Jules did an awesome job! He listened very well to my son’s specific wishes and he was very patient. Next time we definitely want Jules to cut my son’s hair again.

Our Stylist went extremely fast cutting her hair like she had somewhere to be. I had to tell her to wait the cut is uneven, which she then said that’s how it is but I guess I can fix it. We did tinsel in her hair & it fell out the same day.

I am mixed about writing this as up until my last haircut it would have been a 5 star. I paid $21 for a bang trim without getting any fluff off the ends of my 2.5 year old's hair. It took less than 5 minutes. The older child's cut was $35 with a tip and when I told her that I had a $3 off coupon that I forgot to bring she basically said, "oh well". Of course it was in a "special spot" at home. My fault of course, but they have to keep track of their mailers. Why offer that if you won't accept them? It's not like I am here every week "taking advantage" of $3 off. Finally the place is packed with toys for sale that I don't see anyone buying and have never seen in my multiple visits here, but they are ripe for little hands and it's pretty annoying. Perhaps they are convenient to some?Fast forward to my visit to a "real salon" where the owner spent way longer on both kids' hair at the same price. (Actually, the bangs were free but of course I tipped generously for those).A kids' place is great, but $21 for bangs for a toddler is ridiculous when it takes under 5 minutes, and they lost my business over it, at least until the child will be getting their regular $42 haircut here.I do like the stylists and the little prize at the end, but I am just not sure it's worth it for that, especially if I feel it comes down to greed from the owners. At a "real salon" they get drinks and sometimes candy, so it all works out in the end.Edit: I appreciate their response to someone below trying to tarnish them for safety during covid. These people are obviously savvy business owners, so this is part of the reason that I am saddened by my latest visit. It’s unfortunate someone would be annoyed that they “follow science” when so many places are quite dirty! So good for them for that.

My Daughter has special needs (Autism) we told Sher twice that she is Autistic and nonverbal. Sher kept asking our Daughter to stop moving her head even though we expressed several times that she is nonverbal and does not understand. The haircut was awful, it was not blended. Sher seemed frustrated and annoyed. We even suggested that the other lady who has cut our Daughter's hair in the past to cut her hair and Sher declined. Sher was not being sympathetic or understanding. We felt so discriminated. We will not be going back ever again.

Giving one star because that’s the minimum I can give. Worst experience ever ! What I had thought of being a fond memory, turned out to be a nightmare ! I had called 5 places to find a perfect place for my kid’s first haircut. When I called I did clearly say that we have never cut his hair and he is very active and likes to move around a lot. We are looking for someone who is patient with kids. I had also asked what “tricks”/ suggestions they have for 14 month old. The girl/ lady on the phone assured me that they take their time with kids especially first haircut (no mention of any time limit). I was told I’ll get a certificate with pic, a lock of hair and a small gift. I reached for my appointment 10 mins before the time, checked-in and was told to wait. One person was at reception, one person was at her break and the other person was cutting hair. After the person finished cutting hair, we were called, which was about 5-7 mins after our appointment time but we didn’t think anything of it. Now while starting we were figuring out the logistics if kid would sit on my lap or by himself (I felt rushed but didn’t say anything). Half way through the haircut, kid starts moving a bit so we try to distract him.. hairdresser suggests changing the parent whose lap kid sits on .. we try that and baby starts crying inconsolably (I’ve never seen him cry this much since he’s born. I get it that it’s something totally new). So I ask hairdresser let me console him and I get up from chair. She gives me 30 sec and then says we will have to “restrain” him. So my husband is holding his head, she’s cutting his hair and I’m seeing my baby cry in my lap. So I say let the baby take a min. Let me distract him … (coz if he resists and moves out of our grip he can get hurt by scissors ..). So the hairdresser says that we are on clock and we do 20 mins per haircut (THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED DURING PHONE CALL OR CHECKIN. Also when I go to a salon for a haircut I have never been told this. And my haircut takes longer than regular coz I have thicker hair). At this point I tell her that if it is 20 mins then why didn’t they start on time when we had reached 10 mins before time. Anyhow, we finish the haircut. Then I go to reception to pay and make a complain. So the lady at reception tells me that next time she’ll make sure to tell me it is 20 mins .. I told her there won’t be any next time (plus I’ll also recommend all my friends not to go to this location). Then she tells me let’s take baby’s picture and told me if I could make my baby sit in front of a wall. While making my kid sit, who had just stopped crying, starts to feel uncomfortable and has tears rolling down his cheeks.. and the receptionist is doing her job of taking a picture for certificate. At that point, I told her that I need time as he’s crying and you guys are just trying to rush and wrap up in “20 mins”. To which she says this is my job ..so bottom line is “NO COMPASSION. NO PATIENCE” and at the end of it .. my husband requested if could take a pic and we managed to get a happy smiling photo coz the child just needed a min to relax which their job was letting him do … and then they gave us certificate, picture and lock of hair but no gift which was included in the package that we paid forThey might be good in cutting hair of kids who are little older .. who you could explain what a haircut is …Places that my friends recommended and I should have gone to:Sharky’s .. they charge $34.95 for the whole thing. I didn’t go there as I wanted something closer to Yorba LindaRainbow haircut in Yorba Linda.. they charge $29 for cut and certificate and lock of hair. They didn’t do picture .. so I didn’t go here :( I should have gone here and taken the pic ourselves ..Definitely disappointed that people working with kids have no compassion and patience. If you have 20 mins slot for haircuts then please do mention it!

Jai cut my baby’s hair. The haircut was uneven and soo short and not blended. It looked nothing like the picture I showed. It was jagged and just horrible.

Been a client for 3 1/2 years with no issues. Both my sons get their haircuts here. Today a new hair dresser Jai cut my sons hair and when asked to make some minor adjustments refused saying the haircut was just fine. The haircut was not what we asked for in detail. It got to the point where she refused to receive any kind of feedback and asked that my son get of her chair and go to one of the other hair dressers to get the adjustments done. Never been treated so rude and that to in front of both my kids. We use Snip Its so we don’t have to deal with rude hairdressers and our kids can be comfortable. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
