I've been in OC this past week visiting a friend and was SO THANKFUL to have found this spot. The service was exceptionally friendly, especially Jose who set my sister and I both up with guest passes. I saw another reviewer say it: Jose is the man! The gym also felt highly queer and trans friendly and I was comfortably able to workout without issue as a trans person.
The machines are extremely varied for a relatively small location and there were enough barbells I never found myself waiting for one. There are also several different kinds of rooms for people who prefer working out in quieter spaces.
And a smoothie bar?? C'mon!

Lately after trying other gyms in the neighborhood I decided to try LA Fitness located at Anaheim Hills with the expectation of experiencing the high standards that the brand is known for. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of the LA Fitness reputation for excellence = seriously fell off all standards of Customer Experience from all perspectives.
I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service provided by LA Fitness, specifically at the Anaheim Hills location, and the unsatisfactory assistance I received from staff members Chris and José. As a prominent figure in Silicon Valley and a resident of Orange County, my schedule demands efficiency, which led me to choose LA Fitness for its purported convenience, particularly the ability to book Racquet Ball courts in advance through the mobile application.
Regrettably, the membership sold to me did not include the promised court booking feature in the mobile app, a critical component for my busy schedule and the group of over 40 professionals I lead for company worldwide, I have many of my friends, co-workers and family members in a group of professionals aiming to play several sports including Racquetball at LA Fitness, I encouraged many of them to leave their gyms and come over to LA Fitness but I changed my mind by two staff at LA Fitness Chris and Jose. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue, including reinstalling the app and contacting customer support, the problem persists. It's worth noting that both my iPhone and system are consistently updated, eliminating the possibility of a technical glitch on my end.
Over a period of two months, I have been provided with assurances that the issue was being addressed, only to be met with inaction and ultimately, a refusal to refund or upgrade my account. This lack of resolution not only inconveniences me but also reflects poorly on LA Fitness's purported commitment to customer satisfaction. The suggestion to cancel my membership without a refund is not only unacceptable but also dismissive of my concerns and needs. Best solution is to refund partial or full of 18 months with such high inconvenience and then redo my account again ensuring the court-booking feature is working seamlessly, not like so carelessly handled by the staff at LA Fitness Anaheim Hills and their CS reps who don't understand it's a glitch in the system for my specific account, not the app, nor my phone.
The failure to provide a solution not only undermines the value proposition of LA Fitness for me but also for the network of individuals I influence, many of whom are considering joining based on my recommendation. It is imperative that this matter be promptly addressed, either by ensuring the court booking feature is functional on my current account or by providing a full refund to rectify this situation.
The resolution of this issue is crucial to my continued patronage and advocacy for LA Fitness. I anticipate your immediate attention to this matter and a satisfactory resolution that upholds the standards of customer service and integrity that LA Fitness claims to embody.

Miguel, the new manager here at the Anaheim Hills location (my preferred club), was really helpful. I came in to get a summer pass for my niece, and he was very friendly. He helped her & now she gets to enjoy her workout with me, till she's a regular member.
I've been coming to LA fitness for over 20 years & will continue for good. And really, I love the Anaheim Hills Club.

If you are new and don't know your way around, Jose is the man and he's excellent in customer service. The gym itself was great and there are plenty of machines and equipment to get a great session in for all muscle groups. I'd give it an A. The only con was a personal thing and thats no elastic bands for stretching but not everyones going to care about that. Lastly, Mia is another employee who has great energy and is willing to help out with anything.

I've tried to go to this gym 3 times in the 7 months I've been paying. Each time I feel more and more frustrated. All I want is to know how to work the machines so I can go on my own. I don't want to discuss what I do for a living, my kids, my diet, my prescriptions covered by HIPPA, the weather or anything else. After telling 3 different people all I want to do is work out the large manager got aggressive and called me names and I finally left in tears. Hopefully the owner sees this and tell them to put customers first.

Great facility and friendly staff. I've visited this location a few times while visiting the town and have always had a good experience. I will definitely be returning!
