Very friendly staff, and extremely knowledgeable.
I brought in a vacuum cleaner a couple of times for repair.
On the third time, a tiny part broke off that he immediately knew he couldn't get.
I told him I bought the vacuum cleaner from Costco, like 3 years ago, and he told me they would take it back, and that they could find my the purchase on my Costco card.
I really thought he was messing with me, but they ACTUALLY DID.
Costco gave me the money back on a gift card, and I got a new vacuum cleaner, same price, basically for free.
This is officially my go to place for vacuum cleaner repairs.

So thankful that there are still local businesses like this around! I brought in our Shark vacuum that is about 12 years old and wasn't working properly. Mike not only diagnosed the problem and repaired it, he gave our vacuum a total cleaning as well. It looked like brand new when I picked it up! Great repair and exceptional customer service!! I won't go anywhere else for vacuum repair or purchase! I highly recommend Mike and Delta Vacuum & Sewing Center!

Sign said open until 6pm. I went in at 345pm. No one around. Finally a gentleman comes out from the back back and says. "So you knew we were closed and you just walked on in?" Apparently the sign also said Closed yet the hours posted said 6pm. Gates were partially closed leaving one door unobstructed. That door was unlocked. Very rude. Won't be returning there anytime soon.

I have purchased different sewing machines and sergers from Mike. He knows his products and is great in his pricing. He goes the extra mile for sure. He is running solo now and is so busy. You need to factor in your time for him to do what he needs to do. I would say he is the best in Contra Costa County!

I‘ve been going to this store for over 20 years and they never disappoint. Their repair service is great and they also sell the best vacuums. You will never feel pressured to buy and they provide honest opinions on the products sold.

The type of personal service and expertise that's all but died out. We're lucky to have this gem locally. You won't be sold something you don't need and for our particular vacuum issue, they fixed it while we waited. We learned it was a simple belt and brush change. Saved us from getting a new vacuum, which always seems the easier way out, though expensive way out. I paid less than eating at McDonalds. All because I was told the truth and had the issue explained to me in detail. You CAN buy vacuums here if you are shopping for one. Try local first!

I have a 1932 Singer and he always takes great care in handling and repairing it. I have been going here for all of my sewing and vacuum needs since 2010 and he has done quality work on my machines ever single time.

I was nervous about getting my vacuum fixed because of the cost. But I didn't need to worry it turns out. Had a great experience here and wonderful service. The owner is so kind and professional, I will definitely be returning.
