This place is straight up garbage. I switched from this dentist (See last review), but some of the family wanted to stay. So we went in for a regular cleaning which is covered by my insurance. They offered us a "special" cleaning for $135 and we declined. After regular cleaning was done, we were about to leave and the front staff said we owed $135 for special cleaning. I was livid, I said no to this special cleaning but they didn't want to hear it. They wouldn't let us leave until we paid. Needless to say, now the whole family is leaving this sh*t hole. I HIGHLY suggest you find another dentist. They are con artist. If you do stay here, get EVERYTHING in writing before you get work done.

I have my dental work at Arcadia Dental Group for more than 10 years and their hygienists, radiology technicians are very caring and well experienced. I have been treated for bridges, root canal, dental implants by Dr. Kon Leung. He has been my dentist for more than 30 years before he joined the group and needless to say his caring skill and expertise kept me with the group.

My recent experiences have been far from satisfactory after their ownership change.Firstly, I must highlight the attending dentist's failure to uphold the expected standard of care. Despite having a long history as her patient at Arcadia Dental, my recent annual x-rays were not reviewed, and as a result, a significant cavity in one of my teeth went undetected. This negligence led to the development of severe pain and discomfort, which could have been prevented with proper examination and timely treatment.Furthermore, when I approached her about my discomfort and requested pain medication, I was met with initial reluctance. It was only after I lodged a complaint with the front desk by calling that I was finally referred to an orthodontist nearby and provided the necessary medical prescription. However, I was shocked to discover that this referral resulted in an exorbitant charge of $160 for a 3D x-ray, which was ultimately unnecessary. To my dismay, that orthodontist recommended that I return to Arcadia Dental for the tooth's extraction, none could be done at their office. To add to my frustration, I was once again referred to an orthodontist at Arcadia Dental (why referred me to a different place), rather than the original dentist who had been treating me. The cost quoted for this seemingly simple extraction procedure was a staggering $580, a price that is significantly higher than what I could obtain elsewhere for the same treatment with a simple x-ray, which would cost less than $200.In summary, my experiences at Arcadia Dental have shown a clear lack of responsibility when it comes to reviewing annual x-rays and maintaining my oral health. The dismissive attitude towards my toothache and the failure to meet my needs as a patient have left me profoundly dissatisfied & irreversible damage. The dental cleaning services provided were subpar, with no apparent concern for my overall dental health. Furthermore, the referrals to specialists who charge exorbitant rates for their unnecessary 3D services have only intensified my disappointment. As a loyal patient, it is disheartening to witness such a decline in the quality of service.

Like the others said, front staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. This clinic is often overbooked and understaffed, please avoid if you can. There are plenty of other competitors in Arcadia, there's no need to stick to this clinic. It's a shame because the dentist I had was actually professional and friendly but the staff doesn't seem keen on keeping patients returning and rather turn people away.

Not happy with the way the front office Takes the patients concerns. Called for a filling crack I needed help with as was in pain. And, instead was schedule for a cleaning and xrays. My filling problem is still an issue and they had me wait for another 2 to 3 weeks to get an appointment. Totally ridiculous

Left my parents in the waiting room for the first appointment time of the day. They were there on time, waited an hour with no communication from staff. They finally got fed up and asked what was going on. Response was " The TC isn't here yet." Patients do not know dental office lingo, let alone boomers! As a dental assistant myself I was already really sceptical of the recommended treatment for my mom, glad she walked out and did not rebook her appointment. Extremely unprofessional.

this business sent me to another dentist for root canal and I paid $365. It asked the root canal dentist not to do a permanent filling so that your dentist can do it. You told me my insurance would not cover the filling because it was over a crown and quoted me $215. I thought the filling might take a while due to the crown but the procedure took less than 10 min. I feel I have been taken considering the complicated root canal took 45 min and cost me only $365. I will not go back to this business.

I only go to Dr. Leung and I followed him from his old location in Glendale CA to Arcadia. He is the best. The dental office has more crew now and I think it is getting better. I also noticed some new equipment.

BUYER BEWARE -- CHECK FOR INCORRECT / SHADY CHARGES! I obviously no longer go here. It was great at first, but like others have said, after they changed management a few years ago, the front desk's billing / insurance practices got really sketchy...I discovered an overcharge on a procedure I had done, and very clearly pointed out what I was supposed to be charged instead, referring to specific pages and paragraphs in my insurance plan several times to make it easier for them. But the front desk's staff wouldn't hear it and gaslit me for months, telling me that I was wrong. I almost believed them, but thankfully, I looked more into it and had to become more well versed in understanding the nuances of dental insurance (clearly not what a customer should be spending their time on!). Sadly, after several back and forth three-way phone calls between me, my insurance company, and this office, this dispute took MONTHS to resolve. A higher up at my insurance company finally forcibly informed them that they were in the wrong, and the office conceded and gave us a number to the manager who deals with insurance / bill adjustments. And sure enough, surprise surprise, the manager ghosts both me and my insurance company. Not taking our calls or responding to our messages. We had to file an official grievance to get my money back. Pretty sure they knew what they were doing, and were just hoping their sketchy methods of gaslighting, stalling, and ghosting would make customers give up and just eat the cost. So be careful. You've been warned!

I LOVE this dental group! Dr. Nguyen (Dr. Diane) and Dr. Leung are great. Very skilled, very thorough and also caring. The. office staff are great too. I go there for all my dental needs and have been for about 15 years now. They're always happy to answer any questions I have. Highly recommend them.

I just read all the reviews here and I CONCUR, THE BAD REVIEWS ARE ALL TRUE! I called my insurance and assigned me this dental group then I called this dental office to book an appointment. They scheduled me 2 months after. When i got there, the girl in front office told me that they don't carry my insurance and told me to pay out of pocket. I thought they should have done that when they scheduled me 2 months ago and verified my eligibility before my appointment. Contrary to what the dental office told me, my insurance said that the clinic is under the list of approved dental providers. This upset me so i asked my insurance to have a three way call with the clinic and the insurance verified to them that I am indeed covered under this clinic. The second staff we talked to was dry, unapologetic, rushing to hang up and has a very poor communication skills. She told me to call again in 30 mins to book another appointment but I never heard from them. I called and left them a voicemail. still no call back. Bottom line, I wasted 2 months waiting for an appointment that was a total waste of time. I do not know why this clinic is still operating if the reviews are this bad. DO NOT GO HERE.

I found Arcadia Dental Group through our insurance am I glad I did our whole family has had appointments since May my husband has had 2 appointments for deep cleaning my daughter has had braces put on which is very convenient because Dr. Abed is at the same location all experiences have been very pleasant. I had a very bad experience in 2017 and have not been back to the dentist since, not only did the dentist hurt me but the work that was done looked horrible. Needless to say I was nervous to come for a check up I had an appointment with Dr. Leung he explained to me what needed to be done, when I came in for my 2nd appointment I was so scared Dr. Leung came in with such a calm energy he was gentle and so reassuring he did everything he could to make me feel comfortable Thank you Dr. Leung for helping me feel comfortable I'm not scared to come back for the rest of my work to be completed... Everyone in the office from the man who screens you out front to all the employees are just so courteous they explain everything to you. Also you don't wait long to be seen. Arcadia Dental Group is my family's new dentist and I've already started recommending them to others.

We went to Arcadia Dental when we had a change of insurance. Appointments were hit or miss, you do have to book ahead. When you call, some staff are nice and some not so much. They do just pair you with whoever is working that day, so you may not have the same dentist each visit. Kiddos dentist was super friendly and nice. She was accommodating and patient with them. The few dentist I had were nice and the specialist I saw was friendly.
