Went into Salvation Army just to look saw some pants that might fit me headed over to dressing room, saw that there was a line and went in after a woman stepped out, as I was trying on the clothes an employee come and starts banging on the door like a crazy person and yelling at me to get out now, I tell her relax I'm putting on my clothes and she doesn't even give me 10 seconds to put it on without her opening or, literally so embarrassing everyone was staring, I told her how there was literally people using them it's not like I broke in there and that there was no reason for her to speak to me like that, I get it she probably deals with a bunch of drug addicts in the area but I was literally just a regular customer, that employee looked like she smokes a pack a day and just got out of federal prison, remember without customers you don't have a job so be nice and have good customer service, I will NEVER shop or donate here again

My first time here and found so many Disneyland Parks items and a beige colored Original Crocs for $2.99! I can see why so many people go thrifting, it’s exciting when you find treasures for these prices. Overall their layout is pretty organized, clean, and spacious. Steve the cashier was very nice and friendly. Will come back

For over a decade I managed a very successful resale store in LA for a charity. So I have a special place in my heart for real, charity-run thrift stores. (Goodwill is a pseudo-charity with a very wealthy CEO. The last thing I want to do is make wealthy, corporate CEO richer).Ok so a little background on the way Salvation Army works. Some have said sarcastically that the Salvation Army uses slave labor. What they are trying to say is that the Salvation Army relies on volunteer help from people who are grateful for the program that helped them get clean. In general, some of their staff live at Salvation Army facilities/properties. Why do I bring that up? Well sometimes you get people who slip through that are not terribly grateful or happy with their job at the Salvation Army thrift store. I saw such a guy today running their donation receiving area behind the store. This unhappy guy may have had a rough day. Who knows. I would suggest maybe finding a more non-public position for him.As far as the store goes in general.. it looks like it's a clothing oriented store. So if you are looking for a large or diverse assortment of art, household/kitchen items, home decor, furniture, media, etc this is the wrong store for you. Their household items looked very used and the customers seem to feel free to open closed boxes. It is a society problem. Not the Sally's fault. If you are local and need a shirt, old lamp, and a cereal bowl.. you would do well by starting here. If you are a weekend thrifting group of 20-30 year olds looking for treasures, I'd say the treasures are elsewhere. In closing, I say support real charities like the Salvation Army, and give your donations to real charities like the Salvation Army. Don't forget that their staff is in various stages of recovery. In some cases this might be there first job. So keep that in mind and realize that it is a therapeutic working environment. If a staff member is ever rude or publicly unhappy or shouldn't be around the public, tell a manager. Don't name shame the employee or give the store a low rating. I gave the store a four star rating. They're not perfect and they're doing their best with what they have. I love the Salvation Army and I hope you do too, so stop giving to Goodwill.

I did not like this location at all -1. everything is organized by color and not size2. You can't try anything on because the fitting rooms are closed3. You can't buy and return if it doesn't fit because purchases are final sale4. Staff member was a bit rude explaining this "it's been that way for 3 years". Well excuse me.5. I tried on over my head and I guess I was lucky she didn't see me based on other reviews.Walked out with nothing

I failed to update. Yeah. DVD player did not work. Lesson learned. So for any electronics he can't actually see the function. Purchase at your own risk.

This location is okay, I come here frequently for good deals on stuff. Some weeks they have new things other times it's mostly the same things. Prices have gone up, (as they have everywhere) jackets are $12.99 now etc and heavy coats are about $20, jeans $10 etc. On my recent visit however I saw this lady ask if she could have a discount on something because it had a stain on it and one of the workers said "everything's donated" in such a rude tone. I'm sorry, but not all stains can come out of clothing. Doesn't matter if it's donated or not, I thought was pretty rude as the lady asked in a nice manner.

This is the second place I have been to where they don’t call for backup at the register what is going on, do they just don’t have enough help .. when you get a big long line you call,,, you don’t want to to make your customers upset
