The doctors here are excellent. We have brought all our animals here for a few years and are completely satisfied with the service they provide. Dr Glover is extremely knowledgeable and is very compassionate with the pets. She took excellent care of my oldest dog until we helped him cross the rainbow bridge. I received follow up calls checking on his progress and when she did further research on his condition. The front office staff are all lovely, friendly, and helpful.

BEWARE! FEES ARE CHARGED WITH MALICE! UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! My husband made an appointment with Maria yesterday morning for today at 4:30pm for our dog because she developed a cough, but he called a few hours later to cancel and Maria told him there would be fee of $85, because it needed to be cancelled 48 hours before hand. But he had just made the appointment a few hours ago and it was for the next day? How could it physically be possible?! So he was forced to keep the appointment, but this morning he decided to cancel anyways, regardless of the unfair fee, because our dog stopped coughing. Which they didn’t care about? It would be pointless to go since the dog is fine. The person he spoke to told him there would be NO cancellation fee. We were relieved since money is really tight for us right now, BUT MARIA CALLED US BACK! On my phone, not my husband’s, which was odd, & told me there would, indeed, be a cancellation fee of $85, because it was not cancelled within 48 hours…BUT the appointment was in “LESS THAN 48 HOURS” so it would be impossible to do so. We were tricked & uninformed. Complete nonsense! This is ONLY our second time ever trying to cancel & the first time there was no issue. I thought these were good caring people. (This is retaliation for the 1st cancel! BE CAREFUL!) They hold grudges and take everything personally instead of professionally! Arcadia Small Animal Hospital is unprofessional, inconsistent, and petty &…most of all dishonest! Do not go there unless you want to be scammed. The owner will reply to this review with lies, do not believe him! Hold onto your wallets & run away!

Top marks for this place, extremely knowledgeable staff and doctor. Not cheap, but thorough and you what you pay for.

SKYE needs a raise if she hasn't had one already. She went above and beyond and I LOVED her dog sweater. She's the sweetest lady!!!!!!!!! Hard worker and loves the animals all alike!!!

We adopted our adult cat just over a year ago. When we got him we didn’t know anything about his medical history and he is very, very shy. He’s seen both Dr. Glover and Dr. Klause. The vets, the assistants, and receptionists are all very kind and patient with him (and me!) They really care about animals here and it shows. They take the time to explain their process to you while minimizing the stress to your pet. Its so nice to be able to go to a vet that you can trust!

Unkind, uncaring, and poor professionals to say the least. They don't know how to handle dogs and will let your pup suffer because of their unwilling to do their job. This vet needs to be removed from practice.

On first impression Arcadia Animal Hospital seemed like a caring place with friendly staff. However, I can't help but accuse Arcadia Animal Hospital for swindling money and denying accountability. My mom and I took our dog there, concerned her swollen ear was infected. When the doctor looked at her, he said it was mainly cosmetic and wasn't a health concern, so instead of choosing surgery which he suggested, she chose the prescribed medication. The $89 for the anti-fungal cream Mometavet was an additional cost to the $80+ visit. But when we came home and checked online, we found that the medication was only $36. Confused, my mom called the hospital asking why they were charging over 100% extra for this medication. This was the second time they charged double the cost of medication from retail price. Our dog is also on Apoquel, which we are now ordering for $2.50/pill instead of $5/pill which this animal hospital charges. The receptionist responded by saying she doesn't set the prices and the doctor already left and would have him call my mom on Monday. My mom missed the call, and about a week later we get a letter from Brian Scott that we've been marked: Provide No Further Services. Meaning they will no longer take our business. The letter was a perplexing response to a customer who, I'd say, brought up a fair point. It almost seems they believe their customers are easy to fool, given that they were taken aback when my mom confronted them about this outrageous charge before denying future services. I feel like transparency in the business side of things translate to how our pets are treated inside. As someone who wanted to be a veternarian myself, I'm concerned that there are Animal Hospitals like this who are dishonest and try to take advantage of their customers.

Well I don't dislike them. It's just the one male receptionist name Scott. My dog was dying, I called two days in a row and the females on the phone were more then helpful. They told me to bring my dog in to be put to sleep but to just call before coming in so they know. So the next day when I called in to let them know, Scott told me I couldn't come in because they were too busy. I got mad and told him my situation and how I waited for they're lunch to be over and I could of tooken him somewhere else. Scott hung up on me while I was still talking. I didn't call them back. But I think he needs to be written up or better yet fired. He made their business look bad. That's just my opinion. So everyone beware of Scott. He's more then unprofessional. Everyone else is great.

My parents brought our Shiba Inu here to see Dr. Fees after she was having diarrhea. We were looking for a new vet because we had an awful experience at Pasadena Pets and it has been difficult finding an experienced doctor since the pandemic negatively affected this industry. We've lived in Arcadia for almost 28 years and always knew about this hospital. After a bad experience in town, we were worried our dog would not adjust well or the vets would want to give her anxiety medication first but our experience was much better. Everyone at the front desk was especially patient, warm and attentive. Thank you Maria for helping us get settled and patiently answering my questions over the phone. My parents felt comfortable taking our dog here especially since English is not their first language. Dr. Fees was professional and unlike our experience at Pasadena Pets, he did not ask us to give our dog anxiety medication before visits. Our Shiba needs time to trust new people and new surroundings and everyone at Arcadia Small Animal Hospital understood this simple concept and made us feel comfortable in the room. We look forward making this place our new vet in town.

Question: My cat is very, very aggressive in a new environment and with strangers (such as the vet doc and staff). Can you sedate her and shave all of her hairs, as she vomits her hairs at least once a day? While sedated, I would like to her to be rabbi-vaccinated as well. Thank you.

Brought my cat here for a check up and her vaccines. They were super patient and did everything to make her feel comfortable. She was purring away the whole time. Lol will definitely bring my other fur babies for their follow ups here.

Over the last 20 years, I have taken eight dogs to Arcadia for their health. I saw this one dissatisfied customer posting multiple one star comments just to engage one complain in public is not fair to the hospital nor to the people who use Yelp to search for service providers, so I'm posting this five star rating to balance the curve a bit. The last two years has been very difficult for pet owners to drop off their love ones at vet office, not being able to be with them in exam room to calm their nerve and not being able to converse with doctor during the exam. Arcadia is the only animal hospital I'm aware of allowing owners to enter, which I very much appreciate and understand the risk they take. I lost two senior dogs last year, during the last few months of their life, I took them to hospital every week for care. I can't say enough to the supports I received from the vet and staff during that difficult time. There are many new and big chain hospitals out there. Their equipment may be better, there maybe more specialists and they have larger facility; but I feel comfortable trusting my family at Arcadia Small Animal Hospital.

I can't respond to the owners response so I Have to do it this way First I fully understand the whole Covid restrictions and I truly appreciate anyone who has and is working these times. Loyalty is important but new clients help your business also. Actually when we transferred to you guys I highly recommend your animal hospital and I have been nothing but nice to your staff that being said I NEVER accused them of not caring for animals that would be out of line I actually said look at my phone log because you never called me. Your staff saying I said this actually upsets me when I left I did say I'm not waiting and I will find a new vet. That was said out of anger if the ladies were not so argumentative and when I spoke to the manager he was somewhat apologetic I would of not changed vets because everyone has a bad day but your response makes me think the customers don't count unless they are a long time customer It's all Making sense to me it's a full circle on how you and your company treat people.
