Being they are the distributor for Starrett I was told I needed to use them to purchase a lens. I purchased the item on 8/29/18. With that purchase they required a CC which we provided and they released the item. Then on or around 9/12/18 I placed another order for more items for my Starrett and provided the same credit card again for that order. On the 18th I get an email stating the credit card didn't go thru and I assumed it was for the 2nd order. During that time I was out of town my CC was put on hold because I didn't inform them I was traveling so they put on a security hold. I also now was 2nd guessing if I should place the 2nd order because I might in fact order a whole new machine instead from them, causing me not to respond immediately. They did try reaching me a few times but I had been out on business travel most of the end of September. Today the sales guy comes in basically threatening collections. I told him we would audit the credit card statement and get back with him in a day or two and obviously pay it if it hadn't. After asking him to leave he didn't listen at first then had the audacity to tell me it wasn't personal. They messed up and now are putting their problems on me. I did call the CC company and not only was the charge not put thru, they couldn't even find that they attempted it. Seeings how they seem to be CC challenged we mailed them out a check the same day and still they threaten collections. Almost 3 weeks it takes them to let me know my CC didn't go thru, they've completely lost my 2nd order and suddenly it's like they've been trying to collect for months with no understanding of the circumstances. There are a lot of tool suppliers out there and I would suggest you look around other places.

Excellent place, very clean organized displays. and most importantly knowledge and customer service. These people don't tell you to look online or send you to some book page. they tell you what deals are going on where. they tell you the technical data for cutting and give experienced examples of what really works. if they don't then they do the work for you while you're doing what you need to do. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
