Marceline's Confectionery is a cute sweet shop. And boy do they have some delicious treats!! Not only do they taste delicious, but they are also pleasing to the eye. Right when you walk in this bakery, it has a yummy smell. It smells like freshly baked cupcakes or brownies to me lol Maybe it smells differently to others. In any case, this is a great spot to hit if you have a sweet craving! :)

# 95 Review for 2024 ***Sweet Haven in Downtown Disney*** Marceline's Confectionery is a magical sweet spot nestled within the heart of the Downtown Disney District. As someone with an insatiable sweet tooth, stepping into this delightful establishment was like entering a fairy tale for the senses. The array of freshly crafted candies, chocolates, and caramel apples is nothing short of enchanting. From the moment I laid eyes on the assortment, I knew I was in for a treat. The attention to detail and the commitment to freshness were evident in every confection. What truly made this experience special was the opportunity to witness the candy makers in action. Peering through the large windows, I felt like part of the magic as I watched these skilled artisans craft these delectable goodies. It added an interactive and captivating element that made the visit not just a shopping spree, but an immersive experience. The Disney-themed snacks were an absolute delight, allowing me to take a piece of the park's enchantment home with me. Whether it was the intricately designed chocolates or the perfectly coated caramel apples, each treat felt like a taste of the Disney magic. The staff's warmth and enthusiasm only enhanced the experience. Their knowledge and willingness to help find the perfect treat made the visit even more enjoyable. Marceline's Confectionery is more than just a sweets shop; it's a haven where magic and sweetness blend harmoniously. A visit here is not just a purchase; it's a journey into the world of delectable treats and Disney wonder. It's an absolute must for anyone seeking to sweeten their day with a touch of Disney magic.

The good: I got a caramel apple with peanuts, a black rice krispy (for Halloween) and a cake pop. I love that their menu items change based on the season. The peanut caramel apple is much cheaper than the other options that have fun character shapes or the caramel apple pie apple. The store also sells souvenirs like kitchen supplies, mugs and more. I like being able to get the Disney experience by coming here rather than needing to go inside Disneyland. There are cement bench seating areas outside the shop by the tree where you can enjoy your desserts immediately. The bad: It took a long time before we could order. The store is small and not as great for strollers. Confections are all a bit pricey. The interesting: You grab a ticket number and wait for your number to be called in order to order.

I'm obsessed with sweets first and foremost. Secondly, the workers were all very nice. Third, this place was cute, clean and had delicious treats. I bought caramel apples, churro toffee, Minnie cake pop and a huge sugar cookie. I don't have a pic of the churro toffee, but it's a delicious toffee square with a very thin layer of white confectionery/white chocolate (I had a cold so it was harder for me to tell the difference) and cinnamon sugar. It was not too sweet. The Minnie cake pop was a vanilla cake. The texture was what you'd expect for a cake pop. It had a candy coating and was super adorable. It's in one of the pictures but I didn't get an individual picture of it bc I wasn't careful and it got squished in the cooler I had in my room. While it was a large, beautifully decorated cake pop, out of all the things I purchased here, it was not the top. There are so many options for deliciousness here. Don't skip this place unless if you hate sugar. The caramel apple was a beautifully crisp apple with caramel and candy coating, marshmallows for Mickey ears and adorable decor. There was also colored sugar on it, which added an additional texture. 10/10 would eat again. I bought 2, one for bestie and one for myself. I'm not sure of the shelf life, I bought it the night before a drive back, one cracked and didn't look as cute, but it still tasted amazing. Best purchase here on my part. The sugar cookie was huge. It was so big kiddo and I ate it over a few days, and the cookie did not get all dried out or too hard to consume. It was delicious. 10/10 would eat this again, I'm putting it on my list to buy for my next time up here. The only negative thing I'd have to say is that it has now raised my expectations with sweet shops, so say a prayer for me, I don't need to deal with being even pickier

The service is unfriendly and Stay away from the Candy apples. They don't cut them and they are rock hard. They offer you a plastic knife that breaks. The caramel apple cut ok. If you're taking this home may be fine.

Really good tasty treats. All we got were cake pops, but they were all good. Reasonably priced for a Disney spot.

This is a fun little treat shop. Lots of holiday treats as well as Disney shaped yummies. They also have packaged treats and candies for sale as well. I like how they are on a number system. You receive a number when you arrive When it's called go up to pick your goodies from the case and pay for it at that time. There's no waiting in line which is nice and it makes you choose quickly instead of standing there debating on which treat you want. We wanted to try the Rice Krispie treats. We also went during Halloween and got what we saw on the gram. We watched reviews on the ghost and Oogie boogie Rice Krispie treat. So that's what we got, plus my kids got chocolate chip cookies, candies, and lollipops. The Rice Krispie treats were ok. The first few bites were alright, not too sweet or caked with icing. It also did not taste fresh. Tasted a little more on the stale side plus the Rice Krispie started falling off the stick!!! Of course the more I ate, the sweeter it got! I still finished it. Overall a pleasant experience.

Great place for some quick souvenirs shopping on your way out. The candies behind the counter are HUGE. Pictures don't do them justice. They also had Alice in Wonderland themed teas, which i found perfect to bring back to gift friends & families.

So many sweet treats to choose from! The beautiful large cookie is broken because some lady on the plane smashed her rolling suitcase into my small bag in the overhead bin.

An absolute MUST if you're visiting Disneyland or downtown Disney. Of course, I recommend getting any seasonal items, and when we went, I got the "skull apple" based off of the poisonous apple, and then a candy corn cake pop vanilla flavored. Absolutely loved both and there was plenty to share!
