We had our wedding here and while there were many things that we were happy with, there were also some major things that could have gone better.
Pros:
-Abigail was our day-of-coordinator and did a fantastic job. She made sure all of our decor was set up beforehand, and she made several runs to get us food and drinks in the bridal suite and at the sweetheart table when we finally had time for it. She was professional and considerate of us and our family and friends, and she took on a lot of the stress of the day (quite gracefully, too) so that we didn't have to.
-The venue was set up the way that we asked. We had no issues with not having the equipment and supplies we wanted and needed.
-The location and the venue itself are beautiful. We were able to take pictures on the green with the sun setting behind us, and those photos are our favorites. The reception hall is quite grand, and one of our favorite aspects of it is the tall windows.
-We communicated a lot with Alexis closer to the wedding, and she answered all of our many questions and made sure we were all on the same page. She also met with us for our details meeting and made it super easy and simple.
-Our guests loved the bar!
-Overall, the staff were kind, considerate, professional, and helpful.
Cons:
-The food was only okay. Our guests were disappointed that they stopped serving hors d'oeuvres early into cocktail hour, and the filet mignon was inconsistent in doneness.
-We were reassured that there would not be golfers on the hole behind us during our ceremony, but the golfers ended up being quite disruptive during our vows. This was so disappointing for us.
-We were also reassured that there wouldn't be other events during our wedding early on when booking the venue, but there was another event happening at the same time!
-There were some discrepancies in what was included in each of the packages. For example, two vs three types of hors d'oeuvres depending on if you look at the list of packages vs the details meeting documents... thankfully Alexis was able to accomodate us.
-We had specifically asked if there would be any construction during the months around our wedding and were told no at the time of our first deposit, but there was significant construction by the time our wedding came around which we had to work around. Because of this construction, my husband and his groomsmen didn't have the space we were told they could use to get dressed, we had to find other places to take photos, and you can see the fences hiding the construction in a lot of our photos.
At the end of the day, we still had a wonderful wedding. Looking back, there's just a lot of room for improvement in terms of food and communication.

Had our wedding here 2 weeks ago & had a great experience working with Alexis! Alexis always responded to my millions of questions & edits and made me feel at ease. She is great at her job! We were also able to do outside catering which is hard to find at a lot of venues! Day of wedding things went pretty smooth! Overall a great experience! :) highly recommend!

They discontinued Sunday Brunch at this location. They only serve their restaurant menu from 7am to dusk. I was told that brunch will not be returning due to rising labor and food costs.

Attended an event there last weekend. Loved the venue! Grounds and banquet room were lovely! Staff took great care of us and were very attentive. Highly recommend!
