One of the long-standing "traditional" style hardware stores in the Santa Cruz area. They always seem to have sufficient help that is ready to offer assistance.

Always helpful staff to help find anything you need. Literally the opposite of the big box stores where you have to walk around in hopes of finding someone to help. Different business strategies but I sure like having the quick and easy help when I need it! I definitely always recommend Ace for the lesser experienced DIYer.
