Staff in general excellent service and kindness, unfortunately the cleaning is terrible, they changed my room 3 times and in all of them there was hair and garbage

Desert Palms far exceeded our expectations! We had the deluxe suite which consisted of two queen beds and a small living room with a sofa bed. It could have easily slept six.The lobby and room were immaculate. Our room had a microwave and fridge, but no freezer (some rooms do have a freezer). We were also impressed by the breakfast selection in the morning: coffee, juice, tea, yogurt, fruit cocktail, cottage cheese, plain and strawberry yogurt, eggs, sausage, an an assortment of pastries. One day there were oranges offered, another day apples, and bananas a different day. The eggs and sausage were clearly marked as "Gluten Free" which I appreciated. Coffee and water available 24/7 in the lobby. I timed the walk - last (exhausted) day at Disney it took us 14 minutes to leave the gates until we entered the lobby doors. Would certainly. stay here again! Also - every single employee we met was genuinely friendly. Not sure who does their hiring but everyone we encountered was excellent!

Room, location, and employees were awesome. The only slight complaint is the cold omelettes for breakfast.

Amazing services. Just 5 to 6 minutes walking distance from disneyland and california adventure park. Serves quality breakfast everyday in the morning. Best in the business.

When I am on vacation, I enjoy being pampered. Housekeeping does not offer a bed service until the 4th day of stay. Our bed was a more comfortable style than other hotels in the area we have stayed at.

I wouldn’t call it “luxury”, but it is very nice. Perfect spot for a Disneyland trip! The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful, the check in process was easy and breakfast is perfect. You won’t be disappointed!

This Hotel Hotel has a very strict meet and greet policy for the handicapped and elderly. They will not allow a vendor to drop off a wheelchair or scooter without being present. If you have a reservation here with a rental -
DO NOT STAY HERE!
It's not to your best interest because Vendors cannot do accommodate the strict policy with their operating hours. It's very Undermining in costs to bring a rental inside. Believe me there are plenty Hotels without this policy that allow a drop of for a rental. You do not have to compromise with this stupid policy that undermines the handicapped community! Do not stay here! They don't care about you as a handicapped! Plan ahead and pick a Hotel that does not violet the handicapped laws for their own interest!!!

We typically stay at Homewood Suites, but decided to give Desert Palms a second try. Overall, much prefer Homewood Suites.
Desert Palms Pros:
Proximity to Park/stores
View from select rooms
Later breakfast option
On site food options
Cons:
1st floor rooms feel like a motel
Keys required for lobby restrooms
Parking is really tight
Elevators sound in major need of repair
Limited breakfast options
Breakfast stuff gets put away early and
They won't let you eat on the breakfast patio
On site food closes early
