Droid Depot at Black Spire Outpost is an immersive Star Wars experience where guests can build their own remote-control droid. The industrial depot features droid parts on conveyor belts and assembly work stations, making visitors feel like they are inside Star Wars. The experience is highly customizable, with different colors and hardware shapes to choose from, allowing for many possible looks. Guests can opt for the basic droid or a package that includes a personality chip and a backpack. While walk-ins are sometimes possible, there is an option to book a time slot ahead. The process involves picking complementary parts, assembling the droid with a low-power electric screwdriver at a work station, and having a cast member bring the droid to life before it is packed in a box. The depot also sells pre-assembled droids, accessories, and kid clothing. Many find it a great, one-of-a-kind and fun experience, often a favorite. However, some pieces can be defective and a mentioned app for control may not work. The experience is generally considered expensive, with no cast discounts, though passholder discounts are available.

We build 4 droids here and it was an awesome experience. The customizable options, the personalities of the droids, the whole thing is top notch. Oh and of course they have droid day care so you can leave your droid and pick it up later when you are leaving the park.

Our son loved this experience. It's worth it for him since he likes to build stuff like this. Cast members/staff were very helpful with guidance on the building.
