Stopped by to get gift for my 5 year old grandkid. Staff was very helpful in choosing the gift, asking questions what boy likes and taking in account my preferences.

I love to bring my foster niece here - there is nothing like this where she grew up and her eyes light up when she's inside

Super adorable age appropriate gifts that are precious and well made. They have bro's bows which is a kid based company, the nuff book which is about self esteem and really cute old school kids jewelry boxes and books. They have the cute mouses that you can get at Neimans or Nordstrom's and a plethora of adorable toddler clothes. In a shopping center next too adorable home store, coffee shop and yummy catering/ bakery. Definitely worth the stop and support. I did.

Cute store with lots of very expensive clothes and stuffed animals. We took our 1 year old in to pick out a new baby doll and the environment was very stuck up and the shop keeper was snooty. They're more interested in catering to rich old white women and kids don't feel welcome in this kids store. With wonderland toys and childish nearby, I'll never shop here again

I feel compelled to write this review right now. Earlier today my husband attempted to purchase me a Christmas gift from this business and was stopped at the door by an employee and asked if she could assist him. My husband replied "yes, do you have any water dispensers", the employee's response was "sir, we don't serve water to the public". Then she proceeded to tell him that he needed to leave because he looked "scary" and because he was wearing pajama pants. (Mind you my husband was feeling ill today). My husband had thought that this is where I wanted a cute water dispenser, not knowing I meant from the water store down the road. Words were exchanged and my husband did throw around a couple curse words but he was so upset for being treated less than. My husband also thought this was the business I was talking about because I come here all the time to buy my favorite candles. Needless to say I will never give this business a cent and will unfortunately have to get my Rosy Ring candles from somewhere else. This business should be ashamed of themselves for profiling someone just by their appearance.

This is my favorite place to shop for adorable household things I don't actually need but *have* to have once I see them. The shopkeepers have been super helpful every time that I've come in; they are also pet-friendly. I enjoy coming in at the change of the season to see what they've brought in. My mom showed up on a day where they were closed in order to do a seasonal overhaul, and was despondent when she discovered she couldn't buy the present she'd come for. The owner went to fetch the item she was after, and let her pay in cash. Now that's impressive customer service. You may pay a slightly higher price than what you find online, but keep in mind that charming shops cost more to run than warehouses, and don't we love to browse?

Nice selection of fun items. I expect to pay boutique prices here. I do not expect to be treated poorly, but that is what happens at Outside In.

My absolute favorite boutique and gift store over the hill. Certainly beats all that horrible beach traffic clogging up 17. Ugh! I like "Outside-In" because it has variety - Sleepwear/Lingerie, bath products, housewares, seasonal, and more! It is definitely on the higher price end of things. I can find anything that I need from a quick party gift, to utensils, to tablecloths, to coat/hat racks, to even super stylish clothes, handbags, and accessories! Practically, my entire Rosy Rings candle collection comes from this store! It was much better (in terms of customer service, quality of items, frequency of sales, and fair pricing) before the new owners took over. With the new owners, they have occasional "sales." Historically, however, those sales were good; nowadays, they are not so much so. Shannon is a long time sales associate with great taste and who is extremely fun to work with! She always has a pleasant demeanor and is always dressed professionally. Shannon has dark hair and a pretty smile! Everyone else either ignores you or is way too pushy. All in all, wonderful place and great people like Shannon work there, but now, sadly, it's not worth 5 stars.

I love this Gem of a store! It's right up the street from my home and everyone who visits me gets a gift certificate or special gift from Outside In! It has unique and wonderful merchandise . The staff is wonderful and when I walk in they know my name! Fantastic shopping experience, I highly recommend Jennifer E

The toys are very cute and different there but the staff there is a little off putting. One of the staff members in particular, every time I go in with my two girls follows us around like we're going to ruin things. If you're a store for children, maybe try being friendly to the children. My girls don't run around the store or anything, but of course they want to touch things like stuffed animals.

Great discovery. Super friendly staff with incredible variety of toys and gear for kids and babies. Happened to walk in during an event they were holding and it was a great experience. Will be back.

This store is so adorable and convenient! The selection of jewelry/home goods is very unique and eclectic and the prices are reasonable. I love supporting local shops and just moved to the area, I could see myself frequenting this place a couple of times a month if I didn't have such an off first time experience there. I would say over all it was more of a 2.5 star experience because I hate giving locally owned places low reviews I am rounding up to 3 stars. 1 star for the uncomfortable shopping experience. Let me start off by stating that I am a latina and under the age of 35 which I feel had them profile me as a "possible shoplifter". I was having a day to myself to shop, go to the farmers market and get lunch. I had been wanting to check out Outside-In for the past couple of weeks. When I arrived I was promptly greeted (good start of the experience), then as I was looking around the shop one of the older women who worked there was blatantly following me around, not to see if I needed help but to watch me as if I was going to shop lift. It was very very uncomfortable. At first I thought i was being paranoid but then as I went to the back of the store to look at the clothing selection (super cute clothes, lots from Italy- I took my mom to Italy a couple of years ago and was going to buy her an article of clothing from here but decided not to because I did not want to give them my money) she was pretending to "fix" the displays and was just watching me from the corner of her eye and just making her presence known in a way that was not comfortable or welcoming. I understand that shoplifting may be an issue but there are ways of dealing with it without making your customers uncomfortable- also note she was NOT following around the older white women patrons, just me. 5 stars for the product & location! I just saw another Yvette wrote a review about a year ago, this is a totally separate experience from hers and I do not know her but clearly my situation was not an isolated incident and this is an ongoing occurrence. This was my first time here. I really hope management speaks with the staff on this prejudice issue. However I don't think I will be returning anytime soon :(

This is the super awesome kids outlet located right next door (more or less) to it's parents boutique shop which is simply delightful. Unusually for an area business it has a sizeable surface lot for parking. However, the lot is shared with all the other businesses in that strip mall many of which are quite popular. So while there will always be a spot in that lot somewhere, getting to it can be painful. That surface lot isn't laid out well and requires a fair amount of maneuvering not least around the other not always very focused drivers in and around. This is smaller store as far as these things go, but is lovingly stocked with higher quality baby gear and some of the more thoughtful kinds of toys/books for older children. It is a lush shopping destination and it's heavy on STEM items both of which are very welcome things. Service is pretty solid-the clerk/cashier is centrally located-and as this is a smaller space that means they are readily available for any questions you may have without being intrusive. All in all this is a rock solid shopping experience, if a little on the pricey side.
