August 2024 by Amanda Gryczko
I purchased six containers of live lemongrass plants today on August 1st 2024 from the store on Elverta Road and Watt avenue. There was a sign attached to the container of six plants that indicated that the plants were $9.98 each. I purchased all six plants. I reviewed my receipt when I got home because the total purchase seemed to be a little bit higher than I had expected. I discovered that the store employee charged me $12.98 per plant instead of $ 9.98 per plant. Thereafter I called the store on Watt avenue and Elverta road and spoke with one of their employees. I told the employee about the error and stated that I wanted to come back and receive a refund for the overcharged amount. The employee put me on hold briefly to speak with the manager and came back and told me that the manager said that those plants had not been on sale for quite some time. I informed the employee that I was looking at a price tag attached to the container of six lemongrass plants that indicated that they were $9.98 each. The employees response was "so you took my sign". I was very frustrated at this point and I said I did not take your figgin sign. At that point the employee said that I was being rude and he did not have to take me being rude and hung up on me. When my husband got home from I told him about the overcharge for the the plants. I asked him if he would go to the store and return them for me and get the full amount paid for the plants as I am dissatisfied with their service and do not want to purchase anything from them ever again. My husband went into the tractor supply Elverta road and Watt avenue with the receipt and the plants and asked for a refund. The employee said that. " he is not not going to refund the money because your old lady was too rude and they were not going to reward bad behavior". My husband had never spoken to anybody at that store and he was not rude he went in my place as they had hung up on me earlier and I thought maybe they would deal with a male customer in a better manner. They refused to refund the money. My husband left the plants there. It is noteworthy that there were five male employees at the time that I made my almost $200 purchase at that store on August 1st 2024 part of my purchase was 4-60 lb bags of concrete mix and two bags of natural pea gravel. Not one of the male employees offered to help me with the bags of concrete or pea gravel. There were five male employees just standing around and three customers total including myself in the store and no customer service. Talk about rewarding bad behavior do not go to this store and shop they are rude and they do not deserve your business.

Unbelievable experience. My partner and I walk into the store with the intention of buying work boots. Barely 15 feet into the store, we get stares from the front cashier and she immediately calls over the intercom requesting for loss prevention to the sales floor. Both me and my partner exchange looks and laugh, and continue shopping, thinking nothing of it at first, as we just walked in and are frequent customers. As we walk through the isles we notice multiple associates watching us. As we stand in line, we continue to be watched and notice an associate scan the isles we were previously. We as start to pay, we listen to a older women ask for assistance loading her car with extremely heavy items she purchased before us. Associate flat out told her no. My partner is a store manager of an auto parts store and could not believe what he witnessed. As we spent $160+, my partner shouted to the lady that he will assist her. We walk out, and as I watched him load the women’s purchase into her car, the same associate came outside and started wondering near our car and watched us, not offering any help. We’ve been shopping here since we moved to Antelope in 2022, but probably never again.

Ive managed to score some great deals on toys and planters here at TSC over the years. Unlike the personnel from the big box stores, the manager here from 2 years ago (forgot his name) let me pickup a bunch of gardening soil that had damaged bags. Great service and good deals.

Order for oil did not arrive after 4 MONTHS, WHEN I COMPLAINED TO THE MANAGER I WAS PUT ON HOLD AND HE NEVER PICKED UP AGAIN......the crybaby manager said I "yelled" at him. Do NOT ever order online. This guy is a real jerk....just blames the 3rd party shipping company for repeatedly "losing" the order.

I usually have a good experience here employees are nice and helpful. Today I experienced Tiffany, Tiffany was who ruined this whole store for me. I was taken back by her disgusting attitude, when I asked for help to find Chicken feed , or if she can call someone else to help me out something very simple that the store usually does by the way. She basically said it wasn’t her job, and if I can’t find it they don’t have it then was looking at me like i was dumb when I tried to process the way I just got spoken to.All with an attitude when I told her never mind when I realized she wasn’t going to help, I walked away I seen this other lady and she was very nice and helped me out right away. She also took the time to look in the back for the chicken feed, which they did have in the back but packed up and she told me to come around 11 tomorrow in a respectable way. Tiffany was being rude and lazy. Then I call the store to let the manger know. He seemed more than uninterested in what I had to say. Im pretty sure they have a kid or a teen as a manager he did nothing to help and was dismissive. I will longer be going back to this exact store because the people who were suppose to make me feel welcomed made me feel the most unwelcome for walking in there for asking a simple question that usually never is a issue. DON’T COME HERE IF U NEED HELP TO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING!!

I visited the store looking for rain gear for my husband. When I entered the store I asked the clerk if they had any rain gear and he said they have raincoats in one area and rain boots and another area and pointed to the directions. But they didn't have any real rain gear so I decided to look around. I quickly located a whole section of rain gear, raincoats, rain boots and rain suits. Their selection is great! So just as an information piece for the clerk that I spoke to first that had no idea that they had rain gear even, I said just so you know, there's a whole section of rain gear over in that section and pointed towards it so he would know for future reference. He nodded along like he had already told me that which he had not, and in a very smart aleck away said have a great day. So wrapping it up , clerk was unknowledgeable of store inventory, rude, and not very helpful at all... Kids these days ....... Where did customer service go???

The manager is very rude and was also rude to my 16 year old son who was going alone to buy some screws. An employee told him that it was almost closing but that he would look for what he needed and then he arrived and began to throw him out of the store as if he were not a person. My 16-year-old son the next day we went to talk so that he would not treat people like that, but With my other children, Sue was also very rude. After I arrived and I no longer yelled at my children, I called the police and they told me that I had to call the corporation to file my complaint. They had always gone shopping with me but what a bad experience. Those two days had never happened to us
