This is my usual grocery store. I always get our groceries from here, I normally go to self check out for the simplicity and quick check out. I love the deals, cleanliness and selection to choose from, my only complaint is the worker SUSAN. She is always doing too much and making my husband and I feel uncomfortable. The first incident I was scanning my groceries and was about to pay. I was bagging my items and I forgot to put my phone # before paying. I put my # and she said "oh you don't need bags?" and literally UNBAGGED my groceries. I was confused because what ?? I said, "no, I do need the bags but I had to put my number" and I paid for the bags and THEN she bagged them back up. Like what was that for ? Really ??? Another time, we had a cart of groceries and she told us no food at self checkout like what ??? So we went to a register and the worker at the register was the manager. I asked her about that and she told me yes you can buy food at self check out but when it's a lot of groceries you have to use this other lane this rule started a month ago . I guess maybe her wording threw me off I don't know because no food and not too much groceries has completely different meanings. She also made us feel this way when, we were buying sodas for the deal. She watched us scan and pay for them. When we were leaving she went to the register I was at and printed my receipt. She made another worker run after us and stop us to check our receipt. When she was the one who I asked if the deal had limits AND she counted how many boxes I had. Today I bought cereal for the deal (it was buy 2 get 3 free) one of our selected cereals weren't part of the deal. Another worker (such a helpful gentleman btw) voided that one. My husband ran back and chose another, while my husband was getting that, the worker helped another customer. Susan then came and said "it's for 5 boxes of cereal" . I told her "I know, my husband was grabbing one to change and the gentleman was assisting us" she rolled her eyes and walked away .. She starred at us the whole time. I really feel that she does a lot of unnecessary things for some reason. Other than Susan, I love this Ralphs.

If I’m doing self checkout why is there a worker hovering over me & when the stupid system says help is on the way when I did what it said ( put the item on the metal area ) she then starts counting my things that are bagged… but doesn’t do that to a man that was buying way more things then I did behind me & just clears it for him quick. More workers should be on the registers is y’all trippin about people stealing.

I don't what that dude's name was but the black guy who was watching over self check out needs an attitude check. The self check out register kept running a pop up that said I needed an attendant's assistance. At first it was my fault because I didn't know the Ralph's register was strict about me placing my baggage in specific places. After that I did the self check out correctly but it still kept making the pop up happen. I was about to pay and the pop up started up again and I had to one last time ask the guy for help. He then gave me the stankiest face and said "What the hell. You're getting on my damn nerves." Bruh. I don't know what that dude was on but I have NEVER been spoken that way to at any grocery store. If he ever reads this. I genuinely didn't mean to make your day more difficult but if you're that easily irritated, I hope you one day learn to be a less bitter person. Never shopping at this location again.

I use the pick up service from Ralphs When the option started you could open the message and let them know you are there and space No Later you needed to log with password to let them know or call the no on the post I would dial the number Today I went to pick up the groceries and the number has been replaced with a QR code Considering that most of the pick ups are done by senior citizens why are they constantly making it more cumbersome to pick up the groceries

Always a long line. Self-checkout has never worked successfully in my experience. Ralph's app is a joke. Can never use digital coupons because the app cannot load while using their wifi!!

It’s a really good store to go for those who need groceries late at night or are working night times. I find myself here occasionally and it’s always been a life saver if I need groceries in a pinch. Like this Ralph’s.

Today, 10/12/23 at 6:18 a.m., I received a " customer service" that deserves 0 start because Cindy and Rhonda were so unprofessional. I requested $100.00 of cash back after paying for my groceries. Since the cashier ( Cody) had no cash at that time, I waited 13 minutes. During those 13 minutes, I asked Cindy for help; however, she responded to wait more for my cash and that she was busy at the moment.She sounded annoyed and had no time to help me. Since I was running late for work, I recommend if I can return after work at 3:30 pm to pick up the cash. Cindy responded with a not pleasant tone that I could do that. I , the customer, told her if she can sign my receipt as proof that I didn't receive my cash of $100.00 so when I returned later I Won't have any issues receiving my cash that was already charge in my bank account. She didn't care and told me to write my name and phone number in any paper. At that moment, I told Cindy if she could make a copy of my receipt for her record. Rhonda grabbed my receipt and walked inside a room next to the exit door and next to the deli, and u waited an extra 5 minutes. The cashier CODY walked to me and asked if I received my cash already , I told him no. Luckily, a customer paid with cash, and I got my $100.00. A total of about 18 minutes to acquire my $100.00 . At last, I was late for work. Thanks, Cindy and Rhonda, for making me wait that long for the cash

They will randomly stop taking any payments except cash. I wasted an hour shopping there only to be unable to check out due to their mismanagement. Terrible, rude staff. Typically there's only 1 line open with all self-checkout lines closed.

Stay away from the berries section at this Ralph’s. They’re always moldy, pretty much all be berries they have need to thoroughly be checked for mold. This is no recent occurrence. The berries have been on the lower grade for over a year now at this location. Do better Ralph’s!!

On Thursday September 21, 2023, at Ralphs, store 296; 915 E. Brookhurst Anaheim CA 92804, at 10:33 pm, the security guard working at that time, detained me and my daughter from leaving the store; he asked to see both of our receipts, so we gave him our receipts; he looked at our receipts and would not let us leave; I had brought 3 items (see attached receipt) the 3 items was in my hand; my daughter few items was in her bag and he saw what we purchased and still refuse to let us leave the store and would not give us our receipts back; he asked no one else for their receipts, only us, others had basket full of groceries and he just let them walk out of the store with their groceries. The only difference between us and those he let walk out without showing their receipts was, we are African Americans and they all was Caucasian; we asked him why was he doing this to us and he said he had the right to do it to us. Due to your security guard not letting us leave, I asked for the store manager, the store manager was not there, so another employee had to come over to get your security to give us our receipts back and let us leave the store and he also informed your security guard he had no right to do what he did to us. We have it all on video, I do not take this lightly, my daughter and myself are very good citizens, with excellent reputation in our community and we expect to be treated equally here in our community; nothing like this has ever happened to us, I had my 12 year old granddaughter with us and it was very disturbing for her to see this discrimination from your security guard.

I usually get my groceries delivered but there are times I have to make a trip when items on my list are not in stock on the shelves. I don't understand why the deli section doesn't carry corned beef for sandwiches. It's not only this store but 2 others in the area don't stock it either. Not to mention but sale items are hit or miss being in stock.

I was shopping at this store yesterday and in the middle of bagging my groceries and such I left my small wallet/purse at the check out lane. When I arrived home and put my groceries away I noticed that my purse was missing and drove back to store. As soon as I asked checker if anyone had seen my purse and he said he found it and it was at front of store. I was so relieved, I left without getting this young persons name. I appreciate honest people that work where I shop.
