“I made a large purchase at Emigh Hardware, requiring delivery. Once the delivery was dropped off, I recognized an issue, no fault of mine or Emigh. I called to report my issue & how we might resolve it with the dept. manager. The owner of the store, Brian, came to my home to do an assessment and was able to resolve the problem that same day. “The best Harbor Freight store in Sacramento is the one on Auburn Blvd. Colleen, the store sales supervisor really takes care of the customers. I've bought a tool chest from another Harbor Freight store and I was missing a handle in the box. I called customer support same day and they said the part was on backorder. Customer support told me to contact the store I bought it from and see if they can get me one from another box or give me one from the display. I called the store and a guy answered, after explaining the situation he put me on hold. I was on hold for 50 minutes. I hung up and called again. This time I got a hold of a lady, she transferred me to the manager and after explaining the situation she said she doesn't want to give me the display one and wouldn't give me one from a new box. She told me to call the Auburn Blvd store instead since they have a couple of new boxes. I called the Harbor Freight on Auburn Blvd and Colleen the sales supervisor answered, I explained the situation to her then she told me to drive over and she will give me one. I drove over from Elk Grove and she took care of the handle for me. Her store manager was very nice and made sure I was taken care of. I don't understand why you can't give a handle while another store could, especially if the customer bought the item from your store.
I want to give a shout out to Colleen. Colleen is a person that puts the customers first and from now on, I will make the drive to that store for all my future purchases. Did I tell you I was so amazed by her customer service I bought another tool chest from there. Colleen helped me load it into my truck too. Please give this lady a raise. Hope this review helps other people. Sometimes it's not the store, it's the people working there that counts.”
“I've been coming here regularly for several months now as I renovate my home. It is literally the best hardware store I've been to for customer service and knowledgeable help. Folks are friendly and always help me find what I need. Last night, two gentlemen stayed late to help me when I came in 5 min. before closing to help me troubleshoot a 75-year old faucet that did not want to come off the pipes. I have to say the absolute best is Cheryl who is often at the front counter. She is super friendly and really goes above and beyond to be helpful. She's also full of great knowledge and has helped me tackle renovation problems more than once. Customer service is hard (been there, done it) but folks here do a great job. That's why I come here first. I only go to box stores if Capitol Ace doesn't have what I need (they are a smaller store). To the employees: I appreciate you!”

We use to call it China junk but now we say even the name brands are made in China and yet they charge 2-3 times more than HF does and yet matches or exceeds the value. Good job HF. “The staff at Barnes welding is fantastic. I brought an old wore out MIG welding Torch ca looking for some parts and the guys behind the counter spent quite a while trying to figure out what unit we had. Parts were no longer available for the old Tweco Torch. The Miller 130 welder was really old so I went ahead and bought a brand new Hobart 140 unit Which is much more convenient than the old monster. LOL I have been very happy with a new machine and I have always used Barnes welding as my favorite welding store and you should too thanks so much William and Jamie”
