Wonder how many of these reviews were purchased?
My technician talked to someone named "Todd" who referred him to "Tech Support" and nobody picked up for 2 hours. Technician had to leave for another job. I called and someone answered quickly but said he has not seen any calls coming in. How's that possible? I called later in the day and this second person was able to verify that my technician did call.
But then they had a bunch of diagnostic questions that the technician could not answer because he's no longer at my house to take voltage measurements. And of course no tech support after 3:30PM PST and they don't work on the weekends so we will have to deal with the August heat for 2 more days. Maybe they don't realize they are in the Air Conditioner business.
My experience has been horrible. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Purchased at least a half dozen units from them. So far so good. Most importantly you can buy from them no C20 required. That is the way it should be because you only need an EPA license legally in California. It is wrong to require a C20 to buy when that isnt a legal requirement to do A/C work in Califofnia. These guys get that.

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR GLASS AND MIRROR SERVICES! I searched high and low for the right business to get me the best prices on custom sized mirrors for a barber shop i needed many pieces in different sizes and they gave me such a great quote I wasn't sure if it was too good to be true but it was and the mirrors I got were perfect ! I did ask to be able to pick them up so I belive that helped me with the price as rhey did not need to get installed but they gave me some tips and included mounting hardware for ever mirror I got . These are not cheap quality mirros either. I went to other places and called so many and the prices I was getting quoted were almost double if not more then what They charged me here. The near by competitors just 5 - 10 minutes drive away in any direction lacked everything this place has to offer including the people inside the business that I belive genuinely want to help you. Most places I went to didn't even look me in the eye or a simple greeting to acknowledge why I was there. Again I can't say how much they helped this small business owner thanks again !

STAY AWAY!!! Terrible experience with this company. I bought an air conditioner from them and it was useless. My installer brought it back to them but the wouldn't bother to even check it out. No customer service at all. Only thing they are offering is for me to purchase another one from him but he will not take back the first one. My office is only 170 square feet and it doesn't cool the room at all. Terrible products, take my advice and go somewhere else!!!

Star Air Kontrol stocks all of the well known brands and some value brands built by the same manufacturers but with different labels that work just as well. I would have to say, unequivocally that "Star Air Kontrol is the Best HVAC Supplier in California", the "Best Air Conditioner and Furnace Store in Orange County, CA" and employs the "Very Best HVAC Service Technicians in Orange County, CA"I experienced the most Professional service technicians in any field, very knowledgeable and most of all Honest and Trustworthy. When my AC broke down I made the mistake of calling a few other places first and just wasted my time. After my first call with Star Air, Todd and his team at were the only group that made me feel like my problems were being addressed. I was asked very specific questions in an effort to ensure that the precise model that would work for my setup was being selected and after that I was actually given many options to choose from.Obviously, when you call an appliance repair service rather than a store, you wonder whether they are recommending a brand to use because of some discount they receive and not because of the quality. I put my trust in Todd and he really pulled through, recommending a new design Gree Flex Ultra that is closer to a commercial Air Condenser in spec and capability than anything available right now. The installer was really surprised, commenting that it was the nicest air conditioning condenser (outdoor fan unit) than any other he had seen on the market. Just look at the pictures. If you live in SoCal, call the "Best HVAC Distributors in Southern California, 'Star Air Kontrol'", you will be relieved you call Star Air for any Heating and Air Conditioning purchases or service.
