Just got back from my trip of May 28-June 1st. Let's start off with the good...the proximity to Disneyland was awesome. After a long day you can cross the street and you are basically at your hotel. We could go back and forth with an easy 7 minute walk from hotel to the security line. It was clean and front desk was courteous. Stayed in room 115.Now on to the bad...the bed was a bit hard but still decent. My shower pressure was tricky. The first couple of days it took a few tries to get the pressure on full blast but my last day it was barely a trickle. Tried for about 5 minutes but it didn't want to go full blast. Morning of day 2 I woke up to my sink having a black sludge all over it. I'm assuming somehow sink got backed up overnight or something. Called front desk and they said they would send someone over at 8am. I left the hotel around 830 and no one came. When I got back to the room at 11pm the black sludge was still there so obviously no one came. Called front desk again and they finally sent maintenance over at 11pm. He said it was clogged and he could snake it now or in the morning. Told him to do it now cause I needed a clean sink. Now the kicker...I had to valet my car cause there was no parking spaces no big deal. On my check out I had texted the valet number at 11 am saying I needed my car. By 1130 I didn't receive a text so I walked up to valet. During my walk there I received a text saying no one can get my car and to text back 10 minutes later. When I arrived there was 2 people...guy and girl just standing there talking. Come on you're telling me NO ONE could fetch my car when you guys are talking?!? That annoyed me.The convince store was decent. It says hours of 6am-1am but I believe that's only for Friday and saturday. We tried going thursday night at 11pm and they were closed. Would be nice if they had proper signage for correct store hours though.Even with the bad I would stay there again just because of the proximity to Disneyland and being walkable.Rooms: Room 115Walkability: From door to security it took about 7 minutes

We stayed at Tropicana from May 15-21, 2024 and got great service from the moment we parked to using bag storage on the last day. We had cousins joining a few days and they made an effort to get our rooms close together. The location can not be understated. After a long day of Disney, saving a few steps to get straight into bed is worth it. Rooms were clear, had plenty of space for 4 and everyone was so friendly. We have stayed in Airbnb's west of S Walnut St and other adjacent hotels before, Tropicana will be our hotel of choice in the future.

Very unaccommodating and inaccessible. They refused to accommodate rooms that were accessible for my clients needs and were inflexible. Would not stay here again.

My husband and I took our two kiddos for our sons 4th birthday. We had our 10.5 month old with us as well. Booked a basic two queen bedroom. I emailed the hotel before staying to see if they had birthday packages or deliveries to the room before our son arrived, and they stated no. So I came with my own decor and did the best I could.Hotel gave us room 275. My only complaint is the door not having a door latch, the few hairs found on the floor and in the sink, stains on the blanket they delivered with the crib for my baby and making us valet. Which I assume is due to them selling parking spaces to Disney Resort guests who don't want to park in the parking structures. The beds were standard hotel beds. The shower didn't have great pressure, and in order to flush the toilet 100%, we had to hold the handle down for a good minute. There was not much room to move around, but we weren't there too long. Just enough to eat some dinner from a restaurant close by and sleep. In all, for the price, I would not stay again.Safety: The rooms only have a lock. No door latch.Walkability: Right across from Disneyland. One hotel over from the crosswalk.Noteworthy details: Be prepared to Valet, even if you are handicap and are requesting to not use valet.

We stayed for the first time in this Tropicana due to the proximity to Disneyland park. We tried first to get early check in but it wasn’t available. When we got to our room we noticed an odd smell, smelled like feet inside and even after opening the windows for a while we couldn’t get rid of the smell. Amenities within the room are average, bathroom area is okay. The general vibe of this “hotel” is more of a motel with a couple of renovations to make it look a little bit better but still poor/average experience. After airing the room for a whole day the smell finally came out. Staff entered our room while out to refresh towels but they just folded some used ones ?I think this hotel is overpriced because of the proximity to Disney but I don’t think it is worth it; Camelot next door has bigger rooms and feels cleaner.

Just understand that they don't do anything but take out trash and replace towels unless you stay 6 days or more and you'll be fine.Nearby activities: Across the street from Disneyland.

We just spent a week in the Anaheim and enjoyed the trip with the Tropicana Inn & Suites. Can’t state how easy and convenient it was to stay here, and the staff from the front desk to valet and maintenance were incredibly kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come into town! Very kid friendly and about as close to the park as you could stay with food and other amenities nearby, we highly recommend you stay here as well!

Customer service was great! There is minimal parking for such a medium to large hotel however if all the parking is taken they will valet your car without a fee which was helpful. We first were placed in a room on the second floor but with minimal elevators to get there it wasn't very handicapped accessible so they changed us to the first floor with no issue. Room was clean but quite small but the bathroom was large so that was beneficial. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING and my families favorite part and quickly became a nightly routine. It is right across the street from Disneyland and down the street (walking distance) from multiple eateries, which made such a difference leaving the park with little ones feet hurting. Also there have been a lot of break ins reported at various hotels in the area however we felt safe and with the 24/7 (at least it seemed 24/7) valet attendants they seemed vigilant which was probably a great deterrent for theft in this hotel. All in all we love this place and the people and can't wait to book again for next year!

We stayed here for our Disneyland trip and loved how close it was to the gate. I waffled between 3 and 4 stars but it just isn’t quite 4 stars imo. The proximity from DL made those late nights easier to get back to our room. A couple qualms were: the elevator is only located on one side and the rooms are configured in a large U shape, so if your room is on the second or third floor opposite of the elevator, you have to walk a long ways around to get to your room. So if you have a stroller, try and request ground floor or to be on the side of the elevator. The other thing was the room smelt musty, like it needed better ventilation. The last qualm is we stayed three nights but they didn’t clean our rooms once, they just do towel and garbage replacement. It would’ve been nice to have sheets replaced just once. Rooms are simple, felt comfortable, just no frills. It was also actually really quiet considering it’s right on S harbor blvd. I would stay again for the price and location.

You’re obviously staying here to be within walking distance of Disneyland and they are charging you accordingly. Most of the cost is for the location so don’t expect a super nice room or many amenities. You have to pay $55 mandatory for self parking or valet. It’s pure price gouging based on location. I’d look elsewhere if you have a car. I know it’s not uncommon to charge fees for valet but I feel like a designated self parking spot should come with the room!- The walls are extremely thin. I could hear people in the next room over having intercourse. Not my business but this was unpleasant as I had a child with me. You’ll also hear every time your neighbor enters and exists their room because the doors are LOUD.- The beds have a plastic covering under the sheets that are noisy and annoying. Beds are also pretty firm but I know that’s subjective. With all that said I’m holding on to a 3 star - average.+ The room appeared clean. No complaints.+ The tv and wifi actually work.+ Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.+ The furnishings and decor is fairly modern.+ There’s a convenient mini mart (very overpriced of course) connected to the hotel for snacks or hygiene items.I’d agree with another review that said this is more like a motel than a hotel. Don’t go in expecting the Hilton. Make reservations knowing that you’re paying for the convenience and a bed to sleep on, not the room or service.I think my stay here was borderline average to bad quality for the amount I paid. I’m sure you can find better within the vicinity.

We just spent 7 night at the Tropicana and it was great. Rooms are nice, beds are comfy. Daily service of garbage and fresh towels was great. We arrived before check in time and our rooms were ready so that was a bonus. The staff at the front desk were very nice. Highly recommend the Tropicana for your Disney vacation!
