I have been a customer for over 20 years. We started out renting our equipment. We then purchased the triple osmosis system to filter our drinking water and refrigerator dispensing system. We are so please what a difference that made. Our water is delicious that it’s the only water we drink. We then purchased the a new system to filter our entire home. We would love it. Our experience with the customer service has been superior, Thus we have been satisfied customer for over 20 years. I don’t give this review lightly. I take my vendor relationship very seriously and will fire a vendor that does not meet my very high standard in the blink of an eye.

IF I COULD... I WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO! This is a subcontracted location... it is not Ecowater it is a authorized retailer if you will... this is actually Success water systems. but BUYER BEWARE!!! Customer service is HORRIBLE! I called and spoke to Anna after not hearing back from the rep I had been talking to. Willing to give the benefit of the doubt I simply asked for her to reach out to the rep incase for some reason they didn't receive my calls/texts. She did NOT listen to me at all and then put me on hold & "supervisor" Ashleigh in the call center came on the line. She was awful! She was rude and completely unprofessional. She did not listen to me, never once apologized, and made it clearly evident that earning my business meant nothing to her. After having a conversation with Ashleigh and getting no where, I was fed up with her insulting my intelligence so I asked for the name of their president and she would only give me his first name. I asked for his last name and she said she would NOT give that personal information to me. I then asked for his contact # and she said she would not give that out. So I then asked to please be transferred to his voicemail and she said I am not able to do that. (BULL$hit!) I then said "maybe I will contact the Better Business Bureau" and she said "Sure you go ahead and do that!" Completely appalling! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! There's a reason why there's so many bad reviews! I even called and spoke to the Ecowater central California office and turns out success water systems only has two Costco areas. The rest is all Ecowater corporate. Ecowater is good but these guys who cover this specific area is awful! Costco needs to know about this subcontracted office!

I would provide less than a 1 but it wouldn't let me. The customer service from the very beginning is less than professional. The office staff is in need of etiquette training, they are extremely rude always cutting off concerns and don't listen to the customer . The sales person was pushy and disrespectful after I questioned her plans for our service location which ended up costing us more than necessary. Although maintenance representative is pleasant, each annual maintenance cost has been beyond what I would consider reasonable pricing and will look for other options

We had another water service come to service our soft water. He changed a few filters but before it was over,he was mentioning resin problems, possible tank replacement and soft water not coming into the house(possibly 100's of dollars). We had seen an ECO service truck in the complex and gave them a call. Ernest Martinez was the ECO man that came out. He tested the water, looked @ tanks, and found everything ok..NO CHARGE...WE have found our water company..Ernest was thorough, professional and informative.

Dear Rob Kinslow, I bought a Water Softener and a Reverse Osmosis from your company at Ecowater in Brentwood California and this is what your customers go through.. 1. It makes me angry when I call a company to set-up a repair - maintenance appointment and they do not show-up, making you wait all day. 2. It makes me angry when I would have to call their office numerous times, because the " REPAIR MAN" has not arrived, AFTER WAITING ALL DAY and then ask you to "Re-schedule", knowing you are at their "Mercy" with a broken water system. It happened last year too! ..must be the company's culture....NO FOLLOW-UP OR COURTESY CALL. 3. It makes me even angrier, when I have to "TAKE - OFF" work for 2 DAYS , whenever I make an appointment for " Repair or Maintenance", because they always have to re-schedule.. They do not care about inconveniencing their customers. 7. It makes me angry that I have to write this complaint, because it happens every time I have to make an appointment with them due to EQUIPMENT FAILURE OR BREAKDOWN. I understand that company's sometimes over book their drivers, but not calling the customers to let them know their status, or making you wait all day, just to tell you that the Repair Man is not going to show - up is unacceptable. BAD - BAD - customer service...They were on time when they SOLD me the system....figure!

They have no business ethics what so ever! We called to have our system checked because it was not working. They cancelled on us three times to show up the fourth time to realize they didn't have the part!!! Their excuses for having to reschedule on the appointments were: 1) First time tech called an hour before he was scheduled to come out as being sick 2) Second and third time: they were not going to be in the area Their salesperson was here when he sold it and assured us when we purchased this water system it would not ever be an issue to come out for repairs if needed! Not True at all!! The corporate representatives give excuses that because they "are only in your area every few months" clearly no exception is made for REPAIRS on their OWN UNITS!!! So customers have to wait for repairs when it is convenient for the company NOT FOR THE CONSUMER!!! The so called management stated she was apologizing for the inconvenience on behalf of the company when she felt she shouldn't have!! SHE WAS THE EXACT REPRESENTATION OF HOW THIS COMPANY REALLY IS!! IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT AND WHO CARES IT HAS TO BE CONVENIENT FOR THE COMPANY NOT THE CONSUMER!!! If the conversation is one of complaint they begin to accuse a person of yelling at them!!! They only want to deal with happy customers yet they don't want to please a customer!! IT WAS BAD ENOUGH WE HAD TO CALL TO SCHEDULE OUR SERVICE THEN THEY ACT AS IF THEY CONTACTED US FOR OUR YEARLY SERVICE!!! THIS IS A COMPANY THAT SHOULD NOT BE IN THE MARKET!!!!

They service my tank like clockwork and I never have any problems. I can tell the difference in my water after having their installation. I never want to be with regular tap water again!

I received a call from Eco Water saying it was time for my annual maintenance check on my water softener system. They told me it would cost $124.00 just to have them come out. I decided to call them back the following day and remind them that last year I only paid $35.00 for this charge. They were only willing to reduce it to $80.00. I decided to have them come and do it because even though it was more then last year they did reduce the charge. I don't like the fact that if I hadn't called them back they would have charged me more. I was very upset because they had told me they would come between 2 and 5 and when it was 5 they still hadn't shown up. I called the office but they closed at 5. Around 7 they called and said that he had tried calling me numerous times and he couldn't reach me. Strange! When he did show up, it was dark and he had to borrow our flashlight! I would have preferred for him to come back during the day when he could see what he was doing. He gave us the paperwork and it said that he replaced a part. He never even mentioned it to us before handing us the bill. If you are thinking about putting in a water softener system, find another company. They have lousy customer service.

I set up a service with EcoWater at the beginning of the year - 2010. I was told when they came out to set up my soft water system that my current tank was not working properly, and I should pay to have the system removed, and have a new system installed. I agreed and they installed a new stem line into our home and replaced our tank with a less then pretty, aluminum/metal tank that they would now replace monthly (unlike my other tank, where you just added salt solutions each month). I was told that as they did not have a record of how much water I used that they would be checking back to ensure we had the right size tank for our home. After the first month of service, I was still not getting soft water to all the water faucets and when my service man came, I asked to have it reviewed. I was told that sometimes if there is build up in the pipes, it may take sometime before the soft water works it way through the home. hm... okay. After the second month, we were still not getting soft water to all the rooms in our home. This time we called in and and asked to have someone come out between the visit and we were told that it was still clearing out. The following month we mentioned it to the service man again, and the month after that and the month after that, and the month after that. At the 5month point, we called back in between visits and asked to have a senior rep or owner contact us. The owner did not return our call but sent someone out to "test" our set up. He stated that our water heater must be going out and causing issues. We serviced the heater, which was under warranty, no issue there. It turns out that the value they set up 6 months prior, was faulty. It was replaced and we started to receive soft water through the home within a week. We contacted the office to discuss a refund of monthly billing as we were not getting the service we paid for. They offered to "split the difference with us" . We told them that we did not think it was a fair offer, and they told per their records that we only called in about our problem twice, that they could not prove we have not been getting the service for the full 6 months. hmmmmmm ??? so speaking directly to the rep who was physically in my home did not count? Apparently not. They could not 'prove' and neither could we, that for a solid 6 month period no soft water was getting to our rooms and this was the best they would offer. Is this what customer service has come to? WOW.

I was an ecowater customer for years and I'm very disappointed in their service. Trying to get a refund over 3 month has cause me to write this review. I wasn't thrilled with signing up in the first place, but my wife thought it was important. Here are my main issues: 1) If they come by and cannot deliver (garage locked, path blocked, etc.), you don't get a note or a follow up, they just skip you. Though they are happy to bill you. 2) I got a faulty tank that blew the cap off the top. It spewed water and whatever orange stuff they use for softening all over my garage. Onto a ping pong table, behing my fridge and water heater. They have no night time emergency number. And when they finally came out, they just replaced the tank. No clean up. When I complained that they basically ruined my ping pong table, I got a months credit. Yippee. 3) After finally cancelling, I forgot I had autopay set up. It went for months before I caught it. When I finally figured it out, I called them and they said I had $100 credit. I just placed my 4th phone call and I was promised it's "in the mail" this morning. I was told 7 weeks ago is was being processed that morning. Not a good service.

Bottom line is: they will call you and send you multiple postcards throughout the year to remind you to "condition" your water softner. So we finally gave in and said OK. Well, the work done was 15 minutes, they charged me $90 for labor, $35 for travel, and $25 for parts. For 15 minutes of work at a total of $150, well, in this ecomony, I'm glad my one day's pay is equivalent to somebody's 15 minutes of work. It's ridiculous. I will never get my water softner conditioned again.
