This Vet doesn’t care about you or your animal all they care about is money, they charge 2x the average of any other vet before you know it you’ll be out $500-1000 and they still won’t have a answer for you. From someone who lost a fur child due to this place please do not take your baby here

My Lab, Jesse, is black and weighs 93-1/2 lbs. He was bitten by something out in the yard and was not doing good. I took him to AV Animal Hospital and between Dr Salzer and Dr. Jessen and his helpers, Jesse is doing good. Jesse had a very good time there.

Great place to bring your pets but one of the staff up front was very rude about me bringing my cat in there with my other ? just be more professional when you talk to a customer about your cat and that dogs will attack the cat very rude ? girl

We recently got a Doxie puppy and took him to this animal hospital for his first round of vaccinations. Kim did his vaccinations and also a complimentary nail trimming since our little Frodo was a new patient. I was in and out fairly quickly. Overall, I was pleased with the experience and looking forward to going back to this facility in the future with both of my pets.

They deny people’s applications to adopt and would rather out the animal down instead.

I went to this hospital to put my fur baby to rest, and the staff is so very nice. On the phone they were nice and in their facility they were nice. Great place.

I brought my newly adopted kitten Mona in for his first free checkup. I'm new to the area and recently had a not great experience with another veterinary hospital with emergency treatment for my other cat, so I was apprehensive.
Dr. Selzer is kind, caring, took her time with Mona and my millions of questions. She even gave me some advice for my other cat that I'll be bringing in for his yearly exam and vaccinations.
Rachel, the tech is very sweet, thoughtful and was kind to Mona. She took great notes and was helpful finding all sorts of information and referrals needed for my other cat.
The young gentleman at the front desk, I think his name is Joe, is very professional, courteous and has great customer service skills.
I'm sooooo glad I found this place, I'll be coming here for all my pets needs for as long as I live here.

I'm a low income person and taking my cats to the vet is always hard on my finances. My usual vet wasn't available so I looked high and low for someone who could see them. Finally after spending the day looking for a vet with available appointments I found Apple Valley Animal Hospital. I was thrilled. Had to drive 45 minutes to get there, but my cats are worth it to me. The first thing I noticed was that I had to pay $150. Just to walk in the door. I thought it would go towards the visit, but no. My appointment was at 5:00, but they didn't see me until well after 6:00. Figured that they were busy, so I didn't worry too much about that. When I finally saw the vet he looked them over and said he wanted to do X-rays and blood work. I asked how much that would be and he said the front office would give me an estimate. Well, they came in with the paperwork with the estimate. $575.00. I knew it would mean a hungry month for me, but I had just enough money to cover it. After counting out the money I was told that it was $575.00 EACH. I could not afford that. When I told them that it was decided that they would give them medicine and hope for the best. I thought that would be good. When I went to pay for the medicine it was over $300. While the office staff and Doctor were kind and considerate the prices were not. If you aren't rich you don't want to go there. My usual vet doesn't charge nearly so much.
