Walgreens is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They kept me on hold for 25 minutes, then someone picks up and then hung up on me. I called again kept me on hold for 20 minutes. Then they answer and a man answers the phone and was so rude. Yes I told him about the long wait just to talk to someone. I told him Walgreens sucks and he said yes we suck welcome to the transfer. And he deleted my husband's prescription after I told him I will pay the $67.00 even though we never had to pay that much for prescriptions. My husband has Tri care and Medicare. Looking for a decent pharmacy. Nether had a problem with Rite aid but they closed the one near me. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

i called from a doctors office, they put me on hold immediately. i was on hold for well over 40 min. i was so upset that they just keep putting me on hold i was unable to call in the rx. i had to call the patient back and explain to them that they did not help me at all. this is the worst place ever. the patient said they have been going down hill and now i believe him. i would not bother with this wall greens. they obviously do not know what they are doing.

Walgreens, 201 Main St Gloucester. I shopped this store onFriday, April 3rd at 3:05 pm. I read in a Walgreens press release that their stores were all fully stocked and they were enforcing limits on how many items customers could purchase of hard to find/essential products such as cleaning supplies: disinfecting and sanitizing products such as bleach, alcohol, as well as disinfecting wipes, toilet paper etc. l also read that Walgreens was doing everything they could to promote social distancing and safety for the workers and customers. THIS COULDN'T BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH! Not only were shelves completely empty in some aisles, there were no signs indicating limits on anything. A woman in front of me had her wheeled cart filled with 8 containers of bleach wipes, at least 10 bottles of 60% alcohol (I noticed because I looked for some myself - too late that shelf was empty) a lot of boxes of tissues and multiple packs of toilet paper. This was one person! As for social distancing: there are no marks on the floor, walls, signs, aisles to keep customers 6' apart. There's an attempt in the pharmacy area for those in line but customers were less than 3' apart. Nothing in the rest of the store including the front checkout area. The workers were next to the registers, with a very narrow counter. Six INCHES to one foot apart from the customer checking out. Except for the pharmacist, (who was behind a high counter, which is behind a plexiglass wall/window) none of the staff wore any type of protective equipment and there was NO hand sanitizer out. When I inquired the cashier said they were sold out and she went to the employee bathroom to wash her hands. There wasn't a way to pay without touching the credit card machine; I had to touch the number keys and the pen. Again no sanitizer available for cashier or myself. The cashier then coughed INTO HER HAND, wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and continued handling my purchases and bagging them. I gave her my own personal sanitizer I have clipped to my keychain. Three cashiers were ringing purchases up, bagging, handling money at 3 counters; two are right next to each other. None had protective masks or gloves, none had hand sanitizer. The manager, a young woman named Farrah I believe, stood by and observed. When I approached her to ask about safety measures, social distancing, hand sanitizer etc she said they were doing everything they've been told to do "by corporate" and "didn't have to do anything else" then turned her back to me as I was trying to speak - I then asked for a phone number, perhaps "corporate" as she said that's where her instructions cane from. She looked over her shoulder as she walked away, laughed and told me "find it yourself, good luck!" I'm appalled by what is not being done at this particular Walgreens and I've had to warn everyone not to shop there until they've made significant changes. I am hopeful Walgreens looks closely at this location and this manager receives training on customer service and how to be a good manager. Or a manager at all.

Medications often out of stock, false calls telling you your medications are ready and once you drive all the way up there they tell you they are not ready yet and they insult your intelligence by saying " we don't do the calling the computer does" the staff in general is very rude in every possible way drive thru service is very slow. I've only had one good experience there in 10 years I was helped by a lady in the photo department and she didn't even relate to what I needed, now I wish I'd got her name to mention her, every other experience in the pharmacy department has always been terrible.

At the beginning of the year my health insurance changed and that meant the Pharmacy I used to use was no longer covered, only the "Corporate" Pharmacies are. I chose Walgreens due to its proximity to my house. Huge mistake! Only had to go for 2 months already my medications are not getting filled because this location, and apparently all of them up in the High Desert have completely run out of a medication that I have taken for over 10 years! I cannot wait to change my pharmacy! They have treated me and my husband with rudeness and disrespect, do not recommend this company if you like to receive your medications timely! Rudest people ever!

I like this Walgreens because it is close to me, of course! The store always seems to be pretty stocked with what I'm looking for. I LOVE their rewards program! I constantly get to check out with my free $5! Shopping there isn't the cheapest... BUT if you wait for the ads and other manufactured coupons, you can get some PRETTY cool deals! Especially if you clip them digitally on their website! As long as you make sure they are added on your Balance Rewards Card. The staff for the MOST part are VERY kind and friendly! I have only run across a FEW sour employees... but for the most part they are very welcoming! Also their photo dept. does a GREAT job with pictures!

If you are picking up a prescription, be prepared to spend a minimum of fifteen minutes , that's just to talk to someone. The drive through is horrible.

By far the worst store to pick up prescriptions. Today is my last day spending a penny in this store. No matter what you do to make the process quicker the people who work in this Pharmacy do not care to make it an easy experience. They are always in the back talking personal stuff instead of helping people in line. Today the lady tells me to go to the cashier, the lady at the cashier says "I'll be right with you" without ever making eye contact then leaves the register and doesn't return. I get back in line only to end up back with her again. Rude non caring person should not be working with the public. Took longer than it should have because the one pharmacist was busy chit chatting on the phone instead of putting the call on hold and clearing the meds so I can pay and leave. Very non caring....no sense of urgency and snappy instead of apologetic for all the delays they act like this is normal and too bad if the line has so many people waiting. Will never step foot in his store again.

Horrible photo department. I waited over an hour for a total of 38 photos. Once the prints came out she had her hands all over them. Excuse me but I don't want finger prints all over my photos.

Above and beyond the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No other explanation for the pharmacy staff except pure laziness. Rite Aid is on the next corner, save yourself the headache and frustration and turn into their driveway instead.

Pharmacy customer service is rude and not helpful, would not refill because I did not know my exact old address from 13 years ago, they should ask for ID to verify your name. I felt like she did not want to work, I will gladly take my refill somewhere else.

Well another bad experience. These girls at the pickup window give you false times for picking up your orders. Not a couple minutes we are talking hours! You may want to try the local Rite Aid.

I ordered canvas prints at this store, I called to check on the order. The girl named Mandy answer the phone in the photo department asked for my name, The order number and several other questions but said she cannot find my order. Kept telling me to call other stores in the area to be sure that it went to their store. I gave her the address of her store she confirmed it told I was calling her on the number on my receipt but nothing seems to phase her she kept telling me they didn't have it and acted like I was paranoid because I said I ordered it online I've never had this problem before. She said they'd never had this problem before acted like I was lying.I called corporate lady there took my information, and she called Apple Valley and To my amazement order magically appeared be careful if you order things over the Internet to the store it's not their priority.

When it works right the automatic refills are great.
