu and COVID season, she smirked and scoffed at me. I was so concerned about her medical instructions that I requested an appointment with our primary pediatrician who agreed that her medical advice could be dangerous. I'm now driving an hour away in traffic to another pediatric GI I saw for my first child who had similar weight and reflux issues at a baby, but I don't care because it's worth it to not have to deal with this place ever again.

My daughter was part of a human experiment that pushed the CCS redesign so CCS could be part of the DHCS. The Department of Healthcare Services lead the experiment, they altered my child so she could have global disabilities to show how profitable a disabled child is to vendors and investors. My baby would have had a normal life. CHLA chose her because she is interatrial and her father is a naturalized citizen. The county Dr in charge was Dr Bloch, same name as Hitters doctor ironically and CHLA lets him conduct human experiments on the marginalized populations. If your child has disabled that are not medically justifiable and was at CHLA between 2010 and 2018 you could also be a victim.

I had a referral for my son to see a cardiologist so he can get clearance for a hernia/hydrociele surgery by a CHLA urologist. The referral directed us to the main west la campus. For a month long, I would call and leave messages. They told me they see the referral in the system and to wait for a call back. My son's situation has worsened and I have no way of moving forward with his surgery until I get a clearance for his heart. Desperately, I called back to the Arcadia campus where we went to see the urologist and told the nurse answering the phone my situation. Christine/Kristine on the phone took care of me immediately! She looked into the system and saw my referral and made some changes to direct it to the Arcadia center and called me back with an earliest appointment!! I was feeling so helpless and was about to pull my hair out. I really didn't want my 5 year old to be in pain before he gets help. Thank you CHLA ACC!

This is a great lab experience of you are in CHLA system and live on the Eastside. Techs are so friendly and there is hardly any wait.

I've had high hopes for our visit with CHLA Arcadia Location. We've had experience here in the past and it was positive. This time however, my son was referred here for something that might require surgery on the hand. When we met the doctor, she almost immediately told us she specialized in other general surgery (colon etc.) not hands. She also couldn't give us an opinion what this might be as she had no dermatology background either. The reason for the visit was provided when we made the appointment. We spent maybe 2-3 min with the doctor just to be told we need to see a different specialist. Shortly thereafter, we receive a bill for $244. I asked what this was for, can't possibly be for the couple minutes we were told to see someone else. The only flexibility they offered was 20% discount if I pay right now in full. Needless to say, I'm frustrated, feel cheated and don't think any other business could ask for payment and deem this as "services received". But I guess doctors and this office can. Super disappointed. Now I have to go to my insurance and file a complaint. What a waste of time.

First time patients to visit this lab and I wanted to share with other families of our experience with this office. PROS Arrived 15 min before they opened and the office was punctual to open at 8 am. Movie was on which helped distract my child. Some concerns from the patient's perspective in which questions us if we can trust you with taking care of our children: * I had to drive back for my insurance card. associates cannot follow simple practices such as returning our insurance card and ensuring to us that they did return our belonging when they did not. There is no accountability nor service recovery with a simple "I am sorry" from their end. Phlebotomist, Ruben Munoz clearly lacks these skills and also does not provide accurate information to the customers - your patients. These are simple office practices in any professional office setting * phlebotomist, Ruben Munoz, appears not to have any skillset with working around children and I am surprise someone like him represents CHLA. You should audit the work he is performing and the vocabulary he is using is not professional. Especially drawing blood...is not like his just taking temperatures. He tells my daughter while she is crying because she's getting blood drawn "it's not a big deal" really? And we informed him beforehand this was her FIRST time. * when calling back for results the associate Violet chuckles during a phone conversation with a parent? The office manager interrupts the caller as I just started to speak. I escalated to CHLA to witness this for themselves as they state the calls are being monitor for customer service and best practices, so I encourage you do so you can re-evaluate the work ethic this office performs or is inconsistent to meet CHLA mission. I am a first-time visitor and was very disappointed of the service I received. I went to Arcadia instead of the Los Angeles location because it is a convenient drive. I am very concerned of having to turn to this office with the type of service I have received with my FIRST visit.
