Good shop, not a ton of items but a much less crowded shopping experience compared to anything in the parks or Downtown Disney.Staff is nice, items well organized.They have some unique offerings but you pretty much have to be in store when they're placed for sale or they are gone. There are no purchasing limits on any items, so you're headed to eBay (to pay the guy that bought a dozen) in order to get anything that might be popular.

We came here tonight to browse and look for a shirt for going to the park tomorrow while waiting on a table at Goofy’s Kitchen. Out of everyone in the store, my husband and I were the only ones followed around by employees, none of whom asked if we needed help but rather followed us around the store seemingly to make sure we didn’t steal anything. Others had bags, bigger groups, etc, yet we were targeted to be followed around the store. We ended up leaving without buying a shirt because we were so disgusted by the behavior of the employees, especially a younger male employee whose following behavior was especially noticeable/bothersome.

My daughter love, love, loves Trader Sam's and the Tiki room, so this shop is for her! They have all of the tiki merch here. We got a tiki mug, pillow, and key chain. We also got an adorable dole whip key chain, who cannot resist a cute little dole whip, plus the much coveted black Disneyland spirit jersey that is hard to find in anything other than a small or extra small due to supply issues. I like this gift shop. It is near the pool and the restaurants and has a lot of merch so you do not need to leave the hotel area to shop. Since we bought the ceramic mug, they even have sturdy wrapping so it can get home relatively safely. The theming in the store is also cute filled with plenty of Mickey's pesky little mops carrying around the buckets filled with water. Do not forget if you have the Disney credit card you do get a small discount over $50 which is not hard to spend while on vacation.

A guy named David at the cashier was very unfriendly. I tried to use a creditcard and it was a bit tricky because I had to tap the card on the face of a reader first and then swipe the card. As I was not able to understand his instruction, he puffed as if he is tired of such customer like me.

The larger of the two gift shops that are part of the Disneyland Hotel (the other is inspired by it's a small world), there's a great selection of park merchandise & a handful of Disneyland Hotel brand apparel & accessories. From pins & magnets to t-shirts, polo shirts & other souvenirs, there are plenty of options to outfit yourself with before your time in Disneyland & California Adventure. It's accessible from both inside & outside of the hotel. Give it a look next time you're near Downtown Disney!
