just recently started coming here and I honestly love this gym.
I have the passport golds plus and I usually always bring a friend in with me.
KIMBERLY always makes my friend and i feel welcomed here. Shes been welcoming to us ever since i started coming to this gym.

Came and bought a guest pass. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the staff was great. Otherwise this gym is a mess. They have limited equipment and only one of most machines. It's so packed you're waiting for everything. Nothing is up to date. There were no stations to sanitize equipment before or after use. Construction is going on and is taking over mass parts of the gym while they are clearly neglecting others such as 1) broken equipment 2) leaking AC units (currently seeing it drip on the treadmill by me while I finish my cardio) 3) no maintenance on water stations. One has a bad filter. The other is out of order. So good luck staying hydrated. It's also way too small for how busy it is. Came here during the middle of the day and it took me over an hour to do an arm day that normally takes me 30 minutes. I suppose the upgrade "might" help with that...but I'd stay away until they are done at the very least.

Great experience thus far. Guest & Member service seems good for now. Water pressure & paper products need improvement, but it's not critical. Renovation going well. Just go

Today is July 16, 2024. I came to join the Gold Gym Garden Grove Brunch. However, an employee named kaylee and an employee named Carlo came out and said they couldn't let me sign up because the Wi-Fi wasn't working. So I asked if it was possible to tour the gym. People who come to sign up for membership at any gym are given a tour of the gym. But Carlo says he can't give me a tour of the gym. I asked Carlo what he could do for someone new to join Gold Gym. Then Carlo very rudely replied that he would call the police. Carlo says he will call the police to kick out the person who came to Gold's Gym to sign up as a new member. The service for Gold Gym members is truly amazing. I will tell my friends, family, co-workers, and people around me to be careful when they go to sign up for Gold Gym, as they may be arrested or kicked out by the police by an employee named Carlo.

This place is an absolute joke! I come in on a Sunday morning workout. I lock my gym bag in the locker and go do my thing. When I come back, I don't see my lock. So of course I go to the front desk to let them know what happened. Apparently the staff knew there has been break ins and hasn't done ANYTHING about it. No police report, no write up, no anything. This location is understaffed and doesn't care about your well being, which is funny bc that's exactly what they're trying to sell you on. Stay away!!!

I have an active insurance plan with a Gold’s membership. They told me my Gold’s membership was inactive because I hadn’t been there in months. I requested they reactivate it, so the Asian guy with gelled up hair messed with my membership and said I was good to go. Then he said I had to take a tour because I was coming with someone who signed up for a guest pass. Ok, fair.
Then, a personal trainer/sales man gave us a lackluster tour and immediately tried to sit us down at his computer to sell us memberships. I asked if we could work out before he talks to us about rates. He was insistent that we sit down. I told him I already had a membership. He looked confused and looked me up in the system. He informed me I was STILL inactive! So I wasted my time doing all of this, just for him to tell me I can’t enter the gym today anyway!
What a waste of time and a lack of professionalism and communication between employees! DO NOT waste your time here.

I take Silver Sneakers Classes twice a week with our Coach Manny Tirado. He actually makes exercise enjoyable. He’s always mixing up the class with a variety of moves. He’s readily available to any class member that needs assistance. His personable demeanor and professional experience is so apparent. I highly recommend anyone to attend.

I received an email regarding the upgrades and renovations coming to this gym soon. That is great news! Although, I didn’t see any mention or preview of potential hip thrust machines being added. Would you please consider doing so? Also please consider adding a 3rd Smith machine and a pendulum squat machine. Taking into consideration the upgrades mentioned in the email, the hip thrust machines, a 3rd Smith machine and a pendulum squat machine are the biggest remaining needs for this location. Thank you!

Wasnt even acknowledged and waited 15 minutes so i couldn't even get in to give a real review. I'll never know. Staff rolled their eyes at customers too.

I’m from Dallas and tried getting a guest pass, I showed up at 8am I was told to wait until 9:30, then 8:30 because managers would be there. I spoke to one manager Kyle and was told I had to wait until 9:30 due to protocol, protocol is understandable but the incompetence to allow someone to workout and complete the meeting afterwards (because I was there already) is insane and hasn’t happened to me before at other gyms around the area or Dallas. Lost a membership today because I moved out here 2 days ago.
