Small course. Good one to practice. The range balls are expensive compared to other nearby courses. Always crowded on the weekends.

Very nice course, wish I had time to do the full 18 but the front 9 provided a very good challenge as a beginner. The staff and service was absolutely amazing. I will definitely keep coming back here.

Runs out of golf balls frequently. I went there at 8pm (they close the golf cart at 8:30pm) there were no golf balls left. I used my member card and I only got three balls. Got a slip from the counter but as I was waiting, someone came with 3 baskets of golf balls full and handed it to the others. I was waiting before them. Didn’t know you had to have connections in order to get a basket of golf balls…

I visit family in San Gabriel at least twice a year and they are members of Arcadia 3 Par and we go about 5-6 times over a 2 week span every trip! We all love the course! Soon we will be moving back from North Dakota as well and I plan to join the membership program as well! As for my review, I am giving 4 stars because nobody is perfect and always need something to strive for, lol. There are things I find that could be worked on, but are honestly minor and really do not affect play or the enjoyment of a round of golf there. One of the things I notice is issues with lighting for the evening rounds of golf. There seems to always be a few bulbs that are out or something preventing the lights from working. On a couple of the tee boxes, the lights shine directly into the face of the golfer making a little tough dealing with the glare on your tee shot. A few other things (again, minor) would be the leveling of the cement slabs on some of the tee boxes, the edging around, and condition of, many of the bunkers and condition of a few of the mats. In regards to the mats, the issues are one or two are always wet and muddy and a couple others have waves in them or are just wearing on one side. I think more monitoring with cleaning and even spinning around (swapping left side to right side) would add life to the mats. The final issue I feel could be better is the tree trimming. I know for more advanced golfers the challenge can be enjoyable, but for the average golfer this can be a bit of a bummer if a shot is even slightly off line. Like I said though, all really minor issues and I will forever be a customer and hopefully soon enough, a member!
