We usually stay at a different Marriott but tried this one out. Much nicer than the other 2 Marriotts that are walking distance to the park. A bit of a walk to the park but no issue for us + low crowds. Will stay again.

I seriously have nothing bad to say about this hotel. It’s a great location with easy walk to Disneyland. This was our second time staying here and we definitely would stay again!

This place is very close to Disneyland and just around the corner from the Pixar and Mickey and friends parking garages. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had two queen beds and a separate sitting area with a microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom was large. We had connecting rooms since there was a lot of us. The sofa could be slept on too! More pluses: the air-conditioning was excellent, there were plenty of bed linens and towels and hot breakfast was included in the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again!Nearby activities: Disneyland!Safety: Indoor hallways and a room key is needed to operate the elevators. You must pay for parking. Entry from the exterior doors with exception of the main lobby door requires a room key.

Don’t even ask if they have a shuttle to Disneyland nor at what time is breakfast. Nor take the”complimentary water” because they will charge you extra for city tourism fee and market

Poor customer service. They have zero communication, which contributed to us missing a reservation that we had made months in advance and had unfortunately forgotten about. While they have a cancellation policy, they make no effort to reach out in the week ahead to ensure guests are ready for arrival. This is a very common practice for hotels. I am forced to conclude that SHS Maingate is predatory and would rather collect fees than reopen booked rooms.Update: they claim that they send a reservation reminder 7 days in advance, but I received no reminder. They have provided no evidence that they sent a reminder. I clearly cannot prove that a reminder does not exist, since to prove a thing does not exist is impossible.

Breakfast is very basic. I was expecting more options. I've been eating eggs and outmeal for 4 straight days. It would be nice if they alternate the breakfast options.Everyday they have the same sausage. It would be great if they had bacon or ham as well.

We were guests at this hotel and we had a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The front counter staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and housekeeping service was top notch and perfectly made our beds. Great accessibility to Disneyland entrance either by walking or a quick and cheap Uber ride. The hot tub was a little chilly but the pool was warmish but it’s better than feeling dizzy from the heatness. Will be staying here again next time!Rooms: The room we had was very roomy with lots of space and comfortable chairs/beds.Nearby activities: Disneyland Park is located within the same block of this hotel.Walkability: It is walkable however it is a 30-minute trying walk down a busy street with cars flying down but the sidewalk is separate from the roads between nice grass and trees. However nearby food services you are required to either drive or take an Uber. Shell gas station next door is walkable though.

We stayed here with a fairly large group and were mostly comfortable in the rooms. The pool area is nice, the pool is heated. The hot tub is nice as well! The breakfast is good, the line is long every morning so plan on arriving either right when it is served or shortly thereafter. The shuttle is not a real shuttle, it's a bus system and it is NOT cheap. If you are traveling with more than two people and not wanting to walk to the property is cheaper to Uber than take the bus system, I believe it was $7 a person each way.We had someone sick and had requested our room be cleaned, bedding changed, etc. and it took quite awhile. She was vomiting by the pool for almost two hours because we were trying to stay out of the room while they cleaned because we weren't sure what was wrong with her. Also, do not pay extra for the fireworks view. It's blocked by trees. It also set off a sensitive car alarm.Rooms: Clean rooms!Safety: We felt safe the entire time we were there!

Family trip (toddler and infant) went pretty well. This suite was primo location to Disneyland/ downtown Disney. We knew how close we were to the fireworks. *heads up for families with little ones. 9:30pm-about 15mins long. Our room was okay just hate how hotels either have or doesn’t have bathtubs nowadays. Parents with little ones- bring your own bathtub and some sort of spout to fill your tub.The great thing is target is really close by and the shell had some Ajax dishwashing liquid to clean our bottles for our infant.Other than that, the walk is doable after a long day at the happiest place on earth but I do agree on spacing it out every other day.So much to do besides the amusement park around here too.Rooms: 2 queens, and a toddler bed worked out okay.Nearby activities: Shopping, dining and entertainmentSafety: Safe to walk aroundWalkability: 15-20mins walk depending on your speed.Food & drinks: Plenty of food and drinks choices

A great place to stay if you’re visiting Disney world! Free breakfast friendly bilingual staff. And a quick 10 minute lyft ride to the park! Have them drop you off at Harbor Park Boulevard. This will be your drop off and pick up point when you go to the park! :)

Wow! We couldn't really have asked for better or more with this hotel. I'm very much a "clean freak" and our suite was sparkling. The only drawback was the distance from the Disney parks, but even then, the walk was perfectly pleasant and fairly direct. The room refresh service was fabulous (how lovely to come back to made beds and fresh towels with the kids' stuffed Minnie & Mickey propped up?!), and Maria at the front desk was absolutely delightful. We'll stay here again and pass on our review to friends and family visiting Disneyland! Thanks, team!

Hotel is in a great location for Disney, 10-15min walk to the Disney High St./monorail station. Good view of the fireworks from the south side of the hotel. The hotel staff are very helpful. Linda who assists with the breakfast bar is very dedicated, the food is always topped up and she keeps the area immaculately clean and she is always happy to help. Our room was always cleaned well and the house keeping staff are very friendly.Hotel pool is nice enough and pleasantly warm. Nice little area to chill out.Walkability: 10-15min walk from the Disney High St./Monorail station.
