Nice neighborhood nursery with a wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants, including succulents. Plus they have seasonal gifts, horticultural books and gardening supplies. At this time of year they also carry Christmas trees.

Great plants, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fun gifts, reasonable prices. What more could you want. The doves and garden cat are nice extra touches!

Very, very nice employees and a lovely Christmas decor selection. Bought two Nordmann Fir Christmas trees and they are not yet dried out or dropping needles. I'll come back here for plants, too. It's so nice to shop local!

Nice garden store. Clean and lots of variety. They sell Christmas trees here during Christmas. They have a cute gift shop in front and the nursery is in the back. Succulents, trees, citrus, and more sold here!

This place is HORRIBLY EXPENSIVE!I was over-seeding my lawn in Aptos and needed more peat moss. I had purchased two, 3.0 cubic foot, bags at the 41st Ave Home Depot earlier in the day at just under $20.00 per bag. I thought I would save some gas and time stopping at DIG Gardens in Aptos to pick up another bag. They had a 3.2 cubic foot bag of the exact same brand and I was quoted over $50 plus tax. No thank you!I also recently bought some rosemary and thyme at this Aptos location and later saw the same size herbs at Home Depot for less than half the price.I prefer to patronize the smaller local businesses, but thats not going to happen when they charge TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY PERCENT MORE than the big box stores!Don't waste your time stopping at DIG Gardens. You'll get taken to the cleaners!

I was the only non white customer there. I needed soil but really like to walk around and check everything out before I grab what I need. Since the space is really quite pretty. I walked past one employee who stared at me. Then most of the employees just watched me as I walked around. As I came back around another employee stopped me and asked me if I needed anything it wasn't in the friendliest tone either. I said nope, I grabbed my soil and paid. Really felt awkward....this isn't the first time I've really felt these vibes at this location. Pretty unfortunate.

rude, white, staff...but that's Aptos and Santa Cruz for you. The plants are nice but very expensive. its disappointing, as an Asian person, to see the amount of appropriation of Asian culture in the products. Why are white people selling Japanese tea pots, Buddha statues, Pacific Islander and Asian inspired cookbooks and plant baskets, etc ??? Maybe focus on selling things from Europe unless you're gong to credit the origins. White people always take from our culture and it's really frustrating because they don't care about us as people. It's trendy when white people do the same things Asian, Pacific Islander, Black and African American, Hispanic, and Native American people do. Lots of anti maskers who work here too, but like I said that's most of the white people from Santa Cruz county.

I took some leaves in to have them examined for a tree that wasnt doing well. They sold me a $40 bottle of spray to use on the tree. It did not work so I went back with the leaves again and was told that the tree had a fungus and that the lady had sold me the wrong thing, I asked if I could get a credit since they sold me the wrong thing and she said no. Anyways I bought a new bottle for another $40 and it did improve. another time I bought two plants both of which died within a week. Because of the first bad experience I decided to take the plant back and to show it to them, and the girl told me they don't take dead plants back and that I should get it out of there. . I have never experienced such rudeness from a local company. .

Wide variety of plants with excellent service and advice if needed. The parking lot could be bigger.
