Didn't rush me out like others have done in the past. Took his time to listen. So kind and professional. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking and office is spotless. I recommend him 110%

Dr. Shahati is absolutely one of the worst doctors I have ever been to! I had a horrible colon infection (C Diff) that was leaving me very sick and having to go to the bathroom constantly. He made me wait TWO MONTHS for my results and treatment because he wanted to talk to me about it personally and he would only do it with another appointment. He could have just called me on the phone and gave me the medication after getting my results back like every other doctor, but he wanted to do it through appt only, which was only available two months later. It wasn't until I looked up, and went to an infectious disease specialist because the meds he prescribed didn't work, that I found out how serious C Diff actually is. He made me suffer that whole time. He also tried to tell me that I had a thyroid disease even though I told him I was tested for that a few months ago and it came back negative. He said I was living in denial! So, I had a full thyroid panel test a year later, and it came back fully normal; completely functional. Praise God. Don't let doctors try to tell you your own symptoms when you know what you're feeling. I would choose a different doctor. One who actually listens and will give you treatment.

Nurses are the real hero's. Dr. Dutta has no respect for your feelings. He practically scolded me for not knowing about my body and was not fully paying attention like he had something else on his mind while doing his job. Sorry I didn't take 10 years of medical school.... I understand these doctors see thousands of patients but you do not treat a new patient like this. Especially a patient in distress. Do not make an appointment with him.

Being a new patient, during the epidemic, I really expected a half-assed appointment, as my other tele-appts have been tantamount to throwing money at a passing train. But Dr. Shahatit was a pleasant surprise. He was thorough, he listened, had great feedback and insights, and is definitely one of the best doctors that I have seen up here- both in-office or otherwise. Highly recommend. There may be a wait, but it's well worth it.

Very poor medical services, terrible communication, and lack of compassion from every staff member. Dr. Shahatit walks in the room of every appointment CLUELESS, like how hard is it to review a patients chart before coming in. They always claim that they will call you with results, updates etc. and NEVER DO.

Dr. Shahatit is hard to get an appointment with. His schedule gets booked up then they won't schedule anything else beyond a certain date. So I ended up seeing not the doctor, but the Nurse Practitioner, Lourdes "Patty" Mejia, about my fast emerging foot pain. She was disappointing. Right off the bat she failed to inspire confidence with her low, droning, almost resentful tone of voice (like Milton from Office Space). So, I've done plenty of research trying to understand my foot pain, and have concluded that it's likely plantar fasciitis, which is what Dr. Shahatit previously hypothesized. So I really just needed a referral to a foot specialist. But Patty asked me to describe the problem, then half-listened to my response while typing keywords into the computer to get automated diagnosis suggestions. Problem is, she kept interrupting me and not letting me speak so she missed many important details of the problem. That meant the keywords she used were too limited, which I believe caused her diagnosis to go astray, saying it might be bone spurs. But bone spurs would cause persistent pain, whereas my problem starts as a tightness at the back of my heel when I first walk, which eventually loosens up as I walk. I got the feeling she was shooting in the dark rather than listening attentively and applying any sort of medical expertise. She almost seemed unfamiliar with plantar fasciitis and how it manifests. She finally wrote up a referral for a foot x-ray and a podiatrist visit, but getting there was frustrating. She asked if there's anything else, so I explained that I had been there before with a long list of medical issues, for which Dr. Shahatit had ordered several tests, and I still had not been informed of the test results. She looked it over and noted 3 things that were outside normal range in my blood test. So, I said, what about the other tests? All those tests correspond to symptoms I had been experiencing, so if the tests came back negative, we still need to investigate the cause of the symptoms. She acted very confused by this, saying, "I don't understand what you're asking." I rephrased, that if the tests were negative, then the causes of my symptoms are still unclear and require further investigation. Instead of looking at the notes from my prior visit (which you'd think she would do before speaking to me), she was asking me, "Which symptoms?" but there was a whole list of things, so its far easier to read the list than expect me to recall everything off the top of my head. She finally reviewed the old notes, then told me she didn't have time to talk about it all- that 3 issues was my limit for the day, and I'd need to make another appointment to discuss the rest. WTF? It's nearly impossible to get an appointment to begin with! We're both here, so let's do this now! Nope. Then, I informed her I needed a Tuburculosis test, which is a common work requirement. Sorely, this office did not have the TB shot available, which they are supposed to. They referred me to the other office on Hesperia Road. After she left, I was wrapping up with a nurse when Patty popped back in to say, "I realized I never examined your foot!" Yeah, no kidding. You're not doing your job very well! I later found that Patty had failed to order prescriptions we'd discussed, including a vitamin D supplement and something for my foot pain, whether medication or a specialized boot. Vitamin D is available OTC but a prescription would have been free to me. My pharmacist said all she ordered was Prilosec for my acid reflux, which I told her I already controlled with Tums, and I didn't want to get dependent on medications if it's not necessary. Discussing root causes like diet never even occurred to her; I had to drag the discussion there and she gave it only brief lip service then still wrote the Prilosec prescription and forgot the other ones. She proposed an abdominal x-ray to investigate my acid reflux, which occurs in the chest. T
