I've been with JS West for about 15+ years, I called their customer service due to a suspected leak and they dispatched the manager to my house in less than 15-minutes of the call. Thank you JS West for the immediate service :-)

highly not recommended to go with this company. This company has policies where they take advantage of you. They try to charge you $200 to come out and put a little soap bubble on your fittings and inspect your valves when you’ve been already getting services on your tank and getting them filled, it’s a way to con and steal from customer. This company is a dishonest untrustworthy company steer clear away from this company ...RUN..... They’re not a company with integrity, honesty, reliability, or dependability, and do not offer high Customer service are extremely rude over the phone. And basically take advantage of unknowledgeable customers . they said mandatory bogus inspections tricked their customers into thinking a little soap bubbles and visual inspection is worth $200 which is literally 30 seconds to a minute to do . Their crooks, and they’re dishonest .I’ve worked in the trades and have multiple experiences and I will tell you in my professional opinion as a licensed professional steer clear from this company.

The experience that I have had so far with this company is awful! The only nice person at the company was the man that came out to hook the tank up. They do not work with their customers and the ladies on the phone are very rude. When I decided to go with this company, it took several days to get a phone call back. I had no choice to go with this company because the tank was already at my residence, I am stopping services and going with a different company that will provide better customer service.

As a renter I had no choice but to use them. Unfortunately for us we've had multiple gas leaks losing at least 50% TWICE, that they are all too happy to refill for us. Incredibly unaffordable for renters; the national avg per gallon is 2.7 JS West charges 3.96 plus that "recovery fee".

Switched me to will call customer without informing me and when I ran below 5% they wanted to charge me $250 for an expedited delivery. This is after being a customer since 2015 who never missed paying our bill on time

Very bad experience all the way to making a complaint to head quarters in Modesto. They even ran my credit after they confirmed they would not. Thought they were a good company but I was mistaken.

I have not been in my home that long, and the former owner left and did not show me how to use the fireplaces. I have never had propane for my heating before or gas fireplaces. I was smelling a faint smell of gas in the bedroom fireplace, even though it was turned off and the pilot light was off. I called JSWest, and Jenna was wonderful. I explained the problem and she got a technician out to me within 30 minutes.Kayla was my service person, and she showed me how to use the fireplaces.She took her time and I wrote down the directions. Then she had me light it. She used her gas tool and spray and found one of the connections was loose and she fixed it. She was great! I have called JSWest before to try to understand my bill, and the person on the phone took their time and explained the way I can compute my propane use myself. I wrote down the formula, and now I can read my meter and be pretty close to knowing what the bill will be. Thank you JSWest for being so patient and helpful to a fairly new client who knew nothing about propane systems.

They have let us run out of propane multiple times, this time was for a service fee which we didn't even know about. Nobody attempted to get a hold of us regarding the fee, which was barely overdue, then they ignored my request to fill our tank and let us run out of propane. I understand we had a fee to pay, but this isn't the first time their communication and customer service has been terrible. And they shouldn't be letting families run out of propane for a $38.00 fee. When putting the order in to fill our tank, it states someone will call us the next business day to confirm our order, and nobody ever called. If our account was overdue, there should have been communication about that, instead of just letting us run out of our source of cooking and heat.They have been rude to me almost every time I call, and treated me like I am the reason they aren't filling up our tank. We give them thousands of dollars a year, their customer service should be better. We will definitely be switching companies.Update : they just came and filled our tank up partially, we were told they would relight our pilot and check for any gas leaks. They did not. That's not just terrible customer service, that is also very unsafe.

Rudest people I have ever dealt with. I just signed on with them, havent even been filled up yet and I'm looking for a new supplier. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.edit: 2 years later, Its been a tough couple years, decided to stick it out as we typically have limited interaction with them. But they've now let my propane run dry twice for a "tank rental" fee that was never mailed to me. If you're new to the area, use anyone but these people, we're for sure switching now.

There was definately a LP odor when main burner flame on. Service technician Russ showed up pronto and worked through a process of elimination to find the problem. Russ went above and beyond to help us find the source of leak and now we have heater just ahead of winter.Thanks again Russ ... You are outstanding Technician.
