I started renting with this location in June of 2023. What got my attention to rent with them was the first month free (which I never got). When I got in there I was paying about $160 per month and then a couple months later they bumped it up to $309 a month. Now they want to harass my phone when I'm a couple days late. They even tried to illegally automatically charge my card without my permission. Good thing I always lock my cards. So now I'm wondering if I should speak to a lawyer about this. They tried charging my card without my permission last month also. These are crooks working in that office. I will file a complaint with corporate first and see what they do. If nothing comes of it, I'll have to seriously consider lawyering up. It's illegal to charge someone's card without permission. You'd think a company like this was smart enough to know that but it looks like they aren't that bright.

Rafael offered information on the phone while Angel assisted me twice in person and completed the transfer. Angel was patient and kind, and clearly communicated each step of the transfer process. Huge thanks for making this process a lot less stressful than I had anticipated.

Be careful how they bait you in for a low rate then 2 months later they more than double. My rent went from $102/mo to $255/mo.

Definitely one of the best storage units I've ever been to. The facility is super nice, SUPER CLEAN, and the staff is even better. They are quick, straight to the point, while still providing excellent customer service. Angel is an angel ? She did everything she could to get me back into my storage unit when I realized I left my storage key at home. Would definitely recommend.

Jennifer was incredibly helpful, kind, personable, and professional. She provided EXCELLENT customer service and was very informative. It's obvious that she knows the business incredibly well. She provided us with information that led us to upgrade our unit to a better option that would fit our needs. She is an asset to Extra Space Storage and we are so grateful that we had the opportunity to interact with her. She is definitely managerial material. Thank you, Jennifer! Save yourself some time and find somewhere else. This location as many other offer incredible monthly rates to get you in. Then within three months they more than DOUBLED my rent for a 10 x 5 unit from $72 to $158 per month! I politely called the store manager and offered to pay cash up front for the next year if he could keep my monthly rent the same. No dice. Such a rip off.

I have called multiple times to try to cancel a unit I have never used and they refuse to call you back and they continue to charge. They refuse to answer any phone calls and the answering machine says that a manager will call you back as soon as possible. Don't hold your breath as that will never happen! I called ten times, each time leaving instructions to call me back and cancel the storage that I have never used. Nothing!!! Absolutely nothing! Then I contacted the headquarters! They don't have a phone number but you can live chat with somebody. If you do contact them via the "chat" function, I suggest you not mention contacting the attorney general when they refuse to give you your money back that you should have never been charged as you canceled your storage via answering machine as this is the only contact for the storage...Because if you do mention the attorney general who should know about this, they will shut the chat window on you stating that they can't talk to you anymore now that you've threatened legal action! Worst mistake of my life renting here. I will be gathering the things that I have in my original storage unit and never use them again. This should have zero stars

The facility smells and the climate control building can not handle the heat during summer time. I was requesting a refund because they put me in a drive thru unit and i requested climate control unit with the online specialist. I did not even move to the unit yet not even 24 hours and they said they can not refund the admin fee. Don't go to this location. I transfer to state college location it's clean and very nice people and Jennifer explain it very well. They will even show you your unit before you sign the lease and they are very professional and friendly.

First and foremost, thank you Jennifer for all of your help!I inquired within about some issues I was having with my unit. Upon arrival I was very nervous because, well who likes to complain? Anyway, she was very helpful, patient, and above all transparent. She set my mind at ease and addressed all of my questions and concerns until I was 110% satisfied. Friends like these are what keeps me coming back. Thank you again Jennifer!

Great facility and great experience getting moved in! Settling on a new storage facility can be a dreadful task. Between uncertain locations and borderline unhelpful staff, I end up putting it off way longer than I should.I would not have waited as long had I known about this location sooner. The facility is safe and secure and I was not able to see anything to give any cause for concern as to the safety of my belongings.The staff is top notch as well. I was pleased to meet Anthony and Jennifer on my move in day. I was there right at opening and without skipping a beat, Jennifer was ready to give me a tour of the facility. She asked questions to help me decide what unit would be best for my needs and not just size wise, she kept into account ease of access, wether or not my items require climate control, and made sure to explain to me how the insurance works.After we discussed my needs, she took me to see several units in the sizes I was considering at various locations on the property until we picked one that worked best for me. The prices she gave me were exactly what I saw online and the total I had in my head was the actual total it came out to. Unlike any other time I’ve rendered a unit elsewhere, this time there were not surprise add on fees for various nonsense. It was refreshing to say the least and her service was top echelon.All in, I’m very pleased and feel at ease about the whole experience. Thanks to both Anthony and Jennifer for their service and hospitality and I look forward to a long stay here at your facility!

I usually don’t leave reviews much but ended up getting a storage unit here (moving from LA) and Jennifer helped me out. She was so kind and helped me with everything. She made sure that I had a good unit and went beyond helping me. I truly appreciate the customer service she gave me. Thank you Jennifer! The property was very clean and well maintained. I had another storage in OC and this one was way better and newer. I ended up closing that storage and got one here.Great experience overall.

It’s very stressful picking a storage unit but Jennifer really helped to assuage my fears because if you’re not worried about break ins then you’re worried about rats at any storage facility. It’s a big deal to trust your items somewhere away from you! The unit I chose at this location was very clean, some of them were built within the past 3 years, and their customer service is top-notch. I got a good price that I was able to prepay for (along with the insurance) for several months to “set the price” and not worry about suddenly getting an email that the price would go up the next month which is what many facilities told me they had the right to do. I understand extreme rate fluctuations is kinda the whole business of storage units, but it defeats the point of thinking you have your items safely in one spot after a lot of research, if suddenly you’ll be priced out the following month and need to move your stuff again…so I was very happy they offered this option and it’s not just a bait and switch move-in special. I believe you can pay up to 24 months in full (along with the insurance amount you choose) if you want to “keep the price for a certain length of time”. And if you decide to move out sooner you can have the remaining time prorated/refunded depending on your move-out time frame…The price online was correct when I showed up, they offer specials sometimes that are also accurately reflected online. Just make sure to reserve it (for free) while the price you want is “live” bc it could change the next day and they would have to do whatever the current online rate says which could be very different if you hadn’t made a no-obligation reservation. In my case when I showed up they said the rate had already doubled online but luckily I’d made the free reservation online for the previous price. When I checked online it was true that the rate had already gone up, they weren’t just saying that to get me to rent the unit. But luckily I’d gotten it at lower price. They’re very straightforward about their processes and try not to surprise you. Jennifer is the kindest person who is really fantastic at customer service and very genuine. She showed me multiple units just because I was curious and nervous abt choosing one, and helped me pick one that would meet my needs, each time enthusiastically driving me around on the golf cart to see them. She even checked on me while I was loading my stuff in. She’s just a lovely person who is very upbeat and enthusiastic about her job. She really strives to make customers feel better about storing their belongings there (if you’re like me and very anxious about this) and loves her job. She deserves an A+++ for customer service and friendliness.

I rented a great storage unit here, and Anthony and Jennifer helped me out. Great experience.A couple days later I realized I needed to get a second unit, and Jennifer helped me again. First she complained about her eyesight, then she complained about her coworker being rude to her, then she said she can't read the map properly and doesn't know which units were already rented, then she complained about her problems with her kids being in puberty. She did not answer my questions. Seems she was having a bad morning and started accusing me of all kinds of things.Too bad because she was so nice just a couple days ago...David helped me after my bad experience with Jennifer. He was great and answered my questions no problem.So..... not a good day for me and I have a headache.I will just avoid Jennifer completely when I am there and I suggest you ask for Anthony or David if you need help...! The units at this location are very nice.
