These guys are USELESS! We used to get our prescriptions at the other chain pharmacy across the street from Walgreens, but that chain pharmacy closed that location. Prior to closing, we had them transfer all our prescriptions to Walgreens. We called Walgreens to make sure they got the prescriptions and, more importantly, to confirm that they accepted our insurance and that everything would be covered. Walgreens assured us that everything had been received and that our insurance would be accepted. A couple of weeks later, we start to run low on the meds and so my wife and I call Walgreens to get our prescriptions refilled. At this point, we again double checked with Walgreens that they take our insurance and that everything would be covered and, again, they assured us that we were good to go and that our prescriptions would be ready the following day. So, the next day, we head over to pick up our prescriptions only to find out that they never got filled. We ask why, and the idiot behind the counter says, "Uhhh...we don't take your insurance". It takes every ounce of my strength not to go ballistic when I ask, "Then why weren't we told this the TWO previous times we specifically asked about it? Why did you tell us the exact opposite?!" That question was met with the rallying cry of The Inept: "Duh...I dunno." *sigh* So, here we are, out of meds, and with no refills because Walgreens has their collective thumb up their ass and can't do their jobs properly. We ask that they immediately transfer our prescriptions to another chain pharmacy down the street so we can get them filled that afternoon. Walgreens assures it will be done right away. We drive to the other chain pharmacy down the street about 30 minutes later only to find...yup, you guessed it...Walgreens never sent over the prescriptions. What an absolute nightmare. At this point, we call Walgreens and don't hold back -- the nukes are released and it's enough to get Walgreens to finally do something right...they get our prescriptions transferred. What should have been a 10 minute errand (picking up a few prescriptions) has now consumed four hours of our Saturday. Screw you, Walgreens!

Worst Walgreens I've ever been to to pick up prescriptions. Always a long line. Orders take at least 12 to process. Workers seem like they are unsure of what they are doing at the registers. And no urgency at all to help clear the long line. Sometimes people are in need of medication quickly and it does not seem the workers care about that. The store part is good but the pharmacy is the worst I have been to. Average wait time is over 30minutes in line weather it's in-store or drivethru. Please do better

If I could give this, no stars, I would the pharmacy at this location is horrible. Never again will I come to this Walgreens pharmacy if you do come plan on spending at least an hour here to pick up your medication and the manager does not care.

Never on time with prescriptions. Always late. Today, they told me my prescription would be ready at 4:20pm. It was not. They told me by 6:30pm. It is still not ready. Do yourself a favor and go to a different pharmacy. Anywhere but here.

I wouldn't give the pharmacy here a single star, but that's as low as I can go. The pharmacy is a total disaster! I was in with my Mother to pick up her prescriptions on Monday after her doctor had called them in, they weren't ready and we were told it would be later that night or the next day, well, here we are Tuesday, and I took my Mom back to get her prescription after we had received a call that her prescriptions had been filled. After waiting in line for over 30 minutes, my Mom was only able to pick up a partial (5 pills out of 90) prescription and the other still had not been filled. This has been a continuing problem with this location and I am advising my Mom to take her prescriptions elsewhere. I advise everyone, go someplace else, this place is THE WORST WALGREENS IN ANAHEIM!

Worst Walgreens in the area. SLOWER THAN SLOW. Spent over an hour when I literally made an appt online for this shot. Every single male employee at the pharmacy is LAZY AF and moves like a sloth. The white girl and Asian girl work well, but clearly have no support. HORRIBLE! Don't even bother with this location.

The wait time for the pharmacy is crazy long. Customer service is complete trash at the pharmacy. Nothin but attitude from the pharmacy every time I go. I Dropped off my prescription at 2 o'clock today and 4:30pm I am still waiting I called a few times already and each time it's still not ready. This place is so frustrating maybe they are understaffed but who the hell wants to wait 4 hours for a prescription to be ready. I go to rite aid for my childrens medicines and always the Prescriptions are ready within 15 minutes of them receiving it. I think I will be changing pharmacies. The rest of the store is okay and the regular store employees are nice but the pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with.

Went there for a Saturday afternoon appointment COVID testing for a flight to Hawai'i early Tuesday morning. Checked that pedestrians can go to get the tests, but have to go from the outside to the drive through window. There they check the test confirmation number and your identification. They then pass the swab kit through the sliding tray. In other words, you are standing on the roadway for cars using the drive through lane. At the completion of the swab, the swab stick is snapped in half and placed into a vial with a screw on cap to seal it then dropped into a steel box outside the wall. It does feel odd to stand where cars normally drive through and have a line of cars waiting for their turn at the window. Most people drive through but I walked over and entered the store only to be told tests are done outside, not in the store.

Received a message my prescription is ready. Waited 20+ minutes in line only to be told there was an issue with insurance and it's not ready. Then they told me I had to call them to give my new information. I called, they acted like they had no idea what I was taking about (literally just left) was put on hold for 10 minutes. Called back and they hung up without speaking. Called a third time and am still on hold. This place is awful. Will be switching pharmacies.

I wish I could give zero stars! The pharmacy line was horrible, probably about 40+ people waiting in line! The workers are so slow and this is ridiculous! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!

Waiting in the drive thru is ridiculous, worse when car in front of you is asking for a covid test, all the cars behind that car is waiting more and more so the line of cars builds up. Walgreens should have a better protocol for testing people vs others trying to pick up meds for family members through the drive thru.
