“I have owned five waterbeds in my lifetime. For many years had two set up in my home. In 1995, I moved and got rid of my furniture. Later, I moved and had to get a couple of regular mattresses. They were expensive. I actually got to check them out at the store. They were ordered and took a while to get. They were a disappointment and were like sleeping on the floor. They weren't good at replicating regular mattresses and it wasn't a discount store! For a few years I tried to find another waterbed, but it was impossible to find one. Finally, I found La Brie's Sleep Center in Citrus Heights/Sacramento. As soon as possible, I went down to La Brie's to check it out. Pete was amazing and his store had waterbeds set up on display! I wanted just a regular queen-size waterbed, and ordered a beautiful wood frame, regular waterbed, like a "model" that was on the floor. Meanwhile, Pete had ordered another display model and offered me the floor model for a very nice discount. I jumped on it because that meant I could have my bed immediately. I lived over an hour away, so I rented a van and came and got the bed. Now mind you, other than the first set up when my beds were new, I had always set up the beds myself, many times. This time though, I had trouble because of the tight space I was working in. Pete had offered to give me the name of an installer which I got at that time. The guy had surgery, so his son came and set it up within the week. They were as pleasant and professional as could be. They were filling the bed within a half hour. They offered to stay and finish up, but I let them go home. It was Friday! It cost a lot less than I had expected! Very reasonable! Totally pleased with their service. I absolutely love my waterbed! It's been a year since my purchase, and I could not have bought a more comfortable bed. It is easy to figure out the water level and heat setting if you haven't done it before. And you can always adjust a waterbed mattress, unlike a regular mattress. There are other types of waterbed mattresses, and I'm sure Pete can get those if that's what you prefer. I just like the regular mattresses. Pete knows everything there is about waterbeds and sells all the accessories. I asked him enough questions. The way other online companies described their waterbeds was confusing to me, and I was afraid to order anything. That's why it took me so long to make my purchase. It is better to come in person and see the beds.”

“Doing an updated review for this particular store and location. I’m going to start off by saying to Make sure to check EVERYTHING. Including any “new” items the store will sell you needed for your equipment. The day we picked up our equipment and took it home, we didn’t realize that the bag for the electrical cord was open. When we came back to exchange it we were then told they would not accept it because it was open. Store employee went out of his way to put the blame on us saying we opened it and accusing me of doing so and then taping the bag up. (The bag is see thru we didn’t have to open it to notice that we needed a 3 prong instead of 4) . Point is the guy was basically making us out to be stupid, and liars. It’s a 40 dollar part not a big deal , but don’t accuse us of lying or trying to make us a fool. So make sure to check your everything before taking it home . They won’t take responsibility over there things .”

“Wow! What a great buying experience. I recently moved into a new apartment and needed furniture. I visited the website, made a wish list of everything I wanted, and marched over to Furniture Mattress Outlet. I was a little apprehensive walking to the back alley of the store where the main entrance is located now (it used to be at the front where Harbor Freight Tools is now located), but after meeting Eric, all my hesitations went away. Eric is wonderful, gracious, and got me exactly what I needed. He arranged for delivery (I live on the 3rd floor - no elevator!!) and delivered and assembled everything. I could not be happier. And after doing the math, I saved 68% off retail price for all he furniture I got. Insane!! Visit their website because the warehouse does not have a lot of room on the sales floor. But you will not be disappointed. I am one happy customer.”

Little did we know it would work with her for poster bed!Nick was great. He opened his shop just so Mom could lay on the matresses and select the right one. We were the only ones in the shop, which was nice since Mom was still weak after a recent injury. He was patient and gave us all the time we needed and then delivered the bed sooner than promised!The price included free delivery, set up, and hauling away the old mattress, and was still less than a budget adjustable bed we could have bought online, which wouldn't have included the set up and removal of the old mattress set. “Been searching for several months for a new sofa set and all of the "big retailers" I looked at had nothing we liked. I decided to stop here Sunday to look around. I was greeted promptly and the gentleman was very helpful but not pushy. He told me if I had any questions to let him know. He was kind enough to check measurements for me on a few of the sofas. I found a set I really liked and the price could not be beat. Went ahead and purchased it and was told delivery would only be 3 days. Today the set was delivered and earlier than expected which was great! The two delivery men were very nice and friendly. They set up our furniture and made sure everything was ok before they left. They also took all of the boxes and stuff away. We tipped them as a thank you for their service and hard work (always tip your delivery drivers) I would not hesitate to purchase furniture from here again. Great quality furniture, prices and outstanding customer service!”
