June 2024.
This Metro by T-Mobile at Elverta and Walerga was a good experience. They actually had the phone I wanted, (unlike a few other metro stores).
The employees are knowledgeable. When I got my new phone the setup was quick.
(Though I did have to pay more because I didn't want a new number, I don't understand that policy style from T-mo/Metro on porting.)
And I would have to minus a half star for being signed up for an additional plan service addon without being asked (of which it can be found in the mymetro app usually) , though all phone retailers seem to pull that these days.
Otherwise a very good experience.

I don't know who I was talking to about 1 month ago, but I was told Metro PCS no longer does transaction and other phone service changes at the store and must be done outside store such as via phone call. About 3 weeks later, I visited the Sunrise location for a different reason and the man working there was very helpful. I asked him if this is true and he explained that they still do changes at the store and whoever I was talking to must have been trying to avoid doing some work. Not sure how true any of this is, but it is my experience. In conclusion, I would avoid this store like the plague. Don't do business with liars or apparent crooks.

I went to my neighborhood Metro store off of Walergra and Elverta and was pleasantly greeted by a young lady named Nav! Was looking into getting my son a new phone and she took care of me right away.Very nice and personable and attentive! I had some other things I needed as well for a different day and end up meeting her at another store and she made some adjustments on my account also realizing i was paying too much. So she went out her way to make sure I had a plan for for me! What excellent customer service! I mean I walked out of there with some weight off my shoulder! Thanks Nav, you are a rockstar!

My review is specific to the Antelope Metro PCS location, and I want to share my experience. I arrived at the store with the intention of taking advantage of several promotions which I had confirmed over the phone: * 4 Lines for $100 * Free Google Pixel 6a with Number Transfer * Activation Fee Waived at the store I had even obtained port out pins from Boost Mobile for my four existing phones to ensure a smooth transition. However, upon completing the porting process, I was surprised and taken aback when I was asked to pay approximately $500. This unexpected and excessive charge directly contradicted the promotions that had been communicated to me. When I questioned the rep about the unexpectedly high bill, I received explanations that only deepened my concerns: * I was told that Boost Mobile is now owned by T-Mobile, which apparently disqualified me from receiving the free Google Pixel 6a phone. * Instead of being enrolled in the 4 lines for $100 family plan, I was put into a $180 per month plan, which included insurance. The issue here is that the addition of insurance was neither discussed nor requested by me, and this was only disclosed when I inquired about the bill. The representative claimed this change was necessary to secure the $50 per phone price. In essence, I felt deceived and manipulated into accepting a plan that was significantly more expensive than what I had initially been promised. Feeling cornered with my phones already ported, I reluctantly paid the amount under duress. I left the store with a sense of frustration and confusion. Upon returning home, I contacted Metro PCS customer service. The online representative acknowledged the erroneous plan charge of $180 per month and provided an $80 credit to be applied to the following month's bill. The customer service representative advised me to return to the store and call customer service from there. Subsequently, I revisited this Antelope store, but the store representatives were unwilling to acknowledge the issue or provide any resolution. I found myself in a frustrating situation with seemingly no recourse to recover the $200 that I had been overcharged ($50 x 4 lines). This entire experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about this particular Metro PCS Authorized dealer in Antelope. I hope no one else has to endure such an experience and pay $500 for something that should have cost $200 ($100 for first month for four lines + $100 for sales tax because California charges sales tax for free phones).

Horrible experience. The large lady was so cold, I felt like I was her enemy. She needs to work on her attitude because I don't want to come back. This was two separate days of this uninviting energy soo I don't think I caught her on a bad day.
