As someone who has frequented Barnes & Noble for book purchases growing up, my recent visit to this store located on the border of Antioch and Brentwood was a familiar and comforting experience. The store maintains its reputation for cleanliness and organization, providing a pleasant environment for browsing and shopping. The staff, as always, were attentive and helpful in helping me find what I needed, as well as readily assisting with inquiries and recommendations. However, it's hard not to notice the growing trend of online shopping encroaching upon brick-and-mortar stores like Barnes & Noble. While I understand the convenience and value offered by online platforms such as Amazon, there's something special about the tactile experience of browsing shelves and discovering new reads in person. Despite the challenges posed by evolving shopping habits, Barnes & Noble continues to stand as a reliable destination for book lovers seeking a traditional bookstore experience.

Great place to go for reading and educational material. The people are nice. But... If you research your book online and reserve it or ask for the online price when you're at the cash register many times it's cheaper

Can't write a review for the bookstore, it was more like the Starbucks inside the store. Came here for a meet and greet. The baristas were nice and the drinks were tasty. I love reading, so I'll be back to visit the actual bookstore next time!

This is the only bookstore in this area and I want to keep it!!! I make sure every holiday especially during Christmas, I buy from Barnes and Noble locally! I support local businesses as it is. Ever since Covid, I did get used to ordering on Amazon because of the convenience, but we need to get back into the stores to support our locally owned businesses, so we have something to shop at later! The stores have all been decimated due to the ease of Amazon, etc. My heart dropped when the clerk told me they will be closing soon! BUT then he said they are reopening in Brentwood at the Brentwood mall and it will be bigger even! So I am glad for that! It was disheartening as he was checking my books out that a group of girls/women (and they did not even look like crooks but normal average girls!) just walked out with items under their coats I guess as the alarm rang! They did stop to answer the clerk who rushed out but wouldn't show anything and continued to walk and wouldn't let the clerks near them. At least they tried to stop them courteously and respectfully, but in these cases it does no good because there are no consequences unfortunately. So they must be experiencing losses from theft, and prices are really passed along to us as honest customers. There was a GRINCH Operation game that was 42.00 YIKES-wait til after Christmas they were 50% off which is more reasonable! Anyway, I will do my part to support a local Barnes and Noble because overall I enjoy what they have to offer and I want a local bookstore to browse. I enjoy my kids going to the children's section and playing there and finding their special book! In fact, I ended up buying a BRIO train set for my little one who was playing there and loved their setup of a table with train set in the children's play area. She loves going there as my other children before her-it was our special time! The older ones still love to go, but now they also get a Starbuck's treat as well and study there occasionally. So many good memories that you just don't get by buying through Amazon! SUPPORT local businesses like Barnes and Noble!

Excellent place to catch up on ur reading. I often stop by and scan the shelves in search of a good read. And with the starbucks inside, early Saturdays are the best time to grab coffee and a book.

Staff has always been helpful. I would give 5 stars but they took all the chairs out. Where do I sit to check out a book before I buy it?

I wish B&N came back better. It's sad that there's no places to go that attract intellectual mixing as such anymore.

Every person who works here is so kind. I was excited to do the pickup in-store feature for a new release today. Always a great place to just walk around and enjoy the vibe.
