“I got to the smoke shop at 8am today but the doors are locked and there's no employees inside.... They have a big sign saying that they're open 24/7 so I'm not sure what's going on. I'd understand if he was on a break but usually they'd put up a sign indicating that and when they'd be back. Update: I decided to look through their back window and sure enough there's a guy sitting down lol. Once he saw me he waved for me to come in through the front. I needed a new vape and asked him the price of the elf bar and he told me $22 after tax.... I never ask for receipts but I had a gut feeling he charged me more than that. Once I got the receipt and looked at the amount I was charged, it said the total amount was $28.47 after tax. It indicated that it was $27.64 before tax, so I'm kinda mad since he told me it costed $22... do you guys think it's worth it for me to go back in and relay this all back to him, or do you guys think he's going to give me a hard time and come up with some sorta absurd explanation? I'm a very mellow dude, the last thing I would do is get all up in the dudes face and tell him how much I disliked his service.... I plan on walking in to remind him about the $22 price he told me regarding the disposable elf bars, and simply ask him why I got charged $28.47 as politely as I can. I don't expect him to say "you know, you're right! I'm so sorry for overcharging you like that, let me go ahead and issue you a refund and then recharge you based on the amount that I originally told you that it would cost" but hey‍ he can either be cool about it or he can throw some sorta excuse since he doesn't want to go through the whole 3-5 ish minute hassle of resolving this issue. If that's the case then I won't be coming back, I know that doesn't mean anything to him but if I had a small business I would do anything I can to make sure I have a solid clientele and make sure that they're completely satisfied with their shopping experience at my business. But losing one customer most likely means nothing to the guy and that's totally okay”
