Actual rental was easy and the people were nice enough. Not over the top, but got the job done. All men working there today.
I’m really glad they had a restroom. However, it smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. ?

Don't rent here. These guys are going to try to screw you.
Dropped a car off here. After leaving it, I get a call letting me know that I was going to be charged a $400(!) detailing fee because there was pet hair on one seat. This is the same amount that is charged for smoke damage. My (small) dog rode in a carrier and the amount of hair that was present on the one seat would easily be picked up by a single wet wipe.
When inquiring about what constitutes "excessive per hair", which is what the Hertz corporate policy describes as the amount requiring detailing, I was told "any amount of pet hair requires detailing" by the man working the phone.
They were trying to double the price of my rental - presumably because they pocket the absurd cleaning fee charge.

i’m livid at the customer service my cousin received this morning at this location. my cousin is visiting from out of the country with his family & needed a rental for a couple of days. my cousin is NOT fluent in english & the two guys “working” the front desk were extremely rude about it. my cousin was trying his best to communicate his needs, AS A CUSTOMER…they were so quick to turn him away. not only is that discrimination but it’s incredibly vile & disgusting to treat a customer due to a language barrier. idk who’s running this place but the people they hired @ this location says a LOT about the company. we will NEVER rent from hertz ever again. good customer service should be inclusive to everyone DESPITE language & race. highly disappointed! take your business somewhere else.

RENTERS BE WARNED- CONSIDER LOOKING ELSEWHEREE. MY EXPERIENCES WITH THIS LOCATION BELOW. UNFORTUNATELY THIS LOCATION DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THE EXCELLENT REPUATION THAT HERTZ HAS HAD IN PREVIOUS YEARS.
First, when picking up the vehicle I was given a device to sign for the photos on the vehicle prior to being given the chance to see the vehicle up front. When I arrived at the vehicle with the local branch associate I noticed damage to the vehicle and upon review of the photos sent to my email the damage is not visible. The associate instructed me to "just bring it back to him" and that he would remember the damage. I took photos of the damage to ensure I would not be held liable for any of the damage when returning the vehicle. Additionally, although I stated to the associate when completing the contract the vehicle should be direct billed he still tried to authorized my card for the full rental amount. It was not until I asked 3 times before he checked his records. I reported the damage online upon my return to my workplace to ensure it was at least reported somewhere to the company to prevent being charged, but am still concerned that I will have issues when returning the vehicle. I am also concerned that the location is having other customers sign for the vehicles in the office before walking out to their cars, meaning there is not an opportunity for them to declare damage before taking their rentals off the lot- something that in the past was common practice with Hertz.
Second, I received a notification from my bank on 16-Jul that a $610.96 authorization and a $51.25 authorization on my card on 17-July from this Hertz location- even though my insurance is direct billing.
I called the local branch 7 times with no answer and finally had to leave my place of business early to inquire why I was charged. I was dismissed rudely by the associate working that "he didn't see any charges" without even looking up my card number nor requesting the exact transaction details. When the manager FAISAL BHATTI arrived back from lunch I spoke with him and was treated even more poorly. He was dismissive when I asked him to send me an email so that I had it in writing from him that he did not see any transactions on his side and so I could have that on record in case the charge cleared. He stated "I just work here, I can't do anything." No offer to help, no empathy, no service.

I booked my reservation 6 months in advance and they did not have a child car seat available. The owner told me "they are not guaranteed" when reserving but this is not true. If this were a well-run establishment they would have been prepared. Not having a child seat available when you reserved and legally need one is criminal.

Bold employee with ear hairs lied about you can't change the car in different hertz location than you picked up. This is not hertz policy. He just tried to mislead for skipping work.

Upon entering, no one acknowledged or said they’d be right with us. Once they were done helping people one guy just got up and walked away. John finally helped us and said even though we had a reservation they don’t have any cars so basically too bad. We asked how it’s possible to be able to reserve and then just not honor the reservation and he responded that it’s not his fault and it’s above his pay grade. We took a bus and walked to get there and John did not offer any type of solution what so ever. I understand things can happen but the employee’s attitude and how the situation was handled completely ruined our experience. There was also a lot full of cars and no one else waiting. I am truly mind blown by the lacking of care John displayed. If you don’t have cars, stop selling reservations.

Left my laptop in a Volvo rental. Asked Aneheim Hertz staff if they knew where the car was. Answer: "vehicle is idle at Hertz Westin LAX". Took an Uber only to find that information was not correct/honest. $90 Uber! Hertz service over this holiday was nothing but sad, from errors with my details to app locked to my licence and no way to login! Never again!

I recently rented a car from Hertz Anaheim-Katella rental company, I was very happy with the service and selection of the car I received. The manager Faisal went above and beyond to ensure that my car rental experience was seamless and enjoyable.

Worst place I have ever rented a vehicle from. While waiting in the lobby, multiple personnel walked by without saying a word but a state and then walked away. When someone finally assisted me, the charges were different from the initial booking. When I returned my vehicle, they charged me 1 gallon of fuel when I just filled it up. I would NEVER rent from this location again.

We booked a Tesla model 3 long range 1 month in advance at this location. The day we go to pick up the car the man working at the desk said they didn't have any in the lot, only the short range. Why did no one call us or email us in advance? The man also told us the short range woukd be better for us....We chose the long range based on our destination and what would work best for us. There is no excuse why the car we booked was not available. We weren't the only clients that day who had this issues too. 2 clients ahead of us also did not receive the car they booked. The Telsa we did receive had stains on the inside and lots of scratches on the outside. Do NOT go here.
