What an amazingly unfriendly place. In addition to that, the staff are poorly trained and don't have a clue what they're doing behind the pharmacy counter. Thank goodness there is such a thing as mail order and delivery prescriptions these days. I don't want to ever step foot in this CVS again.

If I could give a no star I would. Needed help with a face moisturizer... no one showed up after pushing the button twice, the staff was one aisle over and refused to help. Settled on a different brand. Went to get beer and very few stocked. Get to the register and there's a bell for service... ring and she took her time getting near the register. Stopped to ask ME IF IT WAS MY BAG BY THE DOOR.... I replied not mine. Then she asked if I knew who's bag it was...? How would I know if it's not mine?! She Was more concerned with the bag than seeing to me, the customer at the register. Personality of of a door stop. I go to put the beer in the cooler and 3 are sealed and EMPTY! WTH?! Save your money and go to Angels Liquor.

The staff is fine. The bad rating is due to their policy on handling medications request.Per the pharmacist, who I just got off the phone with, they don't fill your script when they receive it.They will wait until you, the patient, call and ask what's taking so long. I have been waiting two days for diabetes testing supplies, and their automated system kept saying "in processing". So I called the pharmacist and here we are.The excuse is they are short staffed. That's outrageous and out right dangerous behavior if not medically neglectful. Please do NOT get your prescriptions filled at CVS in Angels Camp, CA.

Updating my previous review. As I said before, the people staffing the store are fine. My complaint was about the website and my difficulties getting my prescriptions delivered. They've been doing better lately so I'm adding a star. I want to give a shout out to the lady at the store (didn't catch her name) who helped me solve one of the many glitches I was having online. It was actually a mistake they had made and she apologized and fixed it. Anyone can make a mistake and I really appreciate it when a person can cop to it and not make excuses. Thanks!

This CVS is in horrible condition. Only been coming in here the past 7 years for my prescriptions. Don't be fooled and think their shelves are low or out of stock because of shipping issues. It's been horrible for years. I have never seen a store in such poor condition. I'm surprised that the higher ups that must check things out here doesn't fire everyone.

There are probably a few good employees here. I had a rough experience in the pharmacy yesterday and I was upset by it. Rapid Care had called in 3 prescriptions and I knew I had one of them at home. I informed the clerk who told me I had to talk with a pharmacist. I said no. I asked if they would call my name and she said yes. They did not. For 45 minutes I waited, sick behind my N95 mask before approaching a different clerk. I got the nastiest look I've ever received from anyone from the original clerk. She just stared at me, the kids call it eye-balling. I'm going to use another pharmacy where the lines aren't so long and the employees are competent and polite.

Moving to Angels camp and TRYING to fill my prescription at CVS! Impossible after a lengthy interview from the arrogant Male pharmacist he has refused to fill a much needed prescription and also refuses to honor the discounted price. After telling me that her could not honor the discounted price for the bay area! He has discriminated against my Dr.s address! I was told that CVS is linked. Must be a last dich effort for there lack of past conflict!

The store is fine but I absolutely dread the pharmacy. The staff is usually friendly but the wait times are horrendous. I switched to online delivery because of this. Today I had to go in store to get my first vaccine. Appointment went smooth online, wait time to get the shot was great, but then came the problem. I asked the pharmacist if I needed to get back in line to provide my info and he said yes. At this point there were about 10 people ahead. When I finally got to the register there was confusion and I got told I didn't have to wait. There's always something with this location.

My wife and I got our much-needed senior flu shots today and to a person, the staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. Sometimes the wait for prescriptions felt long, but I prefer that they take time to get it right. The staff was busy and the vibe was very positive,

The worst pharmacy ever. The drop off lady is quite rude. I can see why they have her at the least busy position. You aren't doing me a favor by deigning to wait on me. Do not bother to call unless you have all day to wait on hold The girls who do the pick up are always quite nice. Other than that if I had a choice of a pharmacy this one WOULD NEVER BE THE ONE I WOULD CHOOSE. AVOID AT ALL COST.

If there was negative stars I would give it ten negative. Had surgery in Sacramento, Doctor put in order for post surgery pain medication for spouse to pick up after returning home. Spouse gets there after five PM and told that they had to order, would not be there till the next day. Told spouse to call Dr. to have order sent elsewhere. Why didnt CVS call Dr back when the order was recieved at 12 PM and advise. POOR CUSTOMNER SERVICE....... NOT HAPPY AND IN PAIN.....

CVS in Angels Camp seems to be getting worse! Store is disorganized, shelves and aisles are messy/neglected, prices are higher than rival Rite Aid, only honors coupons or discounts on non-sale items, and ohmygosh, those annoying yards-long coupons given with your receipt! Always check your receipt before leaving the store!! More often than not, I've not received credit for a coupon or discount on my CVS app! I will now only go to this store as a last resort.

Why is it I can go to a Walmart in a different state and get my prescriptions transferred in less then an hour but this store takes 2 to 3 days to transfer from one CVS to another. And talk about RUDE, non- caring personnel!! Just about got my head bit off asking at 9am if I could get my refill before 5pm as I'm OLD and don't see well driving at night. I get it - they are overworked and obviously HATE their jobs. So why doesn't corporate fire the manager? Everyone has the same opinion as I do. I swear if I do eventually get this script refilled I am going back to Wally World even though it's twice the distance. At least I will be dealing with HAPPY ppl from the greeter to the pharmacist.

This CVS has gone WAY downhill the past couple of years. I used to LOVE going in there but now I absolutely dread it!! 1st of all its MESSY!! There are piles of junk just laying around all the countertops & carts full of what I'm assuming are items that need to be reshelved. My teenage sons room is cleaner & that's saying A LOT!! 2nd, everyone there is lazy! Management included. No one seems to know anything & look at you w a blank stare when asked questions. Case in point: I ordered 3 poster size photos & received an email saying they were ready. Went down & was told, after the clerk briefly scanned the area, that they weren't there. I asked for the manager. She came over, went to the back of the store for literally 2 minutes tops, and said they weren't there & blamed UPS. So I went home to gather my order number & tracking number, went back to CVS w the info and the manager called her headquarters. They said if they couldn't be found they could reorder on rush delivery. The manager suggested I do that but I told her to maybe go check the back again more thoroughly. GUESS WHAT??? There they were. Once again she blamed UPS for putting them in the wrong area when delivered. I kindly said thank you & went on my way. But now, here I am, because Angels Camp CVS is just bad!!! Very unorganized, messy & just plain old LAZY.
