Always helpful staff to help find anything you need. Literally the opposite of the big box stores where you have to walk around in hopes of finding someone to help. Different business strategies but I sure like having the quick and easy help when I need it! I definitely always recommend Ace for the lesser experienced DIYer.

Selection: GoodValue: GoodService: TerribleI ordered two bags of birdseed on the phone. They were listed on the Ace Hardware website @ $35.99 each. The bags of seed were shipped to the store, where my husband picked them up. However, he was charged $41.99 per bag - a total of $12.00 too much! I checked the website again after he got home. The seed was still listed at $35.99. When I phoned the store to ask for a refund of that amount, instead of just crediting it to our VISA card (which my husband used to pay for the seed), the clerk said we would have to come into the store to be repaid. This is inconvenient - and terrible service!

Awhile it's a small store they have a wide array of items. The store was short staffed, and I had a bit of a wait to get some keys copied. But otherwise as expected for an Ace.
