“I came to Ark Pet Hospital after a very challenging experience with another vet regarding a health certificate for my dog so we could travel to Costa Rica (we were sent back to California twice in one week because the health certificate was done incorrectly... both times).

Ark was incredible from the initial phone call to the issuing of the final health certificate.
They had wonderful processes, were incredibly thorough, and confirmed with the USDA for the endorsement that everything was done correctly.

“My almost 13 year-old dachshund terrier mix was very thin and not eating or drinking. After a four visit to the ER I needed a follow up veterinarian. All the others that I called that were local to me had waiting lists of 3 to 4 weeks. I called Abbey Vet Hospital And they were able to see me the next day. They also were very reasonable and cost versus the other ones that I had to wait. Dr. Penta is very pleasant and understanding. She did a check of Pepper and renewed my prescriptions for peppers, blood pressure and saline solution.

Though I did not have the blood work up and results from the ER visits, the doctor and her staff were able to get that information and print out a copy for me.

A week later I called because I was concerned about Pepper‘s weight loss still and left a message. I received a call back and was told that a recheck was free. So I made an appointment for the next day.

Though the drive is 45 minutes each way for me I felt it was worth it. The care and the consideration of the veterinary hospital is Warm and personal.”

“I’ve been coming here for a few years now and all the doctors are compassionate, full of knowledge, & have only expressed the best options/recommendations for us. The vet techs are so sweet with my dogs, My pit can be very anxious but she knows she’s in good hands when she sees her vet techs come out to greet her (as do I).

I’ve always had the best help with the ladies in the front desk since I’ve been coming here until recently. I understand the pressure that comes with customer service and front office work which they all handle with grace. The past few visits I seem to get the same person on the phone who on a few occasions was very unhelpful to the situation. Clearly there had been a miscommunication, rather than finding another option she continued to be dismissive. She did this in person for the 3rd time after either rescheduling our appointment for the 2nd time incorrectly, or giving me the incorrect information. we’re all human, we make mistakes (including myself), but being combative/dismissive and making the client feel like they’re a liar is not good customer service and definitely not helpful for people coming in already concerned for their pets.

I’ve never had this experience with the front desk before, I’ve also never dealt with this person before. Usually I speak to the same women who I have nothing but kind words for.

I will always recommend this clinic to friends & family in need of an honest, affordable and professional clinic for their fur companions. One person who doesn’t like their job shouldn’t deter you from an entire facility of great people.”

“Dr. MALONEY and STAFF. Are beyond compassionate, carring and very knowledgeable about their clients. I have been going there for years. I TRUST all decisions he mutually makes with me. He helped me keep my Basil healthy and comfortable for her almost 18 years. Unfortunately I had to put her down yesturday.

The technician was very good as well. Gave me a thorough run down of the checkup and good information about the procedures and services. “We took our 3 year old dog to this practice since they were the only one open late. She had swallowed a long piece of fabric from a toy. Time is of the essence when dogs swallow something as you have to get them to vomit it up before it moves to the intestines. The doctor worked quickly and gave our dog some eye drops that made her vomit the fabric up. The charge seemed quite reasonable and the staff friendly and professional. We will definitely use them again. Great experience overall.”
