Took my truck to A1 trans. Have my transmission rebuilt. As soon as I got my truck drove it there was a problem already. Down shift rough. Brought it back, got it after a week. Still getting the same problem. I will bring the truck back for the third time. They have good reviews, what’s going on? I don’t want to give bad reviews but third time not acceptable.

I have been taking my cars here for 20 years and have had family and friends take their vehicles here. Alex is a wizard of a mechanic! Prices are fair and the shop is ran like a well oiled machine.

I can't say enough good things about Alex at A-1 Transmission. I brought my daughter's car in because I thought the transmission was going out. Alex did a diagnostic on it and found out that wasn't the problem. He recommended another shop that could fix the car and he didn't even charge me for the diagnostic test. He also transported the car to the new repair shop for me! Alex, thank you so much for all your help, your honesty and your integrity. Highly recommend this company!

Very pleased with service performed on my vehicle and Alex's customer service. SUV runs a lot smoother. No clunks, problem was fixed in timely manner and reasonably priced, 1/2 the cost of dealership services! Will be a returning customer if issues arise with my vehicle. Great service and extremely knowledgeable staff. I took in my Jeep Liberty in for a transmission flush. Alex was extremely helpful and did a great job. I have noticed substantial improvement while driving after taking it to A-1 transmission for service. This is the only transmission place I will be using from now on!

I have somewhat of a classic car. I had my rear end fixed about a year ago. Guess a leak started around the pinion seal. I wasn't sure what was going on but A-1 honored their work and made the repairs. Some shops don't stand by their work but the guys at A-1 took care of me and I respect that. My family has also been on other occasions with repairs there and no issues. To me, these are good, reliable folks.

Alex is a very rude and disrespectful person! He’s not there to help people he’s only there to take your money. He doesn’t value he’s customer nor make them feel comfortable. I do not recommend this place. You are better off going to the dealership.

Everybody go to Alex! Not only did he have the lowest price for a transmission rebuild for my Ford Ranger out of the 6 shops I called, but he went above and beyond inspecting the truck and taking care of it like it was his own. Very pleased and will be doing more business with A-1 Transmission Antioch as well as referring friends and family to this shop.Service: Transmission
