Worked with Desiree (hope I spelled that right!) over the phone for over two days to get my auto insurance issue solved. Beyond grateful for the work that she put in and I will continue to use their services in the future!

This has been the worst experience with insurance I could have possibly imagined. I tried to bundle my auto and home insurance in September, answered all the questions related to car insurance over the phone with my agent and provided payment information. Come to find out they never initiated the car insurance. Then when I reached back out to get car insurance again I had to answer all the same questions and mentioned I would like car insurance going forward. I just got a letter in the mail from the DMV saying I am no longer covered by insurance. It turns out my policy wasn't set to auto pay. I never received email communication from the company about this, they claimed they sent a letter in the mail but I don't recall receiving this. They told me on the phone that auto renewal and auto pay are not the same thing so while my policy was set to auto renew (what I initially asked for), it was not set to auto pay so my payment wasn't collected. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. They have my credit card information and I explicitly stated I wanted my policy to auto renew. Now I have been uncovered for 3 months and will face increased rates because of their incompetency. I have had several different insurance providers in the past and have never experienced anything like this.

They were amazing back in the day. I had them for so many years. But when all the amazing staff left went downhill. Trisha was amazing. George was amazing, and Mrs Garza, I hate that they had to leave the company I was going to stay, but they were giving me the run around so I went to a better insurance were I can go inside of the branch to see my person instead of over the phone.

I just recently had to file a claim because my car got broken into and some expensive items were stolen. Not just that, I also have damage to my car. I have two different claim adjusters and neither are being honest about these two claims. They are trying to use two different deductibles. I asked last year for Rose at Abernathy Insurance to change my auto deductibles and she never did. I checked my policy and I can't see it!! Not just that, when I brought this up to her boss the owner, Mark Abernathy he laughed about it. This isn't funny. I lost a lot of expensive items and Mercury Insurance is trying to not pay all of it. I am seeing too many questionable business practices on both parts. So I filed a complaint with the Insurance Commissioner. I will be canceling my insurance with Mercury Insurance and Abernathy Insurance because of the fraudulent business practices.
