Great store. A little pricey, but they have great deli food. The key lime pie is a MUST have.

Staff is friendly. I stop by every now and then for lunch. I arrived just as they were taking away breakfast and bringing in lunch. It was good food. Only spent $4.26 for a salad, a couple of swedish meatballs, some stuffing, sweet potato and chicken. Hot food bar has many options, and they charge you by weight.

Overwhelmed! If you prefer Costco’s food-good for you, go to Costco. More New Leaf for us! I’ll make the pilgrimage to Aptos/Capitola from Carmel every two weeks to enjoy the area and stock up at New Leaf. Nothing comparable near us!
For more than 30 years New Leaf Community Markets has been making important choices that nourish and sustain our Central Coast communities. We opened our doors as a small cooperative in 1985 on the Westside of Santa Cruz. Now, 5 community-hub grocery stores later, we remain true to our progressive roots and good for the community ethos. We know that the well-being of our customers, staff and community starts with sustainable, locally produced food. Protecting and bettering our environment depends on the same. Farm-to-table all the way. That's why you'll find so much California-grown natural, organic food sustainably produced by farmers, ranchers and fishers in our stores. Much of it from within 100 miles! That's how local local is for us
